Puppy Pet Boutique Reviews

  • Sep 17, 2015

I purchase a tiny teacup Yorkie from puppy pet boutique on Friday, August 28, 2015. (before you post anything negative please read all the way. I have three rescued animals and I donate lots of money to rescue groups yearly, I admit I made a bad mistake to BUY a puppy online) I found this pet through the internet website call puppypetboutique. I selected the puppy “Sammy” off of the website that I wanted to purchase. I sent a text message to the breeder asking if Sammy was still available. She replied yes and we set up a time for me to purchase the pet from her on Friday. The breeder asked me to meet her because her husband doesn’t like for people to come to the house when he isn’t home. So we set up to meet at Spring Creek BBQ in Hurst.

When the seller arrived with the dog, she assured me it was the same dog as Sammy.

I was confused but thought maybe the dog just needed a bath and his hair fluffed. I tried to pull up the picture on my phone but as we all know, looking at a picture on your small phone in bright daylight is hard to see. She was in a hurry because her kids were needing to be picked up from school and she promised this was the dog in, Sammy, who is 8 weeks old. Not being able to pull up a large enough picture on my cellphone I wasn't able to argue with her.

So I paid $1200 for the dog, as I put him in the car seat, she got in her car and left, in a hurry. I sat there in my car and asked my husband to look at the picture of the dog Sammy from the internet and then a picture I just took of the dog I had in the car, he agreed that this was not the dog in the picture. I immediately texted the lady and asked her to come back, I was still sitting in the parking lot of Spring Creek BBQ. She refuses and says she is picking up her kids, I told her I would wait. She then informed me that it isn’t her problem now and that I signed a contract. She then tells me she isn’t responsible for the photo’s not being correct on her website and that she gets these dogs from other breeders. (Which was news to me, I thought these were her dogs) I asked for the breeder’s information and she refused to disclose that information to me. I didn’t want refund at this moment, all I wanted was the dog I came to purchase. I asked her within 20 minutes of purchasing the dog to return him for the correct dog and she refused saying all sales final. She also told me the dog was over 8 weeks old.

Since she was refusing to let me return the dog and give me the correct dog, I immediately took him to the vet in McKinney to have him looked over. The vet said this dog is barley 4 weeks old and doesn't have any teeth, which is a clear indication of this pet’s age. The vet agreed that this is not the same dog as in the picture. I have tried to work with this breeder and she is refusing to work with me stating that if I file legal action I would have to pay her attorney fees. Please help me spread the word so others do not get duped and bullied by this lady. Also this poor baby boy had hookworms really bad. So not only did I get the wrong dog, I got a sick dog too. I would

love for a news team to also pick up this story.

This type of breeder needs to be stopped and reported. Please help and share my story. The online store I purchased from is puppypetboutique.com. The lady is from Bedford and her name is Yvonne. Heart broken and duped from Mckinney. I also have saved full text conversations that she assured me I was buying dog #1. Someone please help me. At this point I just want this person outed. I would never return this dog to her after all of this craziness. I actually see the picture of the dog I have on her webpage for $800. I paid $1200 for this dog. I should at least get a partial refund since I did not receive the correct pet. She is going to say that I am trying to return this puppy because my husband didn't know, I did not want to return the puppy for a refund. I wanted the puppy I was suppose to get. My husand knew I was getting a puppy and even helped picked out the one we wanted.
