Pizza Hut Reviews

  • Apr 14, 2023

I placed an online order April 1sy when my family was on vacation, paid for it online plus the tip amount and my order was never delivered. I couldn't get a hold of anyone at the store, it was all automated. Finally got a hold of someone from Corporate. They filed a complaint and told me someone would contact me in 3 business day. Heard nothing, so I reached out again. Filled another and told me to wait another few days, and I said I already did but proceeded to tell me to wait 5 business days instead now! I reached out again today which would be 10 business days now! Still nothing, the customer service is crap! They stole money from me, and could care less about it! This company needs to be investigated because after reading reviews, it sounds like I'm not the first one this has happened to!

I ordered online Thursday morning for a Friday delivery. Not only did it NOT show up but calling and trying to speak to someone was near impossible. It would say to press #1 or #2. #1 was to speak to someone about whatever issue and #2 was to talk to someone to order. No one would answer when pressing #1 of which I called more then a dozen times, After pressing #2 and, actually talking to someone, they would correct me and say it was for ordering a pizza.

I would let them know I was aware but they don't answer when I press #1 and that's why I pressed #2. They acted as if they were transfering me and I would get hung up on. Once again, I called over a dozen times. I had one guy argue and hung up on me. Two times I called asking to speak to a manager and got hung up on. Every "Employee" I talked to felt as though it was a scammer and it was making me nervious.

I ended up driving over, door was locked and when looking through the window, got the impression they were getting ready to move. The only thing up and running was the drive through.

Foolishy they wanted me to review. I wrote a bad one because I couldn't speak to anyone. Even calling the Corporate office wasn't happening because, yet again, no answer. I felt I got ripped off.

After threatening to contact the BBB and writing a review on Ripoff, I hear from a person from Pizza Hut who apologized and cancelled my order so I didn't get charged.

Even though it ended well for me, it's sad I had to threaten for me to get results. If you want to continue doing business with this company, just know ordering online at this location should be avoided. I'm not sure about the others but I wouldn't chance it.

Pathetic.... Incompetent... the general manager of the place, Giovanni Rosado , was incapable of working his own register to key in a simple PIZZA HUT GIFT CARD.... so incompetent he couldn't even honor his own company-issued gift card.... then he got rude and insinuated the e-gift card I was using was either a fraud or "out of date" -- even though Pizza Hut itself issued it to me earlier this year and it shows a valid balance on PIZZA HUT'S OWN WEBSITE!!!!!

i asked him to call someone in corporate or wherever to help him with his own company's card, he refused and called his alleged district manager, Carlos Argueta, who either similarly did not know how to ring up a PIZZA HUT GIFT CARD, or didn't care. At this point Giovanni told me I was out of luck even though it was his own ineptitude and thus Pizza Hut's inability to honor their own gift card that created the problem.

I'd ordered the pizza for my stepson, and by now had wasted an hour and had no food to give him when I got home (I'd left my wallet at home, other wise I'd have paid for the measly $15.00 order).

This inept "district manager" did nothing to make it right, and asked me to leave the store.

AVOID THIS PIZZA HUT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!

as for the "district manger" Rosado Giovanni, he should be fired immediately!!!!

I, David Sharp, was fired because of lies about myself. The lie were made General Manager Ben Counts.he said I cause a disturbance when not. I asked to speak with the Regional Manager and Ben Counts went on to impersonate her too gather information. I had a witness and also talked to the real Regional Manager and no punishment was made. Ben Counts was not fired after all his lies and now I'm with-out.

Pizza Hut continuously advertises offers that don't exist. For example, "50% off ALL menu-priced pizzas." or "$11 ANY Pizza". However, when trying to place an order using these offers, only a very limited selection is avaiable. They do not mention the exclusions even in their fine print, and even capitalize the words "ANY" and "ALL". They responded to 1 of my 5 contact attempts, and took over a week to do so. And after that week all they said is that it was a glitch and it will be corrected. A couple months later however, and the "glitch" is not corrected and the false advertisements continue. After I submitted complaints to several agencies, Pizza Hut's corporate office chose one of their franchisee's to deal with it. The franchisee contacted me promising free pizza coupons which never came in the mail. My next contact with the franchisee promised a call back. Still nothing.

At 6:49 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2015, I placed an order with the Wytheville Pizza Hut for a large, thin and crispy, supreme pizza, without mushrooms, by Internet. According to the website, my order would be delivered in 30 minutes and 55 seconds. At 7:35 PM, on the same date, I called the Wytheville Pizza Hut to find out where my order was. I was shuffled between three different people, presumably one was a manager, who informed me that they did not receive my order. And, they said that they had just received it. The impression that I got was that they do not bother to watch the Internet orders placed and and they basically confirmed this by stating they do not pay attention to it. They stated that it would be delivered immediately, but that it would be full price, not free, in spite of the fact that it was their fault it was not delivered promptly.

Almost one month later, October 29, 2015, I received a reply from the BBB stating that Pizza Hut had responded.

The district manager, admits that the delivery was late. Additionally he states that he verify that there was no charge.

The reason there was no charge is because it was late and, when I was informed that I would still be paying full price, I canceled the order. In a way, he is calling me a liar and does not realize that the pizza was never delivered.

There was a time when Pizza Hut in and out of their way to make certain that a customer was satisfied. Even something as simple as putting the wrong toppings on order would have resulted in a free pizza. Instead, their managers now cannot do that and it must be referred to the district manager and is been misinformed or deliberately lied to about the customer's complaint. He then in turn implies the customer is lying so that they do not lose face.

To me, it is completely unacceptable for the employees to behave in such an irresponsible manner regarding customers and even worse for a manager to lie to their district manager regarding their mistake.

If they do not wish to take orders by the Internet, and discontinue this option and safe people headaches.
