Such as rotting sill plate in corner, Install a sump pump into a pit, replace old discharge, seal holes, and cracks in foundation, replace old barrier. He told me that the floor joist were sagging in the area where the sill plate had dry rot and couple of other places. He said that he would do all the work and seal up everything, including adding screens to vents for 5,000 dollars.
It sounded like a really good deal, until I saw the work after. He did not fix corner sick plate, he used same old 30 year old sump pump that was there, used same discharge pipe, and hole, used same old barrier and added a cheap 6 mil clear plastic. He put bolted a 2x8 board to the concrete under floor joist, and you can see the board is already cracked straight down the center above the bolts and under the floor joist.
The sump pit has no lid, the barrier does not cover at least 6" around total perimeter as well as blocks, he will not return my calls to address this problem. His 2 workers worked 4 hours on Friday and 4 hours on Monday and were done.
