From the beginning there are hidden costs they don't tell you about while selling. It's impossible to get a hold of anyone from the office. I've been trying for a month now and no one has returned my calls. I called the 1-800 number for a different reason and also mentioned my trouble with the office and she said she would tell the office to give me a call. That was over a week ago. Still no call not even from the manager I called on his cell. Unfulfilled promises of a check for $350, and 12,000 soap points. Now hot water heater is leaking from the pressure.

After I moved into my home I received a card to have Rainsoft come to my home and show me their water softening system. For this I was to receive a gift card. I asked how much the gift card was worth and they said $100.00. So I listened to their marketing pitch and filled out their paperwork expecting to receive $100.00 to a local restaurant. I did receive a card for $20.00 and when I called them to complain, the marketing manager said it's never $100.00. I was told $100.00 by the lady making the appointment and the sales rep who came out. Beware wasting your time.

I bought a Rain Soft whole house water condioning system in April 2014. I began having respiratory symptoms in June 2014. I was prmised a "break" on interest if I referred 10 people. It is now 2017 and I have not heard tbat first word from the salesman. He left a bunch of products to use that were supposed to be the best in the world. All these products are garbage and that's where they ended up. I have made countless trips to walk in clinics, my PCP, and other docs for my respiratory problems. I lifted the top of the salt reservoir and found mold growing on the salt and several marked lines of mold where the salt had been. I called the company and it will be removed from my home next Wednesday. What an expensive mistake! And they don't buy them back!

Disappointed. Read the fine print.

They do not mention the following and get a secure loan with your home.

You need to add $30 dollars every 3 months for the *rocks to the system and then to paid $189 dollars for changing the filters once a year. They never mention this aspect. Now in summer time you use more water, therefore you need to change the rocks every 2 months. They will help you finance, but the interest rates are the horrible. As a new homeowner, you want to give the best to your home. Just be careful, especially with the dealers. They paid a huge commission because they can get you in to a lifetime contract with the maintenance. No person want a lifetime company.

After one year, I was contacted the finance company and the dealer in a three way conference call. I just wanted to return the items and to get my money back and the answer was that in the fine print of the contract is stipulated maintenance for the life of the items.

In our language, it means LIFETIME contract and there is no person that, wants a lifetime contract. Americans have enough with electric, water and taxes.

Rainsoft AKA Florida Energy, Water and Air should be made liable for false representation . The system just does not work. I have had the company techs come out three times because the system does not do what the sales.person said. Each time there was outrageous reasons why the system wasn't working properly. If you are investigating this company RUN. It is not what it is said to be. Prior to the last visit a representative from Illinois called stating she would contact the franchise in Florida to see if they could make things right. Guess what. No difference. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't fall for the hype. I beg you to heed this warning. PLEASE don't.

My husband and I consented to a home presentation and the testing of our city water.

A representative from Rainsoft came out by the name of John he did the presentation and we were initially happy.

What was to be 1 hour turned into 3 hours by the end of the night our credit was ran and we were approved by Rainsoft to receive a $7700 system our payment would be $154/month and we were told within 4 and half years the loan would be paid off.

Within the first few weeks we noticed a foul smell coming from the pipes which was never there before I called to complain several times

The company sent technician after technician and no onewas ever able to fix the problem and the technicians reported that they did not smell any odor in the water but we did.

Each time they would test the water and state the water was soft but that was not the complaint the foul rotten egg smell was.

They placed two filtration systems and the smell did not and have not gone away.

We were promised clean, no smelling, good tasting water which we are not receiving.

I called the company listed on the billing statement and expressed how dissatisfied we were and that we would like to return the system.

They stated that if we did not call within three days of signing the contract they cannot do anything about it.

I expressed that three days to see if a water filtration system was not enough Rainsoft themselves told me that it would take three months to remove all the build up from within my plumbing.

I called and complained it got me no where my loan was $7700 initiated in December of 2014 and has been reduced to only $706 less.

My daily interest rate is 17.99% and there is no way my loan will ever be paid off in four years.

April 18, 2016, a sale's man came to my home because I sent in a test water to Homedepot. Sale's man was nice and professional, but overstayed his welcome. He was at our home for over 3 hours. Stained my kitchen sink with a product he used to test my water. He explained that RainSoft is the Top best brand out in the market and been in business for over 50 years. I was told that the water system for the entire home was maintance free and all we had to do in twice a years add rock salt to the machine. We wee also informed that all part and labor for life was covered and if I moved anywhere a tech would remove and re-install free of charge else where. The tech came out on April 19, 2016 to install product and was honest with me and informed me that he did understand why sale's man would give me misinformation. Tech also informated me that system needs some maintance every 5 years, if I moved within the year it would be free to remove and re-install within my city. I sent tech away and said I felt that I could not trust company for misleading us. I did not complete my business with RainSoft. Must do homewrok first beofre I go with another company.

On 4/9/2014 we purchased a water treatment system, your salesman did not tell us that the system would only run on 70 lbs of pressure. We have 110 to 120 lbs of pressure he also told us that this system would clean out our pipes it does not.

I have contacted them three or four times and all I get is lip service I want them to buy back the system butI have not had anything on that.

We bought this water system because they convinced us it have a lot of health benefits. They lied. We have make several attempts to them to tell them of our dissatisfaction. They are next to impossible to contact. We really do not really have a number for them. They will not call you back when you leave a message. They did send a rep out one time to try to shut us up but what he did made no difference. We are totally not happy and no one will even act like the care but yet they expect us to pay for it in full!
