In may 2018, I brought my car to Roy's auto repair in Hampton, Virginia. After 2 weeks of calling to see if they looked at my car, I continue to get excuses as to why they haven't. 2 more weeks go by and the receptionist calls me and says someone stole my tire. (How? This has never happened to me before.) She asked if I wanted to file a police report, I said yes. She said they would replace my tire with a new one. They still haven't looked or fixed my car. It is now June 2018, and still no word. But the receptionist calls and says they caught the guy who stole my tire. Okay. Then I tell them a few days later, I need my car ASAP, you all have had my car for a month and a week now. I get a call from Roy that Thursday because I asked for an answer by Thursday. He says it's my timing belt and my engine is cracked. It's so expensive to fix so I tell him that I will come and pick up the car that week. Since they had my car for so long, I only had to pay the $40 diagnostic fee. I thought that was nice of them. I didn't get to pick up the car that week but the receptionist said it was fine, the car is okay being there. I go to pick up my car to find out my tire has a spare on it, there are dents in my car, screws, and bolts are all over the engine, it was terrible how they left my car. The receptionist was there, along with another guy I never saw before. The receptionist said she would call roy and he was on his way. After waiting a few minutes, roy never shows up.
I leave and write a review about them on Google. I called them a few minutes later to see if roy got there and he still wasn't there the owner said. He said his name was fred. This is the guy I saw earlier. He asked me did I just write a review about them, I said yes. He was very nasty and said you need to pay me my $40! I told him I can pay today and that he was unprofessional and rude. I asked him if he was going to talk like that, he can talk to my brother. He responded with okay I got something for him. Threat made. He calls the police and lies saying I threatened him. The police officer says I didn't make a threat but he did. He said I can take them to court for not replacing my tire and that the owner wants me to pick up the car in 3 days. I picked up my car in 2 days, got it towed to my house. I looked in the glove compartment which I always keep locked to find my registration, insurance papers were stolen. I know the guy Freddy did it because I wrote a bad review about them. Which he just erased. I called the police and reported it. The officer that made the report, contacted me and said he would add the missing items to the list. Didn't seem like he cared much. These papers have my personal information and address on them. I don't know if they have my papers secluded from the public and prying eyes. That pissed me off. I don't want anyone knowing or having my info. No telling what this guy will do. I called the shop afterwards and the guy Fred answers and lies and says the receptionist needed my address. I'm taking them to court asap. No one should have to go through this. I was treated so unfairly and I want justice, not just for me, but for everyone that has been treated wrong by this company and all the companies that scam people. Thank you for reading.
