Where do we start. We had a power cut due to a severe thunderstorm and the power went off. We searched on Facebook for an electrican, as the main power had discounted. At first the owner of the business was quick to get arround and give us a quote. He thought it was the main power board. He removed the powerboard and several cables. He quoted us $500 for the labour and said it would not be a problem to be fixed. after we paid him the power went off again. He came back after we waited 5 days. He said he wanted $4000 to fix the problem which was supposed to only cost $500. The work was completed to a disgusting standard. he left rubbish everywhere. We wish we had paid a little more had the job done correctly at the start. We were going to take the matter to fair trades but he came and threatend my wife that he would bring people. I say do not deal with this company, stay well away from Raw Electrics from Toowoomba. We have since found out there was nothing wrong with the first electrical box, it was just a tripped fuse. We got ripped off at the start.
