ProTruck Sales Reviews

These are the same scammers from Pro Truck Sales that scammed 7 people last month. They have changed the name from Pro truck Sales to Pro Sales Service. The web site is the same exact website used before with the name changed. They tried to sell the same item again to me and a friend again using the same scam. I am putting this out so maybe it will stop someone else from getting scammed.

They use many different names but are always using the same female photo. I have included several with my report.

The scam being used on Craig's List to get you interested and then they take all business off Craig's List to private email. This stops Craig's List from banning them. Same with law enforcement, no one wants to make a report because it is all done on the internet. They are using working phone numbers, email and websites until you start to question them. once they get your money they will not answer phones or email.

If you have been ripped off by any of these people or business's we need to compare notes so we can stop them. I have already found 3 other scams of iteams they are trying to sell and reported them to law enforcement and the banks withthe account numbers they are using.

I saw the boat on Craiglist in SC and inquired via email. Allison Smith contacted me via email and proceeded the sale via Pro Truck Sales. They sent me the bill of sale, which looked very ligit and the seller sent great fake IDs (TN driver license and US passport) to fool me. I was too busy to double check via phone and everything was done via emails. I wired the money on 10/09/18 and did call the provided pro truck sales phone number. Some heavy accent man answered the phone and assured of the transanction process. I waited and the boat was never delivered. The online message reported of the transaction being canceled due to accident. The website imdicated the refund would be refunded within 1-3 days. However, it has been more than a week and nothing has happened. I've tried to contact Allison Smith via email, she didn't reply any more. Tried to call and email Pro Truck Sales, no one responded or answered. This is a great scam set up. Even normally being a cautious person, I still got caught. What a shame and painful $24K lesson!

We found a rv on Craig’s list that we really liked and responded to the ad. A Allison Smith said that she was unable to send pictures to us through Craig’s list and needed our email address. The rest of our conversation was done through email.

We were then told that she was using Pro Truck sales to store and show her rv. We registered with pro Truck sales PTS and everything looked legitimate and we continued the Purchase through PTS. The Craig’s list ad was listed in Montgomery Alabama.

Allison Smith sent us a copy of her Florida drivers license and passport showing she was a Doctor in Pensacola, Fl and the rv was at the PTS warehouse there in Pensacola. We used to live there and still have children living there. They gave us a address to inspect the rv.

When our son showed up that afternoon there was no rv there. PTS then told me it had shipped that morning. The address is real but not a PTS warehouse. The rv was scheduled for a 10-22-18 delivery and when it didn’t show up I was told it was involved in a accident but wasn’t damaged and would be delivered the next day.

The next day PTS would no longer answer phone calls, emails or customer chat. After delivery time pasted I was sent another email stating that our rv was in a second accident and was damaged and couldn’t be delivered and we would revive a full refund. We are now out $20k and no rv.

On October 10, 2018 I registered on ProTruckSales website to purchase a piece of Heavy Equipment from a Michael Buckman. After some negotiating, he came down off the price a little from $15,300 to $14,500. I was asked to print off the bill of sale (which all looked legitimate) and then the wire transfer instructions were listed on the paperwork.

I went to my bank that day and sent the money to a TD Bank and the name on the account was Renaldas Augonis. After they verified the money was in the account they set up a delivery date. The original date to be delivered was on October 16, 2018. I received an email indicating that the truck hauling the dozer was involved in an accident and they would deliver again the next day. On October 17, 2018 - I got another email indicating that there was another wreck and now the dozer was damaged. The email stated that the delivery is canceled and the money would be back in my account from 1 - 3 business days.

I emailed Michael Buckman and asked him if it was a scam and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He said that he was going to call the company to find out what happened. He emailed me back and basically told me the same thing that was emailed to me - and he said the money should go back into my account the next day. On Thursday, October 18, 2018 I emailed him again asking if he had heard any other news, he quit responding to my emails and the phone numbers listed on the website for pro truck sales are all recordings.

I had no idea this was a scam but I have also contacted the FBI Internet Scam Division and made a case.

Boat was listed on Craigslist - Good Deal - not exceptional, but good.

ProTruck Sales was listed as the comppany that was storing, transporting and would serve as escrow for the funds.

ProTrucks website looks great, very detailed, very thouough - but it appears ALL to be fabricated.

They send you phony ivoices, bills of sale, 7 day guarantee - All very official looking, - ALL PHONY

Person selling the boat was listed as Allison Smith MD, PHD. Same picture (person) as is listed on several threads (AutoHangout.com)

under several different names, so this is obviously a scam.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PROTRUCK SALES - You will get ripped off
