I was sent a cashier check for $2980 which was to be deposited in my bank account. I need to go to the US post office and purchase 3 money orders each for $850 and a book of 10 stamps for $98. I was to keep $250 dollars for shopping and also complete an assessment form.
I call Capital One bank and gave them the cashier check number and was told the check was fraudlent.
