Hidden charges that will hit your account before you know it and no invoices or notifications...

I subscribed only to initial $1.95 trial fee to be able to check the service. it was not very useful. Imagine my surprise when I got $19.95 ResumeGig full subscription charge a week later. BEWARE! They automatically build a subscription charge to your card and withdraw money without billing or notifying you. Good old trick to penalize those who do not read fine print. It is written at the bottom of the invoice. My fault? Perhaps, but I wanted to warn all future users who may end up paying $20 monthly for the service you do not use. Honest business should not operate like this taking advantage of its mislead customers.

And I did call their helpline , spent 15 min waiting and received a refusal to refund my money in rather abrasive tone from ResumeGig customer rep.

Beware, read your receipt carefully and cancel before you get billed.

Basically we thought we had canceled subscription because who needs an ongoing subscription for resumes right? So i called to get my money back and beside the rep being rude as hell they said they couldn’t help me out. Do not buy from them.!!!!

1. claimed they were free, then charged me

2. ruined the resume I did write. Uncomprehesible

3. I can't access it to correct it. says my password is incorrect, I just did this yesterday.

4. won't respond to password change by email

5. when I called they said the office was closed, however the office hours were within the time I called

My bank account has an automatic debit for RBK. Despite numerous phone calls and even canceling my debt card they are still manageing to get money out of my account. I have never used this service and have been disabled for 20 Years. My wife works at the same job for almost 17 years and we have no use for this service. I do not know what to do. This company is a scam. I am so sick of this company and I wish they could be shut down! This has been going on for almost 2 years.

Rip off!!

Never ever used this website. Someone stole my information and the company will not allow me to cancel.. I even change a debt card and they still have my information.. Joint account with my husband. They are the lowest of the low. Been 2 years. I am so upset and do not know what to do.

I lost my job and used resume gig to do a resume once a year ago. I have never used it since that one resume. There are no reminders until your account is hit with the nearly $100 subscription. When you contact them, they close your account but after the new year's subscription has ended. I am retired. I will not be looking for a job. I will not be needing a resume. Now I am out another $100 that I could use. Do not use this program unless you are needing resumes for a long time and remember you have this service tied to your checking/credit card.

I used ResumeGig for a total of 2 months, cancelled in month three (on line)...still getting billed 3 months later. Went on line expecting to clear this all up and recieve a refund of more than $110 and was told -via chat- that I never cancelled my service. I asked them how that could be, I couldn't even log on anymore only to be told I'd recieve a "curtesy" refund of a partial month. That's where any form or curtesy or professionalism ended. The "chat" person acted like he/she (?) was an owner and stated flatly that I "got all the anwers I was going to recieve", then pretended that I wasn't typing any more questions into the chat box and ended the chat with my questions unanswered.

On to the phone and more of the same "we won't tell you anything different, you never cancelled". Then they transfered me to oblivion and 5 minutes later the line went dead...no manager, no owner, no nothing.

So, buyer beware. The platform is mediocre at best and obviously the monthly fee's, lack of professionalism and/or ethic combined with quasi-dishonest policies ought to sway anyone over to using a resume system with the client put forward best.
