On Time Attorney Services, LLC Reviews

  • Oct 4, 2019

Antonio Green, with On Time Attorney Services LLC, was hired to deliver and file court documents with Montgomery County Juvenile Court in Dayton, Ohio. The purpose of the documents were to initiate a child custody proceeding with the court for my Daughter.

For his services, we agreed upon a price of $125 for the “rush” delivery of the documents and $15 for an advanced check fee, total of $140. Green accepted a credit card payment of $340, which included the $140 for his services, and $200 for the court filing fee.

Green did not pay the court filing fee, and did not file the documents with the court. Below is a summary of the communications between Green and me. All relevant emails have been saved as well as the corrections requested by Green, and can be provided.

On Monday March 25, 2019 at 9:52 am (Arizona Time), I emailed Green a copy of my daughter’s birth certificate and a copy of a paternity affidavit. In the email I also described the $200 in court fees necessary to file the paperwork. At 9:59 am, Green responded by stating he did not receive the PDF documents.

At 10:04 am I resent him the birth certificate and paternity affidavit. At 10:57 am Green responded saying that it was received. At 11:23 am Green sent an invoice for his services, totalling the $340. At 1:28 pm Green texted me stating he needed the original paperwork, referring to the original notarized signature pages as part of the court documents. At 2:35 pm I went to a FedEx location and overnighted the original notarized pages as requested, which arrived at Green’s locations March 26, 2019 at 8:57 am according to FedEx’s website.

On Wednesday March 27, 2019 Green made his first trip to the courthouse in the morning, when several text messages and phone calls were exchanged between Green and I. Green called me at 8:02 am (Arizona Time) and said there was a process he had to go through with the court to file the documents, and that he was waiting for an attorney at the court to review the documents prior to filing them.

A phone call later he explained to me there were corrections needed to the paperwork, and that he had marked the paperwork with the corrections needed and would email me a pdf of the corrections, which I received at 10:46 am. The corrections were minor, and could have been performed by Green, however I made the corrections myself and emailed them back to Green at 12:16 pm the same day.

Green agreed to make an additional “courtesy” trip to the courthouse to submit the corrections for no additional charge. All corrections were made perfectly, without any noticeable error, and I have undeniable proof of this claim.

On Thursday March 28, 2019 Green made his “courtesy” trip to the courthouse, and said that the documents were rejected again. He called me at 11:39 am, and in his recorded phone call to me Green states:

“The staff attorney needed copy of the birth certificate since paternity had not been established….there are also a couple more forms that need to be completed as well, and the girl that waited on me yesterday was an intern and she should have told me this stuff yesterday, so the staff attorney apologized on behalf of the new intern for not letting me know yesterday. I met today with the attorney of that actual office and she went over everything with me and apologized for not catching that yesterday. So, i’m going to send you this back and all the paperwork we have here, the birth certificate is not in here, we have everything but that…”

I responded:

“I did provide you with a birth certificate and paternity affidavit Monday March 25 at 9:52 am, and our agreed upon contract was for you to deliver those documents to the courthouse. If you don’t I will ask for all of that money back.”

Green stated:

“I can’t force them to take something that they are saying they don’t have, this is why I like to deal with lawyers, when I deal with lawyers I drop the stuff off and charge $100 per hour for my time. I waited in there almost 45 minutes losing calls on other money I could have been making.”

I responded:

“You’re saying I didn’t provide a paternity affidavit or birth certificate and I did on Monday.”

Green responded:

“There are other things in here that are missing besides the paternity affidavit that she wrote down, call her directly.”

I responded:

“Are you going to refund that money or are you going to keep it.”

Green responded:

“You actually owe me more money, I gave you a free courtesy trip down here.” At this point the phone call ended.

Antonio Green never did send me back the corrections that were needed in reference to the phone call. I emailed Green on March 29, 2019 letting him know that I had not yet received the corrections. He never responded to me, and never called me back. On Green’s website, http://ontimeattorneyservices.com/, under services he has “court filing” listed.

This would insinuate that he understands how filing court paperwork works, as he is comfortable advertising it and charging for the service. Green appeared to have missed a few key items that he did in fact receive as proven through emails sent to him. He also sounded frustrated with his inability to navigate through the court system to properly file paperwork and did not want to own up to his mistakes.

Instead, he stopped communicating with me and kept all of the money that was paid to him, of which included $200 that was meant to be paid to the court. I ended up having to communicate directly with the court myself, file the paperwork myself and pay the fee myself. Green did not perform any of the services agreed upon.

About 3 weeks after Green ran off with my money I called him to confront him. He obviously recognized my phone number, and when he answered he pretended to be someone else on the phone, his office manager Steve Lavine. I called him out and he got mad and stopped the act. FYI Mr. Green does not have an office manager, or an office.

He works alone out of his condo. Green got upset and demanded I pay him more money claiming that he charges people $100/hour for his time, something I never agreed to. It is also nowhere near what a typical process server makes. I asked for any proof that I am obligated to pay him $100/hour and he did not respond. Be VERY careful doing business with this man.
