I ordered the Atmos RX Junior Dry & Wax Vaporizer Kit from Portable Hookahs. I received the kit a few days later.

I charged both batteries (I'd purchased an extra) overnight. I followed all directions in the booklet, including troubleshooting steps. I contacted the company immediately as their website stated this is what I needed to do in order to return the item for a refund or replacement.

I looked up troubleshooting steps online and found a lot of reviews stating this item, contrary to the "reviews" on Portable Hookah (which are false), that it doesn't work for dry vaping herbs. The herb I used is legal in all 50 United States so it wasn't anything illegal. I have a lot of pain and I was hoping these herbs would help and I wanted to be healthier about it, so I wanted to vape them.

Anyway, immediately Portable Hookahs went on the defense and accused me of not using the device properly. I stated the steps I'd taken. They told me to contact Atmos as it wasn't their job to replace it. I explained that they were basically telling me that if I went to Wal-mart and bought a crockpot, took it home and plugged it up, and it didn't work, then Wal-mart wouldn't take it back. How would that make them feel?

They again said, "not our problem, contact Atmos" and again accused me of being stupid and not able to follow directions. They absolutely 100% refused to take back their product and in a subsequent email accused me of lying about the condition of the units when I received them (one of the chambers had a blue coil and the other had a burned out one before I used it, including burned out residue in it). So, they accused me of lying and of being an idiot in the series of four emails. Repeatedly they were saying "not our problem, contact Atmos" which is really not at all what their return policy said! Each time they said, "well you opened it!" How else would I know if it worked?!!

I've since been researching and have found this is their mode of operandi. They sell people things that don't work, then say, "not our problem, contact the manufacturer..." so they are knowingly selling refurbs or broken equipment. I'm not sure which, but either way, I'm very upset with this company and don't want anyone else being ripped off. I'm a disabled widow with two special needs kids, on a very limited budget, and now I'm out $125. I should have just gone to a local vape store.

Thanks a lot, Portable Hookahs. You really put the suck in customer servicesucks. Please avoid this "reseller."
