I bid on an ACER laptop, but was outbid. Quibids contacted me within minutes of having lost the item auction with an offer to buy the same item at their "supposed" low price, which I did. The item was shipped-no signature required for the delivery, I did not receive the item, I waited for some days "just in case" the shipment might have been misplaced/misdelivered/etc. before contacting customer service. To make a long story short-customer service implied that I was a lying scammer, they offered no assistance whatsoever, not to mention they were sarcastic, condescending, rude, and most unprofessional to say the least.

Registering for Quibids automatically debits you checking, credit card, debit card without any notice when you sign up. No notification nothing. Then will not answer their phones at all. Wedsite gives no instructions for closing the accout. What a scam. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THE ACCOUNT CLOSED. ANSWER YOUR PHONES. BEWARE what a trick.

Like others reported i was charged $50 without notice just for registering. They require CC but no notice that you are being charged even if you do not bid on an item. Awaiting response to my email that i refuse to pay this. Notified my CC company that will dispute. Total Scam

I had receieved an email to try Quibids, the online place to win great items, all new. I thought it might be fun so I signed up to play, it showed people bidding at .01 cent per bid and I thought I could afford that. A box came up to enter my credit card information and there wasn't anywhere to choose how much I wanted to purchase but as soon as I finished entering my card information, it automatically took my entire $50, all I had on my card. So, I thought I could play for a little while since it was only 1 penny per bid and then ask for the rest of my money back. I have never played these 'auction's before so was completely shocked when all of a sudden my entire $50 had been used up. It was then that I found out the bids were not .01 penny each but .50 cents each. I am on Social Security and cannot afford to lose money like that so I sent an email to support@quibids. com which they responded that they will not return my money that they disclose all information on the web site. Granted, there are lots of areas of writing on the page, so much that I am quite sure they know people won't read all of it. It should have had a place to check how much you want to spend. It should also clearly state the bids are 50 cents each instead of what it shows as bids are placed...at a penny each.

I was looking around and found "QuiBids". I was interested so I decided to look around to find out what was being sold. Then they asked for my information. I thought that it was'nt going to cost anything and I might find something I wanted to bid on.

I did not see any items that I wanted to bid on, so I left the site. After browsing the internet, I wanted to check my "Visa Debit Card Account" to see if I had enough money to purchase something else on-line. Thats when I found out that "QuiBids" had charged my account $60.00 for absolutely nothing!!!

I imediately sent an e-mail to them. I wanted my $60.00 back, and I was told that they would return my $60.00. I waited a few days and the money had not been returned. I e-mailed them again, this time I was told that they had refunded my money. They said that sometimes it takes 7 or more days for my refund would show in my account. After waiting a few more days, I e-mailed them again.

This time they blamed it on my "Account Now "Visa" debit card company. They gave me the following information:

Transaction ID: CT110526840

Timestamp: 2016-06-06 10:06 CDT

Amount: $60.00

To check with my debit card company to see how it handles incoming funds. Further, if after 7 business days, I should contact my debit card company for further assistance.

I chose to contact you as well. I sincerly hope that you can help me in this matter. I live in Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro, MD. I only get $77.00 a month after the nursing home is paid.

Quibids is a total rip-off. They lure you into their auction website with so-called auctions that sell high priced items for pennies on the dollar. I was curious enough to sign up, and if I chose to participate I would. LIttle did I know, my credit card was immediately charged $60, which they do not make clear, at least up front, there is no mention of being charged $60, they just take it. WHen I discovered I'd been charged, I contacted Quibids explaing that I did not want to bid on their auctions and wanted to be reimbursed for the charge. They offer no contact information expect an email address which by the way, they ignore.

As I registered with this QUIBIDS company, I visited help and recommendations to new customers. There was a notice that the operation of this austrlia's branch would be closed.

As I read the advice, I decided NOT to PURCHASE nor BID on line as I found ther have been quite a large number of complains rather than happiness!! So, I decided not to proceed with any transaction. However, two days time, I realised there was a withdrawal associated with this company, so I am very unhappy with this company as the are illegally and by fraud taking money from customers.
