RepairableVehicles.com Reviews

I found a vehicle on their website that I was interested in so I called and talked to Jeff the sales guy explained to him what I was searching for and my abilities to repair a damaged car. This is not my first repairable, I knew it needed frame repair and he referred me to a shop nearby their facility where I got an estimate to do the frame repair. Also I found the parts and estimated my cost to repair the car completely, I had a number of conversations with Jeff about the damage to the car, I also contacted another frame repair shop while waiting to hear from him I decided to buy it, then I talked to the second frame shop and was told it was a parts car, so I called Jeff again where he assured me that the first frame guy could and would do a good job in fact said he would have all his repairs done by him and the other guy had prior history I didn't know about, so I continued, had the parts sent to the frame shop when I finally got the car (weeks later) discover far greater damage like having to remove the motor and transmission to have the mounting locations welded, and the frame repair was far from complete. When I was looking at the car (only the pictures they posted) it was described as a lot driver (not sure how the rear drive shift was busted out laying on the ground) so I called Jeff, not much sympathy. I called the office to see if they could send me the posted pictures (that was actually before I received the car) they sent me the original pictures of the car when they got it, the car had not been dismantled yet but when I bought it the only pictures I saw were of the front end already removed, hmmmm, I wonder who did that (not really) so I'm left with why did they do that? Hmmmm, so they didn't know the seriousness of the damage when I asked (I seriously doubt it) I know it is my fault for not going to see the car in person but I thought I had done enough homework that I would be OK I've done several repairables and know there are always some surprises but not of this magnitude, does the song phrase (PRACTICED AT THE ART OF DECEPTION) apply here, I think so. If you call them and sit on hold a few minutes they even have a nice man say tell you (LET OUR KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY SALES STAFF ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ) so in the end I'm left with far greater time and money invested into this than planned for ,there is more to the story but this should be enough of a warning I firmly believe they got stung on this car and tried to get bailed out as much as they could by not disclosing all that they knew and we're asked about the damage, I think that you shouldn't have to ask about every little nut bolt and piece to get all the facts so they can say you didn't ask about that part.I found a vehicle on their website that I was interested in so I called and talked to Jeff the sales guy explained to him what I was searching for and my abilities to repair a damaged car.
