Looks like this midgety weasel is screwing over all kinds of people left and right. Tony contacted me on Facebook wanting to set up a photo shoot with me. I had never heard of him, but he seemed to know a lot of people in the Portland fashion scene, so I decided to meet up with him. When we met, he told me about all these brilliant conceptual ideas he had. Then he asked me if I knew Richard Rocco. I didn't know him personally, but I was friends with him on Facebook and was familiar with his modeling. Tony told me he was the sole contributor to Rocco's success and that he had created an algorithm guaranteeing popularity in social media. The algorithm idea made no sense to me whatsoever, but I thought if his photos got Rocco that kind of attention, maybe it could do the same for me. The photo shoot wasn't thought out well at all, even though we did several different things, and I had a few wardrobe changes. And the amount of time spent shooting seemed really short. It felt like he was just winging it and hadn't put any prior thought and effort into it. He directed my poses the whole time and gave me really flirty compliments. At the end of the shoot, he was trying desperately to hook up with me. I mean, all tact and charm went right out the window. Although there wasn't much to begin with anyway. He kept telling me that most of the shots he got of me were amazing and that he would have a hard time selecting just a few from all of them. He insisted that if I added them to my portfolio I would be signed by an agency right away. After I got my images from him, I showed them to every agency around Portland and even emailed them to several other agencies in California and New York. I was literally laughed at. Not just for my modeling, but for his work as a photographer. No one believed my photos were professionally done. I had several other photographers in town look at them, and they cringed. They told me Tony only does photo shoots with girls to hook up with them. I mean, they explained his game plan exactly the way it happened to me. Luckily, I didn't do anything with him. I wanted to keep it professional. On top of that, he's like a foot shorter than me and really scrawny. But I guess I still should have seen through the act he put on. He also talked a lot of crap about other Portland photographers. He made it sound like he was the best of the best and everyone else was irrelevant. Take note: no real professional bad mouths other professionals in order to make themselves look good. A person's work should speak for itself, and his certainly didn't and doesn't. I'm ashamed to have experienced this, but aside from this report, I have convinced a lot of other girls to stay away from him. Period. And I'll continue to use my embarrassing experience to try to prevent others from going through the same humiliation.
