PATRICK & QURESHI, PLLC. Reviews

Here is my story with these guys. I hired these guys in July 2d 2015. They charged me 70% of the total cost of my case. I provided them with all the documents they told me that they needed. Six months passed by and I didn't receive a call updating me on the status of my case. I called Mr qureshi several times for a month and he couldn't answer any of my question. Finally after six months I got to set up an appointment with him and turns out that they didn't even have the form filled out. So the time of the appointment I spent it helping the Secretary filling out the form and Mr qureshi was there for not even five minutes. Another two months passed by and I called several times again. He said he couldn't give me and update in my case because he wasn't in the office, another time we was on vacation , another time he had an emergency. I got tired of chasing them around and hired another lawyer. This lawyer did in a month twice the work this Patrick and qureshi did in 8 months. So I ask them for a refund and the they said that they couldn't give me a refund because of the "amount" of work they had done in my case and they never file anything to USCIS. They never called me to say anything not even a word about my case and all they have is a form that I basically filled out because the girl they have there that day was new and didn't have a clue about what she was doing. Now they want to keep 70% when they probably did 5% on my case. These people are a joke as a law firm. They leave cases collecting dust until you get tired of waiting and hired another lawyer. They have no shame or dignity. They lie to your face. They tell you that they are the "number one "rank on "thumtack" but what they don't tell you is that they ask for your feedback before they start your case. My advice! Get away from this people They are a scam they will steal your money. They will make you waste your time and loose your case . The embassy had no recollection of they representing me .hire someone else even a notary Will do a better job than this people. This guy represent himself as a lawyer and he has this other business aside free phone bill , and something about fitness which I assume doesn't give him time to do his law firm stuff because he uses the same phone number for all those things.

We hired these guys on July 2015, they stated our case would cost us $3,500 with a 70% down payment which we payed upon hiring them. My wife and I would call Nassir for info trying to get updates, trying to see what they needed from us to start developing our case. We always got the run arround never a straight answer other than " we are working on it, please make your monthly payments" or "set up an appointment to disscus it" yet the appointments would be rescheduled all the time. He only offered appointment times convenient to him not us. Finally in November 2015 we got a meeting with Mr. Nassir. We thought we were going to talk about the approach we were gonna take with our case. But no this was just to fill out the form that we needed, the form that we hired them to do for us back in July. And it was just now being worked on in November. So Mr. Nassir sat us down with one of the secretaries which was new and didn't know anything she struggled through the whole thing. At a point she had to get help from the other receptionist even calling Mr. Patrick and he said "NO" right in front of us. But finally the girl filled out the form, and that was it. She basically did something my wife could have done or we could have done over the phone. Nassir left Patrick couldn't be bothered and still no one could tell us what was the next step in our case. In December I called Mr. Nassir to check on the case. He told me I shouldn't call so much that they are doing their job. He then went on and stated how when he needed a lawyer a while back for one of his clients for a patent he never called the lawyer once, he just let him do his thing. Then he went on to say don't forget you hired the number 1 lawyers on thumbtack. I found all this weird and odd. I told my wife and she was upset, because of that, and because she had been calling Nassir for information on a counselor she needed to see. Finally She got that information in February 2016. She spoke with the counselor and he told her he was waiting on Nassir to get clarification on what it was he needed and he would call her back as soon as Nassir called him. My wife never heard from the conselor again. Then March 2016 came arround my wife never got a reply on an email she had sent to Nassir on February 25, 2016, so she basically had to call and text him non stop to get an appointment. He gave her an appointment and asked her to please forward her stament to him. She asked him what happend to the statement I gave to you in November? He said it was lost because of the computer update they did in December. But why didn't anyone call or email us to send this again? If they were working on our case so diligently why didn't they request her statement again?? Well we finally went for our appointment on March 18, 2016 at 10am. We were the first ones there the receptions was late. It wasn't even 2 minutes when she tells us Nassir had an emergency and was not going to make it. And Patrick wouldn't be in the office till 12. We were furious but calmly asked for our porfolio. My wife had created a portfolio in Agust 2015 with information they were going to need on her. We asked the receptionist for it she said it wasn't in the office. She said Nassir probably had it because he takes cases with him to work at home. At that point they were fired as far as we were conserned. We did go back at 12 and spoke with Patrick. He was very confussed as to what had happend to our case. He said he looked at it and all the forms were filled out and it looked ready. He couldn't really explain what happend, he was lost for words. My wife asked for her portfolio which he miraculously found behind the lying receptionist. Also how did he look at our file if according to the receptionist Nassir took it home? Those receptionist have no clue on what is going on and can't ever give you a straight answer just like their bosses. Before Patrick handed the portfolio to my wife he opended it and made a comment how it was very well organized. And didn't know what happend and he would get with Nassir. At that time I told him while we waited to see him since 10 am we had already hired a lawyer and were not going to continue with him. We stated we wanted a refund and he said he would get back to me with that. Come Monday March 21, 2015 my wife calls Patrick asking for the refund. He then asked her how much did she think they should keep for their services. She was baffled and confused by that she told him She would need to talk to me and we would call him back. We spent the next 2 and half weeks calling and calling the receptionist just kept saying she would give him the message. I don't know of she ever did or he just didn't care. Meanwhile all that is happening my wife was furious and decided to leave a bad review on FaceBook. Then I managed to get a hold of Nassir who was very upset with what my wife had done. I asked him about the refund he said to me "how do you expect to get a refund when your wife is leaving bad reviews?" He asked me to talk to my wife and they were going to talk to their "accountants" about our refund. Throughout all this my wife is calling and calling for Patrick always being told the same thing by the receptionist. Until finally one day he answered, he told her they had sent us a letter to wait for it and call back once we get it. When we finally got the letter it was just to inform us they were not going to give us a refund. We were very upset of course and I called Patrick and surprisingly got a hold of him. I told him I am a fair and square kind of guy and I wanted at least half of what we gave him. I did let him know my wife wants to take this to court and he said he would call me back. I asked him if he was really gonna call me back or was he lying to me? I told him if he wasn't going to call me back to just tell me because I don't like this back and forth lying games. He then said if I don't call you, you call me. This was all 2 weeks ago today's dates is April 15, 2016. Both my wife and I have been calling and of course the lying receptionist don't know anything and Patrick is hiding behind them. This is our whole ordeal our true story. These people are scammers. Nassir is not a lawyer who leads you to believe he is. We went through his FaceBook account and have concluded that our case was forgotten because Nassir has different side businesses he attends to. Clearly they dropped the ball and want to keep our money too. It is not fair and we will seek legal counseling on this matter. Is not about the money anymore is about principle. It's to make the point that they can't do this to people. They are not above the law one of them is not even a lawyer!
