We have found over the past year that our situation is not unique. Many hundreds if not thousands of consumers have been outright defrauded by PulteGroup, their subsidiaries and Senior Management. We aim to fix that. Through a basic social media campaign we have identified over 250 people that do not have the means to stand up for themselves - so I am going to do it for them.

I am not a lawyer, but have talked with some of the best in the country and am ready to proceed. If you feel that Pulte Group or their subsidiaries have defrauded you, please reply in the comments with the following:

1. Product Name

2. State

3. Date of Purchase of your PulteGroup product

4. Price paid

5. Total amount of any repirs made that you feel were either part of your move in agreement or unaddressed Warranty items.

I will be in touch with you with in 24 hours to give you details of the law firm handling this matter and how to see if you can join this suit.

I recently purchased a new home from Pulte. There were several issues with drywall, painting and doors. I was told during the walk through the issues would be addressed, my realtor was also present. It has been a month since I have moved in and the issues have yet to be addressed. Field Manager, John Snider has continuously told us lies. The quality of Pulte homes does not match their price tag.

I purchased a home in Bridgewater by Del Webb in September of 2014 and 3 years later I find out that in two places my sewer line was broke and they put my cement slab right over the breaks and left it, on the 12th of September 2017 my home filled with sewage. I called a plumber and he had to tear up my cement in two places to discover that I had 2 seperate locations of sewer pipe that had been broken and flowing under my home for 3 years. Pulte found out about the leak and called to tell me that because I called an outside contractor to fix the sewer problem which cost me 12000.00 that my warranty is null and void. My home was emptied of all my personal belongings becasue of the sewage on them and I am living in a hotel with my two dogs for the next two months

My wood floors which are in all of my living space had to be riped up because of the sewage on them and since the restoration company had to remove all my wood floors with a machine because Pulte had them glued down to the cement instead of putting a floating floor down like you should on concrete floor, the dust from the sewage got on all my personal belongings and had to be stored and cleaned before any new construction can begin and my belongins brought back into my home. `

They didn't offer any compensation or an apology just a snooty person called to tell me my warranty is null and void.

Sewer pipes don't break after 3 years unless they weren't installed right in the first place sewer pipes on average last 30- 40 years not 3 years. I am writing this to warn people not to buy from Pulte. My life is so upset right now and it's gonin to take months before I can live in my home again. Where was the city inspector in all of this, how did this pass inspection? Was he sitting at his desk when he inspected the plumbing, it's been know that inspectors are paid off, especially when they can tax seniors for homes that are suppose to be Executive Style homes for an unblieveable amout of tax for a vey small lot.

I’d like to share my miserable experience with Pulte Home. This is specifically for their Onyx project at San Jose.

Long story short. I ordered a condo last year in June/2016. The move-in date on the contract says Feb/2017, but until today (May, 2017), that lot is not even breaking the ground. That's right -- I’m not saying that it’s not finished. I’m saying that they did NOT EVEN BREAK THE GROUND after a year that I signed the contract!

They claimed that they didn’t get the permit from Verizon to move the cell tower on that lot so they can’t break the ground! Shouldn’t you get the permit before you can pre-sale the house? Also, we didn’t get any single word/notification from them about the schedule delay in past year. It’s always us who find out that there’s another delay again and again… What’s even worse is that the interest rate keeps rocketing high in the past few months, but we cannot lock the rate until the a month before the move-in date which is an unknown now. Until today that lot still looks THE SAME as the day we signed the contract an year back, and we still don’t know when it will start.

The contract said they should finish the house in 2 years after signing the contract, but it didn’t say anything about if it can’t be finished on time. They said I can cancel the contract and they will refund my deposit. But an year has passed and the house market is even higher now and I don’t have many choices…. They seem to prefer to have me cancelled since they can sell my house for even a higher price. On the other hand, in such kind of house market, I got almost no compensation either..

Question: It’s my first house and it’s never been so frustrated. I’m wondering whether there’s any way to protect myself legally, instead of sitting still hopelessly?

Pulte did a bait and switch on me when I went to go build a new home in Tanglewood, South Lyon, MI. The model had everything I wanted, especially the gourmet kitchen. When the salesperson was asked if we could get the kitchen exactly like the model, he said yes. We had gone back at least 1 more time to make sure we loved what we saw, and confirmed with the salesperson we could get that exact house. He said yes, and it coudl be the same elevation due to the lot we picked. WE had asked him to price out everything in the model to unerstand the pricing. He said he did, but not the little items like recessed lights, but I said that was OK. He said the next step was to sign the purchase agreement and to pick out the interiors. The amount to put down was significant.

As I kept reviewing the build list, i asked him where certain things were so I can make sure I get the correct items we like. As I kept asking, I kept finding things that were not on the list. I kept asking for a buidl list of the model, in person, email, and text. The only item I received was a picture of the hood for the kitchen and a price.

About 3 weeks later when we went to pick out the interiors, and still no list of the model, there were many items they simply told us we couldn't get those items, they aren't available anymore. Nothing compared to what was in the model. We had the worst experience.

I went drove over to the sales person at the model and informed him of the horrible experience and I wanted to terminate this deal. They had showed me the model, told me I could get the model, but in the end they would not delver.

He told me he would work on it. I told him, I have no trust in Pulte and I just want my money back. I stated that based on this experience, other issues would come up and how difficult it would be to deal with them. I said no, just refund my money.

3 days later, and after my email asking to officially terminate, he tells me he has permission to work it out. My response was, " What does that mean? I do not trust you, I had to work this hard for the basics you are showing and do not believe you will deliver a quality product." They did not put it in wiritng, nor did they talk about the pricing. I reiterated to just refund my money. They cancellation came with the following" buyers remorse, $0 (zero) refund".

I called the salesperson and asked for him to change it, but he wouldn't. He said it was just a process to go through and to electronically sign it. I told him it did not represent the truth. He sent me an un-modifiable form and said to send it back to him and he would submit it. I didn't trust him, so I hired a lawyer to write the letter.

After going back and forth with Pulte lawyers, they would not give me my refund, but were willing to give me the items I asked for, and verbally stated they would price them at the amounts offered before they were taken off their list. My final response was I don't trust you, no. I had to go to these lengths just to get what you are still showing, and know that are not available. No signs stating such.

The only reason we didn't file a lawsuit is my lawyer told me it would cost between $25,000 and $35,000 to go through the process and there is a risk. the issue is a jury or arbitrator might consider their willingness to meet my original demands as they originally made a mistake. And even though it is fraud by iinducement, this might be looked at as a mistake and I could lose. I can't afford another $30,000 loss on top of the earnest money loss should the risk come to life. this is what Pulte wants is their big, deep pockets can out last the little person. I would recommend to never build with them, they are untrustworthy, and will not do what is right. They only care about profits. As i researched more, i found horror stories about Pulte. Their purchase agreements should be illegal claiming they can switch out any item at their own discretiion as long as it is of equal value. There is a difference between money and what someone values.

Do not ever build with Pulte!
