Address incorrect

Promote ROI is no longer in Beaverton. Back when they were still calling themselves Yurz, they impulsively closed the Beaverton office, giving the local managers only about 2-3 weeks notice and cruelly demanding that the news be kept secret from the rank and file until the very end, because the owners had nosedived their business and desperately needed to downsize. So of course they closed the site with the actual expertise and lower operational costs and moved the fulfillment and retention departments down to the corporate HQ in the Larry Flynt building in Beverly Hills, because the primary function of the business is not to actually succeed as much as possible, but rather to create the most ostentatious appearance of success for the owners.

Promote ROI is located at 8484 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 630, Beverly Hills CA.

They were previously known as Yurz, and before that for a long time as Linktech. They also used to burn through Doing Business As (DBA) names like Global Net Media, Global Media Advertising, International Media eXperts, etc.

There was also a bizarre side hustle known as "Merchandazzle" that lasted for at least a few months that nobody could figure out what the hell was supposed to actually do.

I was contacted by this company to promote me as residential realtor by managing my FB business page some time ago. I paid monthly and they claimed they would not only post relevant and interesting items but they would grow my followers. I noticed any time I got a like and/or follower it was from individuals in India. I was going to give them a chance to address the glitch in where they were marketing me but decided just to part ways since I was considering a career change.

I proceeded to pursue a career in commercial real estate. Fast forward the company called me to ask why I left and to offer me a free trial to come back. I told them about the original misdirected marketing coupled with the career change would mean I'm no longer a good prospect for them. They said they can provide commercial real estate content and that they would like the opportunity to prove their services could be of value. I said as long as I don't have to provide a credit card I would give them a shot.

The agreement was they would design a great cover photo and they would send posts to me before Sunday and I was to approve them before they would go out. And that I would end up growing relevant followers near me

First thing they did was to change my FB profile to place me back at the residential company I had left months ago even though I had updated all my info with their consultant prior to them taking over my page.

In commercial real estate this can damage your reputation and credibility so I immediately changed my page back and called them and read them the riot act and told them never to do anything without my consent as originally agreed.

I received the first batch of 7 posts for the weeks pre-approval and there were only 2 that were aimed at real estate investors which is at minimum only marginally relevant for a commercial broker who specializes in retail/office space. But I approved so I could see what I would get out of this.

The next 2 weeks nothing remotely relevant to commercial came forward so I called to cancel. When you call to talk to sales you get a live person in under a minute. When you call to cancel that put you in a cue starting at 20 people ahead of you. I held and held till it said I was 2nd in line. Suddenly the next announcement pushed me back to 4th in line. I finally talked to someone and cancelled after 58 minutes on hold only to find that they sent me more posts for the next week.

I assumed those were put in a cue for me before my cancellation and to just delete it but then I was sent posts the next 2 weeks. I refuse to sit on hold for another hour to remind them I had cancelled. Part 2 will be to find out if this is a ruse where they pretend you never cancelled and then call me asking for payment because my free trial has ended. Stay tuned!

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This company is a pure JOKE!! They took my money and did absolutely nothing. I called them to find out what the heck was going on, and they said, "Oh, oops, we couldn't get your login to work so we couldn't do anything." Wondering why nobody had bothered to reach out to me, I expressed my dissatisfaction and they refunded me for the prior months. I gave them my info AGAIN, and THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN.

After months of being charged $60/month for absolutely nothing at all, I tried to dispute again and they denied the claim and refused to give my money back. This is after calling over and over and being on hold for no less than 20minutes to an hour each time, and being told multiple times that someone would call me back. At one point I spoke with their "floor manager" (who was always the highest level of position I was ever given access to), and she sounded like a ghetto teenager who had no buisness ever being a manager, much less the highest status of employee in the building!!

After such a poor level of customer service, I wouldn't work with this company even if it were free!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE COMPANY. I will be certain to spread the word everywhere I possibly can. If you want to live your life on perpetual hold, by all means, sign up with these clowns. I, however, will be sending them a demand letter from my attorney.
