This company pretends it is associated with the passport office hence their name "PassportUSA". It is easy to be confused since when searching for information their site pops up first before the REAL site ("travel.state.gov"). I wasted two weeks while waiting for my renewal passport only to find out that I did not actually submit any payment to the state department.
DON"T BE FOOLED by this scamming company. All the information needed to renew a passport is found for FREE at travel.state.gov. Lesson learned (READ THE DISCLOSURE ON THE TOP OF THEIR PAGE!)
Thought I was taking care of the passport application fee online. Still had to pay when I got to the post office. Been weeks and I'm still waiting for my money back. This is a shady website and not valid.

I am 64 years old and embarrassed I fell for thisI filled out the forms, (same identical forms you can get for free at the actual official .gov site. Deception. Website suggests you are applying for a passport but they only fill out a pdf for you to mail in. $38 to fill a pdf.
