First with the VFW then with the USNI. You get a card or call to update important membership info. When you respond, they ask a lot of questions and after wasting 10-15 min of your time, reveal that they are selling the collected member info as a directory. Aside from your wasted time, Expensive and totally useless.
I approved the auto pay for 3 months over the phone to a representative that called me for money that summed up to the amount of around $300. this was in the month of "march" 2015 and was told that I would receive the book in July of 2015, then, they put a message out that we would get the book at the end of Oct. but, still no book. I was told by my Central New Jersey chapter for my lifetime membership to the 82nd Airborne Div. that this company took money from many other members and are a "Rip Off". I don't know what to do about it and I live only on Social Security. I really need that money. I took a chance of purchasing that book hoping it will be something great and to talk about. I hope someone will read this and call/message me about what they think I can do.
Made purchase on 10/5/2015 with Publishing Concepts (PCI) under the impression that I was purchasing University of the Pacific Dental School Alumi Directory, UOP Products and providing support for the school. Products were Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, Softbound Book, Travel Bag and "Discounted" Companion Airline Certificate.
I received the airline certificate but was for a website that is questionable and there is no actual discount when you compare to any airline flight search. So I know that this specific product is a complete ripoff and never have used it.
I was willing to let that go since I received that only a few months after the purchase. It is now 13 months later and no other products have been received. Also, I have not gotten any reply from this company since starting to contact them a few days ago about getting a refund. This just screams scam.
