THey have a transfer in function but to wire out to bank is "coming soon".
I then used all my funds to buy ETH coin as they allow you to transfer that to other coin wallet sites. It errored out when I tried so sold the coin off and back into cash.
They then put an investigative lock on my account for 7-10 days saying I can't use or access my money, with no reason given by site, social media response and email. Customer service actually hung up on me and I used no profanity though at that point was a little heated. They will gladly take your money but not give it back to you.
I invested in their trading services January 2022 and my suspicions and doubts started when I was asked to pay for a tax to be able to withdraw my asset, but there are many issues before when they told me that I must pay the exact amount even though with a little excess of amount I paid and they didn't accept i withdraw.
Instead they requested I have to pay few times in repetition to pay my tax as per the exact amount I've paid. They told me that the other way around is to deposit an amount I could reach the VIP 2 category so I can successfully withdraw my asset without transaction volume requirement and tax requirements.
This i knew was a scam and i was sure they told all the traders the same thing so as to syphon more money from them, till June they refused to let me have my money.
I can't seem to get my money back and there is no way to contact them except by being on their website or emailing them also still I am to be bounced around in hopes of giving up to the point I have to get help elsewhere.
Robinhood block my account, I cannot sell or get my Money Back, at the beginning of January I closed my Business Bank account and I forgot to stop the monthly recurring deposit, so one came back, i made a transfer from the new account for the full amount and More ,and everything was ok.
Then they ask for my bank statement and i send it to them ,then i got an email said that they need a newer bank statement, and i send it multiple times . then i receive an Email ask me to prove the account is My my last name is the company Name on the statement, so I am stock i don't know what to do at this point . the they ask for my driving license ok no problem ,i send it with my picture holding the license ,in PDF Back and Front ,this about 5 or 6 Time.
They always said that is not Clear that they Cannot see the 4 corners ,and we are going back and for for 1 Months ,end of the story there is no way for me to solve this ,i also send the picture of my passport , i mean terrible very danger ,don't use this company the me never release YOUR MONEY NO THEYR MONEY BUT MY MONEY that i work for.
App Malfunction that caused the sale of an Option that I was not going to sell. Automatic Withdrawal of more then requested. I was charged multiple penalties and excessive fees. Customer Service did not respond for 3 Days. And did absolutely nothing to help me. They basically stole almost $1,000
They send you a text thru a friend offering you a free stock share for signing up with their phone app. When you download their app and sign up they ask you to invest money/ buy stock.
If you don't invest any money they come up with one excuse after another to not give you your free share of stock. This is fraudulent advertising. If they advertise a free share of stock, no investment required, they should do that.
I added my account for disability payments. The next day they blocked account after Disability account added - Robinhood.com Sold all of my stocks - blocked bank transfers - Refused to refund money - I had brought several customer referrals and had the "Free" Stock from said referrals that was Sold/Stole by Robinhood.com.
What a scam of a company!!! Please Stay AwayY!!!! They will close your account and take your money after selling off all of your stock as little as it may be even after you brought them dozens of referrals and were given a share of stock for it and then had that stolen from you as well! Incredibly amazing scam company! Stay Away seriously! Please!
Had an account with Robinhood that I wasn't able to close. The controls on the website are very layered and hidden. It's not user freindly. You cannot close the account on your own. You must first wade through multiple prompts on the site at their "help section" prior to submiting a ticket. It sat there in internet space without any activity on it since November 2017. It had a positive balance at .64 cents, until recently when it was at -$8.35. When I inquired about closing it I was told to pay the minus balance to bring the account to zero so it could be closed. The phone number is 650-940-2700. You will hear a lengthy recorded message thst redirects you back to their website robinhood.com. Worse than any physical bank I've done business with I highly recommend instead. You can speak with a live person and they will happily explain anything about how investing works. Very helpful and freindly
