Had to cancel my creditcards to prevent fraud

My creditcard company called me about a possible fraudulent charge. The charges where from a bank in Malta that Orcamedia is using to scam people on this fake site. Like me, you may have to cancel your cards to stop them from continuing to charge you monthly.

I was looking for puzzle books on line and came across a website that said it was free but I had to register.

It asked for a credit card for "future" purchases but that I would not be charged for anything today.

At the end of the registration I was informed that it was a 5 day trial. When I hit the "terms" a blank box opened.

I called to cancel right away and discovered I had been charged for a donation to UNICEF.

I was told everything would be cancelled and I would get a refund.

I never clicked on anything saying I agreed to pay for anything.

Same thing happened to me

I found them via google because they advertized an e-book that could be downloaded for free. The gave a free trial period but needed a CC for age verification. They didn't have the book & charged my CC for the UNICEF even though I immediately cancelled my account.

Orcsmedia are criminals

i wanted to watch a kickbox fight on the internet. i clickt on a livestream site. The side was from orcsmedia. I had to fill in my creditcard number to het afree trial.

The trial was for 5 day's. They said that i won't be stuck on anything. and today they hold in 39 euro's from my account. i hope to get my money back, and tell it further. These are pure criminal's who can also put you in trouble. Because if i know who's behind this, i would want to meet these people.

Orcsmedia

Never heard of it never signed up for it. My cc company called me asking if I made a purchase. I said no I never heard of it. They cancelled my card and sent a new one. So apparently you don't even need to go on the site at all. If they get your number it'll be used. Netspend caught the fraud, notified me and fixed it. Thanks ????

I had signed up for website online that had puzzles and books, registering and giving bank details for future purchasing insisting that i wouldn’t be charged for anything.

A few month lasted i started being charged for something i was no longer subscribed to. These people have been scamming for this for months and months on end.

Concerned but maybe a relief.

I got a message on my phone telling me i won an iphone and that its on its way to my house. Just need to give them my address and said i only had to pay a $1.00 and asked for my credit card info. and that i will not get charged unless i upgrade. Never heard if this company, They say they have an encryption security technology, and that they employ secure socket layering(SSL). To encrypt my personal infornation. Should i consider this as a scam.
