I bought a recording king dirty 30's banjo last week when it arrived from musicians friend.com. I have been playing banjo for several years I ordered this as a gift. I costed me an additional $ 100.00 to make it playable. My local shop had to straiten the neck replace tuners tailpeeice and put on a new bridge and strings. Now its playabe. The first thing I noticed the bridge had extra slotts in it where the factory messed up and the strings were way off the neck where the bridge was two tall. The only reason I didnt send it back it was for a friends birthday. I do not blame the seller musicians friend.com. Its the manufactures fault. I spent TWO HUNDRED AND ELVEN DOLLARS before shipping. ONE HUNDRED FIXING IT.
