I purchased two one vanilla debit cards on 06/30.I loaded both with money for bills.I loaded one with $500 to pay my car note. The very next day money was gone!I hadnt even used the debit card yet. Both cards already gave me so much trouble activating.I called the next day i got it about using the card online and the rep stated it couldnt be used outside of the US.Yet somehow without me using it and never providing my card info to anyone else except to the phone rep the crook was able to take $500 out with no notification to me.What type of bank allows a large transaction like that with no notification?!Then they tell me it will take up to 90 days to get my money back.I googled the company that took my momey.Theres no such company coming up in google results or anything. This is the best they can do and this is the worst experience i have ever had!Stay away from purchasing from this company!

On June 28, 2018, I purchased a OneVanilla MasterCard at my local Walmart for $222.95 to purchase items on line. Reading the literature it said to wait 24 hours to make purchases. This is the electronic age so returning home I decided to check if my card deposit was posted. Logging in using the card number, exp date and cvv number I noticed that there was a charge to Amazon for $1.00.

I called Amazon to check on the charge and there was none posted. Called OneVanilla and asked about the charge. The customer support person was not able to help. She asked if I may have logged onto another site by mistake, I still had the webpage open and read the address off to her. She told me that OneVanilla would refund me the $1.00 but it would take at least 24hrs.

Something didn’t feel right to me so I logged on to OneVanilla and was surprised to see within 30 minutes two purchases (Ikea & Sams Club) wiping out the card with the exception of $9.93. I am going to call OneVanilla customer service tomorrow but I don’t expect to get anywhere. Beware this is a SCAM.

I live in staten island. Someone charged in california. Company is stating i have to wait 90 days and send a picture ID. This company is stealing their customers money. That was the first time i ever bought one and i never will again. I call i get the runaround. Who ever i speak with will not give me their last name. This company is a scam. I filed a federal complaint

We received a gift card for $200 on a Visa card by Bancorp Bank, onevanilla.com. When we checked the amount online at www.onevanilla.com, the card showed a $200 credit. A few hours later, we tried to use the card and it was declined. We checked again online and the card showed a balance of $0, and a transaction of $200 had apparently been made by someone, definitely not us. I called customer service who, although nice enough, said our only option at getting the money back was to call the merchant that the transaction had been made at. I queried the customer service rep about this, asking several questions to no avail. I did call the supposed merchant and it was a generic answering machine. In my opinion the whole thing is a scam. I do not believe the service rep was telling the truth. I do not believe that onevanilla.com can be trusted, and took the money as soon as we went online to check. The customer service rep said that perhaps we used a slightly different website from onevanilla.com (that perhaps it was a letter off or something) and a scam, but that was not the case. It was definitely the correct website. My son is devastated, he is a college student, had worked for the money, and really needed it. Please beware. Please someone shut these people down.

I received a pre-paid credit card that was purchased at a local Walgreen's. As soon as it was registered online on the OneVanilla pre-paid visa registration site, the funds were almost immediately drained from the account. The card never left my possession and now there are zero funds there.

They Need to be stopped

My mother sent a OneVanilla prepaid debit MasterCard to my children to help with school supplies. My youngest daughter spent $3 of the $50 on the card to get some arts and crafts items. A few days later I was in the store to get some more supplies for my children for school and the card was declined. When I called Customer Service I was told of a charge of $45 that day that wasn't possible because I had the card and hadn't used it. I asked where did the charge happen and I was told they didn't know and then they said it was being held in processing with LX processing. I asked where was LX processing and could I have their number and she said she didn't know and that she didn't have their number but if they reject the transaction the money would be back on the account within 7 days and if it isn't I can refute the charge and go through the rebuttal process. After reading all these comments I realized that this company is behaving fraudulently and has made millions off of ripping off hard working people.

I purchased a $500 OneVanilla MasterCard from Walmart on 06/03/17. I went to the OneVanilla website on 06/04/17 to check the balance and register my zip code so I could use it for online purchases. The amount of $499.94 was then taken to purchase a card from giftcards.comllc on at 3:43 p.m.

I was not aware of this transaction until I tried to use the card on June 21st and my purchase was declined. When I called to check on the balance it was $.06.

I have been trying since Friday morning 06/23/17 to file a dispute and I keep being told they will send me documents to file a dispute but I have not received them yet. I've talked to 4 different people and they all tell me something different.

I had a Walmart cashier tell me they couldn't sell them at the register any more due to fraud. I wish I had not purchased the card. I'm getting the run around and I need help with what to do next.

Bad Card

I was given a OneVanilla VISA card as a gift. When I went on line to find the amount of money on the card, I got a message stating their computers were being serviced and try back later. Unfortunately I entered the card number, expiration date and three number code from the back of the card. Today I went back on line and found a phone number to call. I was told a purchase was made on the card yesterday (the day I made the inquiry) and I have a balance of 50 cents. The person I spoke to said he would do a dispute and asked for my email address, home address, and phone number. I started to get suspicious after this.....he said it could take 90 days to complete the dispute and I would receive an email of the dispute which I am to print, complete, and send back with a color copy of my driver's license or other ID. Something isn't right.

not purchacing onevanilla again

I have never had an issue with one vanilla until yesterday. I bought my card, as I do every month to pay bills. I went online last night after paying bills and decided to purchase something for my daughters knowing there was enough left. Well, I put in my info to pay for it and it didn't go through. So I went to onevanilla.com to check my balance and a transaction from something names GIFTME, INC was on there. Ive never heard it it, and I have no idea what it is. I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing onevanilla cards again.

I purchased a onevanilla prepaid visa from Dollar General in Madera ,Ca 93638, on May 11, 2017. I purchased it so that I could get my bills paid. I added $140.00 at the time of the purchase. Shortly after I got home I paid $50.00 to Comcast for my cable bill, I then went to Amazon.com to order a new replacement battery for my laptop the total was $18.97. That was it I went to take care of my housework and later that evening I knew I still had $90.00 left on my card so I was going to order my daughter some shorts from Walmart online, but I went to check my balance to see if I had been charged any penalties first and there were two items pending and my card balance was at zero. GIFTME,INC for exactly $90.00 was pending and COMCAST CALIFORNIA CS 1X $50.00 pending. The Amazon purchase wasn't there and when I checked it had been denied. I went to the onevannia website and it showed that three minutes after I paid my comcast bill is when the giftme purchase was made. That is impossible first of all I don't have a clue what giftme, inc. is I did not make a $90.00 purchase and there is no way I could have made that purchase in three minutes from my other one. It makes no sense, so I called the number on the back of my card and was told that I in fact made that purchase and if I want to I can dispute the issue and maybe I would get a response within 90 days. I am very poor I need that money and they just took it and that was that. This is completely unjustified and it makes me sick that companies are being allowed to act this way. I am screwed and broke now.

I see I'm not the only person where money disappeared from their OneVanilla Prepaid Card. Contacted the company and they said it was done by American Express - Bluebird. $210 was taken from my card. OneVanilla supposedly created a ticket and stated that it will take 90 days. Why would I have to submit my ID along with receipt and my address and phone number? There is no name on it; it's a prepaid card. I don't blindly give my ID to internet strangers. I will submit the form with receipt (proof of purchase). Nevertheless, I think it's a bigf scam!

On February 10th 2017 I purchased a OneVanilla pre paid Master Card at Wal-Mart putting 195.00 on it and paid the 4.95 fee for the card. I came home and went online to activate the card as I have done in the past however the site displayed a message that it was down for maintaince and try again later.

I did try again later and it said the same thing. I waited a few days and tried again this time it worked but told me I had a 0.00 balance! Now how could this be when I didnt get it activated?

The statement said American Express took money off this card on two seperate days wiping out the money I put on the card. I called One Vanilla they said I had to file a claim and it could take 90 days to get an answer.

This is fraud some one stole my money and according to the statement it was American Express. One Vanilla didnt do anything to help sort this out.

I purchased a One Vanilla pre paid credit card with cash. Within 24 hours the entire funds were used up and I got nothing for my cash.

They have told me I will be reimbursed, it was an error....however, after 90 days I am beginning to doubt their honesty....
