Overnight Prints Reviews

  • Dec 19, 2019

I sent them professionally-created business card artwork created by a national company whose business is this kind of service. They do thousands of them a year so their final product is perfect.

Paid Overnight Prints to do business cards for me. Uploaded my artwork to their site which showed it looking perfect.

Sadly the cards I received were awful. The bottom cuts were crooked showing a crooked white strip. On about half the cards there was a very wide white strip along the right side where they'd mis-cut them. Along the top the cut looked like it was done with scissors or a cutter with a dull blade.

In the end the cards were unusable and unprofessional.

I sent them three different photos showing the awful quality. Their response was that the artwork was bad. It wasn't bad, it was perfect and professional. They refused to take care of their poor quality or refund the simple $24.95.

Avoid these guys. Pay someone more to get real quality. I took a shot, took a gamble, and it was a mistake I won't make again with these guys. I suggest you do likewise.

They wouldn't reprint the order, printed in 7pt font... asked them 6 times chat, phone and email.. specfically said NO WE WILL NOT FIX THIS.

I disputed with my credit card company. Never ever again. Try your local shop or Vistaprint.com

Worst. Company. Ever! I ordered 500 business cards which were delivered to me unusable. The print is so light they're unreadable. They were printed with grey ink rather than black ink as submitted. I immediately contacted OvernightPrints and was told to submit a photo of the business card to [email protected]. I submitted the photo on Friday, January 26, 2018. On Wednesday, January 31st I sent another email to [email protected] asking for an update. Crickets from overnightprints.com. I have since ordered business cards from Vistaprint and am awaiting their arrival. Because of overnightprints.com complete incompetence, I have lost almost 2 weeks of marketing time for my new business. I have returned the unusable business cards to overnightprints.com and will be contacting my credit card company for a full refund.

What a horrible, horrible company. I ordered a huge amount of brochures from these ripoff artists. When I received them, although they weren't great, I was happy enough with them. I checked through the first 50 or so and all were okay. Fast forward 10 or 11 months after I've been actively sending these out. I open one up only to find that the inside of the brochure contains someone else's info. Yikes! I don't know how many I've sent out this way.

I contact the company thinking surely they stand behind such a ludicrous error no matter the timing since who opens every single of a thousand brochures to check them when they get them? They did not even respond to the online form so I called. They claim to have emailed me, but there is no email to be found in my inbox, junk, or spam, so I'm doubting that. They basically said "too bad". They would do nothing about this. So here I am with unusable brochures that I spent a lot of money on. Stay far away from these jokers. There are much, much better companies to work with!

I have used this business a few times, each time they never made the deadline and my first 2000 business cards were good and I reordered a few times, must not been enough for them to value my business. I now run another business and created new cards. The proof online was good the card filled the entire area their website said was safe. When I got them the print was tiny and they cant be read at all. I contacted support right away online, they had me in a chat session for 25 min that lead to take a photo on 8 to 10 of all the cards and send it to them. I did and I followed up online with the issues. Not a single reply for a week. Then I sent another request and they asked for the order number, which they had over and over. Then I never heard from them again. Their customer service is the worst I have experienced, I run 2 businesses I know what customer service is, so don’t risk printing here for one and next they don’t value repeat customers. I didn’t ask for anything free, I needed by business cards. Overnight prints is a joke.

We have used this company for over a year and spent thousands with them. Until the last few months, their service was decent. Now, however, they have fallen off the precipice. We placed our most recent order on Sept. 21st and were promised a Sept. 30 delivery date. These were post cards advertising a customer/prospect workshop. As of October 10, we still had not received the cards, so we contacted the company. After multiple tries, we finally received a response that the order was "lost in production", whatever that means. They promised a reprint and that the order would be delivered on October 14th. Needless to say, we did not receive it. We received a form email on Monday night, Oct. 17, stating that the order had been delayed and was now shipping.

Given the length of the delay and the fact that our event is next week, we now have no use for the postcards. The order was placed nearly a month ago. We respectfully requested a refund of the $260 we were charged for the order. They simply would not respond at all. They could not be reached by phone, online website chat feature or email to discuss it. They finally responded/contacted us after we filed a negative review on Yelp. They continue to promise that they will have a supervisor contact us, but that has not occurred. Further, another of their reps has now told us they are willing to refund $18 - basically the difference in the shipping cost they incurred for having to send it overnight, as opposed to doing it right the first time.

After reading the reviews of this company of late, along with the reports on this site, I now understand. We print a large run of postcards on an almost monthly bases, so this has been a steady income stream for them. However, we will not be using this company for any further business and have, instead, moved our business to Vistaprint. In fact, we have already begun placing orders with them and have solid delivery dates in hand. So far, they have lived up to everything they have promised. Their prices are a bit higher, but it's worth it to know you are actually going to get your product and get it when you need it.

If you have difficulty with this company, you can contact the owner at: [email protected]. This is a valid email address as of today.

I ordered 100 glossy, color, two-sided bookmarks. The materials were date-sensitive. The order arrived two days after the promised delivery date, and contained another customer's product.

The on-line chat is an AI bot, and totally useless. Call and you're on terminal hold. I submitted a request for refund via email. The reply asked for scans of the shipping label, scans of the contents, and copies of the original order and original art submitted. The process was tedious and time-consuming.

The only recourse options offered were Reprint the Order (now useless) or Receive a Credit (not very helpful given I'll never use them again).

They reprinted the order, which again arrived two days after the promised date, and the contents are printed on one side only. Totally useless.

I went to overnightprints.com to order business cards for all members of the company. While on the site I "chatted" with 2 different people on different occasions requesting help on having my design reach the bleed mark. Both times the people were not helpful and seemed unknowledgable of the design feature of the website anyway. One told me that the uploader will accept a pdf when it obviously was only allowing a jpeg. The other gave some bogus instructions. So, I saw on the final preview that my design will still look good without the bleed mark. It is perfectly centered and square. I'll take it. However, when I received the cards there is not 1 card printed correctly. The back of the cards are off center and some are even cut where I can see color from the next card cut off onto the previous one! Horrible job. Sloppy. Lazy. Terrible. I contacted them and demanded a reprint. After uploading photos of the cards I stated that a refund is acceptable. I was told that my request was denied since I did not pay extra for a design review that would catch errors before printing. After pointing out that it was not a design error- the final preview was perfect and the reviewer would have caught nothing because it is a printing and cutting issue, not a design issue, I was told that they are allowed a margin for cutting to be wonky I guess although business cards are small and the tinest shift makes a huge difference. These cards are completely unusable! It is a crap job. And I intend to be compensated for horrible service.
