Rv Repairs Reviews

  • Jul 8, 2016

I come to you in a case where I was referred to a gentleman by the Name of Luis Jacquez through the RV dealership of Scottsdale RV, Scottsdale Arizona. The owner of Scottsdale RV is a fantastic individual and has tried to help me in every way to get this problem resolved. Luis has worked for his dealership along with several other RV dealers in the Phoenix area for years.

I had just purchased a used RV from Scottsdale RV and needed so repairs done, such as adding a tow bar to my personal vehicle so I could tow the car behind the RV. Ryan referred me to Luis and gave me his phone number and told me to call him and tell him he referred him to me to do the work.

Luis came to the storage facility and checked out my rv and the Kia. He ordered the assembly and in a couple weeks, called me and told me he got the assembly. I let him take my Kia to his house to put on the tow bar assembly.

He returned the car to me and told me he was still missing a part to finish the install and was going to order it. He asked for $505 for the work he had done. I paid him by check. He didn't want me to make the check out to his company, make it out to his name of which i did.

In about 3 weeks, he texted me to tell me the part was in and he would schedule a time to install the extra part. No response after that. I kept trying to get ahold of him of which I never had problems before. No response to my texts, or voice mails.

I contacted Ryan with Scottsdale Rv and told him I was having problems getting Luis to call me back to finish the job. He tried and couldn't get Luis to respond. Ryan said this was really weird.

Findly after more than 2 weeks of no response from Luis, Ryan told me to find out what part I still needed and he would order it and I should go to someone else to install the extra part.

I took it to Horne KiA, my kia dealer in Chandler Az to have them tell me what I needed.

Great, Now the worst news. Since my KIA is a 4 wheel drive, none of the wheels can be touching the ground when being towed. It has to be put on a trailer to tow it.

I have again tried to get ahold of Luis and no luck. I have told him in fax and voice mail what has happened and have demanded a full refund and for him to remove the tow bar assembly and return it because I can't use it.

No luck even after telling him I would contact the Police, Attorney General and BBB. I went buy his house over 4th of July weekend. He is fine and living, so that wasn't the problem.

He works on alot of peoples RV's throughout Phoenix. I find that none of the names he uses on his truck or business card exist in Arizona and are not registered with the Secretary of the State of Arizona.

What a crook. Dishonest, and doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing other than taking your money.

Look out for this GUY! Trouble with a big T and my $505 dollars.
