Julie Chen of Regis Salon in the Cordova Mall in Pensacola absolutely ruined my hair recently. In addition, I was treated very badly as a client by not only her, but the rest of her staff. In addition to their rude, unprofessional and lack of expertise in the hair styling business, I was GREATLY overcharged for what I received. When I complained about my great disatisfaction, Julie told me that it was my hair's fault, not her complete lack of styling knowledge. She embarassed me greatly in front of many of her other clients by speaking SO loudly that everyone could hear our conversation.

In many years of getting my hair styled, I've never had a more unpleasant, gut-wrenching, absolute cringe-worthy experience as I did at the hands of Julie Chen of Regis Salon in the Cordova Mall of Pensacola, Florida. I had been told by a couple of people that Julie Chen, being the manager, was the best stylist they had.

If that is the case---I'd had to see the worst!

When I arrived for my appointment, (the salon was not busy) I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. When she arrived, she curtly asked me, in a most unwelcoming tone of voice, "Do you have an appointment---because we don't take walk-ins! She then excused herself and said, "I will be back in a minute." I could hear the sound of women giggling in the background for some reason. Then, I heard the sound of a man's voice say, "I like that baby....Oh yea...." (I have absolutely no idea what was going on, but I could smell what smelled like aromas of weed burning).

The lady returned all red-eyed and giggling even more and said, "Where was I?"

I replied I did have an appointment with Julie Chen and then she laughed and told me they had overbooked Julie Chen and I would have to wait another hour or reschedule my appointment for a week later. I was due to be in a wedding the next night and had no choice but to wait. So, I walked around the mall and returned in one hour.

After arriving, they made me wait another 10 minutes and finally I was able to sit down and see Julie Chen. I was already upset for the unprofessional delays and behavior of Regis before I finally was seen.

In the chair, Julie Chen was rough on my hair and snagged me several times causing my head to be yanked back a bit. This seemed like the salon appointment from hell. I was in tears by the time she finished and then when she showed me in the mirror what she had done---I totally freaked out. She then started yelling back at me and said, "It's not my fault....it's your hair!" This is a complete lie because I've never had problems with my hair.

There is more that I could say, but I hope you get the idea of the absolute WORST experience I've ever had in my life in a salon.

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT book an appointment to go to Regis Salon in Pensacola or see Julie Chen. You will regret it, if you do
