I hired Rock Crest Gardens to do a "spring clean up" of my yard. The owner, Derek, came out and gave me an estimate of $600-$700 dollars. He told me he would have all of the debris removed, including leaves. Also, he would have his guys fill in the ruts on the lawn caused by the snow plow truck and have my yard mowed. His men showed up, blew some leaves, removed them and left. They never came to the door to say they were done and to see if I was happy with the job. They just left. When I went out there, they hadn't removed the debris under some trees, didn't fill the ruts and didn't mow. Not only that, they didn't even finish the side piece of yard. There were leaves, branches and a tarp that Derek specifically mentioned he would have thrown out.
I sent them an e-mail after I got the invoice for $760. I told him I wasn't happy and all of the reasons why (mentioned above). I never heard from him....just a second invoice e-mailed to me. So, I e-mailed him again. Nothing.....
On Sunday, someone from the company showed up at my house and handed my son, who doesn't live with me, another invoice. I was at work.
