A rep named Paul Price contacted me, claiming to reduce my cost of credit card fees, in writing he was reducing my fees from .05 to .025 per transaction, eliminate other fees, etc. After three different incidents, where my credit card machine shut down, I was left for days without credit card processing.

First, when I upgraded my internet service to a faster speed, 2 and 1/2 days, then the machine they provided me, a hypercom Optimum 4220 shut down without any notice from anyone. Come to find out the manufacturer had notified all their dealers, including Red payments of the shut down....it took three days for them to find and ship a new processor, another three days of credit card loss. Then the newest machine shut down on a Friday (ingenico ICT220) a required an authorization code, which was not available until monday.....another three days.

During these problems, I reviewed my red payment statements and discovered that many fees were still being charged to me, as well as, my per use fee was .o49 instead of the .025 promised. He also promised to help refund the $295 fee that Heartland charged me to change to Red payments (cancellation fee). He never did a thing to recover the fee and was not available when I needed help. On the last incident with the authorization code, he would not even return my phone call. I am done with Red payments!

Better Option

Flat rate processing available no other fees.

Example: 20600.00 x 1.85% = $381.10 no other processing fees.

I went to an interview at Red Payments recently after seeing an advertistment on Craigslist. The ad was for a sales job and it included a salary plus commissions plus bonuses and residuals. When I got there and after waiting an hour to see the manager, he told me that the job paid commissions only. The advertisement can be seen here: newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/sls/d/inside-sales-entrylevel-paid/6297041458.html

Of course I complained and the manager told me that it was a mistake and they were going to change that. Since the ad that I linked to this complaint was posted on 9-8-2017 and my interview was 2 weeks prior that manager was lying and Red Payments is bait and switching. I immediately said not interested and left quietly but, I was very upset that I had wasted the time and expense to get there!!!

I worked for red payments as a sales representative. I submitted what are referred to as deals. These are new customer accounts. Red payments refused to pay me correctly as per our agreement. I brought this to the attention of my manager. He told me that he would have it resolved multiple times for weeks and weeks on end. When I finally really push to get paid correctly I started getting excuses like there has to be an audit done on the deal that I turned in. There is also a super clever one where my manager said ACH guy isn't in today to cut me the check to correct my commission. The lodge became more and more outrageous as time went on. Finally my manager just stopped answering any correspondence. The nice thing is that I have everything in writing who texts and emails that I was due a substantial amount of money. I am now resorting to reporting red payments to Visa Mastercard American Express discover and the Processing Company they use to process payments. I will also be taking legal action. Everything that comes out of the mouths of management has been nothing but one lie after another. I encourage any former employees with a similar situation to contact me as I would be more than happy to make this a class action lawsuit. I have read many complaints similar to mine from former employees please get in contact with me as I already have a group of former employees that are going to join in on my lawsuit. I have statements where there has been outrageous amounts of money due to the sales representative that were not paid. Management does not disclose the profitability calculator to the representatives so red payments literally pays whatever number they come up with in many scenarios. I have given Red payments over two months to correct their mistakes and all that I have been given was a series of Lies. Fortunately I have my manager recorded verbally, text an email saying that I should be paid nearly $1,000 more which was the correct amount and they just refuse to pay me. I don't even think the principal owner knows what is going on with his management team running the ISO Department.

I am in awe that a "reputable" company would hire delinquents to represent them. If a "sales person" shows up to a place of business wearing street clothes and using street language, and using scare tactics to intimidate me to enroll in their services, they are absolutely in the wrong business.

I understand sales, so to be approached by a character like "Reggy" in such a displeasing fashion, it makes me weary of what type of business RED PAYMENTS is running, and what type of sales tactics they are teaching their sales people.

BUSINESS OWNERS BE WARE! If someone walks in to your place of business from RED PAYMENTS, call the POLICE!!! These people are scam artists who are trying to steal your customer's information. Protect yourself, protect your business, and protect your clientele!

Where to start with this "company".. Shouldn't even call them a company, more like a group of wunna-be New York mad men scamming everyone in their paths. My company signed with a sales rep named Reggie. He's a big guy, can't miss him. I cancelled my accoun. Ave they placed a hold on my funds and would only release if I re-signed. My only recommendation is to steer clear of this group of shady scammers.

Red payment sales representative told me there is no monthly fee, contract or other unauthorized fee will charge. First month, everthing is ok. The second month, $25.00 monthly fee add on. The third month, $25.00 monthly fee plus $150.00 PCI fee (unauthorized charge) add on. I have called Red payment sales representative and Red payment customer service so many time but the problem never been fixed. Also, Red payment customer service manager hand up my phone and she is not friendly at all. Red payment Nation sales manager told me he will take care of this issue but never did. I call the Red payment sales representative to cancel this service but he never responds. I even email and call Red Payments Executive Vice President at 646-274-1620 and [email protected] but he never reponds.
