Cobblestone is committed to providing outstanding housing value with an exceptional lifestyle and unmatched resident experience at each of our active adult resort communities. We have combined the extraordinary quality of manufactured homes with desirable locations, superior on-site management, and expanded recreational amenities to deliver a premium value and enhanced lifestyle to all residents."
Well, now, wouldn't that be great if it were true? The problem is, every word is a lie; not a single word is based on fact. Besides being a whole page of superficial baloney, what they haven't disclosed is that Tricon (Cobblestone Property Management, LLC) is already a self-identified slumlord, with decaying, run-down properties all over the United States. In Apache Junction, Arizona they have engaged in illegal federal RICO activities by accepting kickbacks from a crooked Phoenix Internet service provider and from towing proceeds from an equally-dishonest Mesa, Arizona, automobile towing company, where residents' vehicles mysteriously disappear for imaginary ''parking violations''. Residents must drive an hour west of Phoenix and pay hundreds of dollars in imaginary "fines" to recover their vehicles. Efforts to contact Tricon/Cobblestone for comment have been consistently ignored. "Superior On-Site Management" Based on the above, you'd think Tricon is a nice, older trailer park to live and work in.
In the time I've lived here there was never a problem until this sleazy slumlord, Tricon, took over. Today, 7:30 am, the time when most people need to wash, use the toilet or take a shower, we have no water - again without warning or notice. On weekends the streets reverberate with speeding motorcycles and noisy off-road vehicles, whose drivers routinely ignore posted speed limits and noise curfews. Employee turnover is a constant event. Like every older trailer park, the park manager is a control-obsessed, angry, bipolar bully who quarrels with anyone she can find to level accusations toward, even if they're false. Excuses why they can't enforce their own rules pour off her lips like sugar from a bag. Park maintenance workers are equally rude and can be heard shouting obscenities with every park resident they come into negative contact with. Today I was forced to seek an Order of Protection against one employee, using his leaf blower to dispose of leaves by blowing them onto other residents' lots, despite being warned repeatedly by management to remove them. I have never met such professionally trained, gutless, crooked, lying, morally-bankrupt, cowards in my life. And you thought corporate greed among Mafia-type criminals was restricted to New York, Las Vegas or Chicago?
