This man ran a scam in the 80’s and I got caught up in it too! He sold himself to many like myself as "Phoenix Fox" a fashion designer dealing in leather designs back in the 80's. He even had a well known law firm in Palo Alto provide contracts, which made it look very legitimate. He had an office loft in Oakland and used his mothers business “Black Fox Cosmetics” to show a firm reference.
We soon learned that he took all our money we invested in his company "International Design Team" and scammed us. He used that money to keep his other scams running along. I contacted the FBI back then but they did nothing. I recently learned that he was still running his scams using new made up names like Phil McElroy.
He was so ruthless that he took one freind who had recently retired from UPS and invested almost all of his money, leaving him poor and devastated. This freind never recovered from the loss emotionally and died heartbroken and depressed. He never received from the loss. Then there were others like me. In total our loss was 50k.
I just watched a video on youtube https://youtu.be/ivPHA1aojug and watched him do his thing which is the same old thing he did to me years ago.
I hope that someone takes the lead on this and puts him in jail for a very long time. Now with the internet, I can only hope he will be stopped and placed in jail. PLEASE do your homework!
