Omega auto care called me about buying a warranty for my car very strong sales pitch I talked to two people and they both tryed to force me into a warranty I told them I wanted to read the reviews of there company they said ok I went to the review section on omega and you can't read any reviews it's like they have all been blocked I couldn't read any thing about the company except what they wrote about themselves I don't know about you but I think that's a sign of a company trying to hide something red flags all over the place I will not be doing business with a company that blocks out customer reviews you should be able to see what customers have to say good or bad but nothing isn't going to work. Think twice before doing business with this company. Now if I can stop them from calling me every day that would be great...

Same Situation-this is a scam!

I told the rep that I am not willing to make a decision on the spot and would like to look everything over before committing. He thanked me for my time and hung up. CLEARLY A SCAM. What legitimate company would not let you look over the terms and coverage on paper before signing up for something???

Uptight company

OCT 17 2016.

I have several calls of solicitation from Omega Auto Care aka Motor vehicle services. When I try to get further information to report their unprofessional contact with potential clients, they become defensive and rude. They are usually the ones to hang up on me when I ask for more information. This leads me to believe they are a scam. Regardless they are rude and unprofessional. When I tell them I already have a warranty they hang up on.me also.

I would never do business with a company that hangs up on a potential customer. RED FLAG!!!

Scam?/

So, I'm on the federal do not call list, but they call anyway. I give them fake name and fake automobile information. Play with them a little. Car I own is still under warranty. Truck I own is so old, I would never have a warranty.

Caller takes some basic information and passes me to an authorized agent. Agent gets some information and sends me to someone to verify coverage since it has "lapsed". They ask basic questions about condition and modifications and with no evidence that the car even exists, pass me back to the agent to sell me the contract.

Sounds very professional, like I'm talking to my insurance company.

I'm quoted $640.60 a year for a 2002 Toyota Corolla with 74,000 miles on it. Total due would be $3203. Trade in value is $824 to $1389, $2085 if selling to private party according to Kelly Blue Book. So why wouldn't I just junk the car if the transmission goes out if the car is only worth a thousand dollars?

I did read about the scam while online reading their "sample" contract. They won't give me an actual contract to review without a down payment. Who in their right mind would authorize payment without actually reviewing the contract?

Then I got tired of wasting time at work and told him I don't have a Toyota...

Call me back you bozos and I'll toy with you some more.

Here is the sample powertrain agreement. http://www.omegaautocare.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/ENSAKPT0615-Agreement_powertrain_Sample.pdf

It was good for 20 minutes of fun.

Complete SCAM!!!

I was polite enough to listen to their offer, since they told me I couldn't hang up I placed them on a quick hold. I called my dealer and they told me these are often scams.

As soon as I got back to the call and told them I didn't want to purchase, the representative started speaking in an aggressive manner and just hung the phone up. Clearly not a professional company. So glad I didn't give them any of my information!!!

When Omega Auto Care contacted me on March 28, 2016 I felt pressured to make a deposit right away. They wouldn't allow me to validate their claims that my warranty had expired. I was told I couldn't hang up or I would miss out on this opportunity. I was told I could cancel within 30 days if I changed my mind. I didn't feel comfortable so I canceled it on April 7,2016. Well I tried to cancel but a very Rude agent told me I couldn't do it over the phone so I asked to speak with a supervisor which was even more rude to me. I sent a cancellation letter first class mail which was received on April 13,2016. I called again May 7,2015 at 4:48 The man I spoke with said it can take up to 30 days for the refund. Every time I called each person was rude and was worse. Now it's going to be almost 90 days and I have yet to receive my refund or even a phone call to explain the delay. The the worst thing is they continue to bill my credit card. Today June 13, 2015 I called again and spoke to an agent called Matt O'Brien and he now tells me that he doesn't know why they haven't cancelled it and that my file have no cancellation information. I am so tired of the run around this company has be going through. This is a disrespect to consumers. I have all the documentation and still no refund.
