I saw an article online that Joanna Gaines developed this great skin care line and was offering free samples. For just the cost of postage you could try this product. I tried the product filling out the form and agreeing to pay 4 dollars and some change each for two samples to be shipped. almost immediately I got an email from my bank telling me that a charge suspected to be fraud was made to my account and to contact them. I called my back and the two $4 shipping charges showed up as legitimate charges and with it a charge for some skin product from another country for $40 ish and that was the charge that was flagged as fraud. So, being the nieve person I am, I let the bank know that it was not a product I ordered, it wsas indeed a fraudulent charge, but the two samples from a different company that showed up as legitimate were ok. My co- worker had order this sample the week before so when I went into work Monday, I immediately told her about the fraudulent charge on my account when I used my card to order the free sample. She immediately checked her card and found charges for over $200 from the company that sent her the free sample. She immediately called her credit card company who told her that she was charged for some kind of subscription. I immediately called the Nuluxe to tell them about the fraudulent charge and that I wanted no parts of any other charges from them as subscription etc...and told them about my co-workers charges. Nuluxe rep (Crystal) told me that all my co worker had to do was call them and that they in no were responsible for a compromised card. They assured me that there would be no further charges for my free samples. Lo and behold, eve though my card was replaced they managed to charge my account $85.95 and $89.95 thwo days age as they pay visa extra to obtain new card information for "subscriptions". I immediately called my bank who is filing fraud and attempting to deal with this. I called Nuluxe back and reminded them that we spoke the first business day after my order of "free" samples and was told that there were no other charges and that all my co worker had to do was call them and that they understood that I did not want to be a part of any subscriptions etc etc....and that they need to credit my account the money the took fraudulently and Crystal refused stating she had no intentions of crediting my account. My bank tells me that they advertise free samples and then actually charge you for the samples...that is how they get away with it. I have found a similar ad for nuluxe free trial with no mention of any subscrition or other charges anywhere (minus the lies about Joanna Gaines). then I found what evidently they are correcting to since they are being flagged as fraud...and that is "order the product, try it for two weeks and then pay for it". That is not the ad I ordered te "free sample" from and it is not the ad my co-worker ordered from. They sold us free samples for the price of shipping. Now they are trying to charge an outrageous amount of money for these products that are so bad I would have never ordered them after the free sample. Their product is so bad that they have resorted to fraudulently respresenting Joanna Gaines as the creator and owner of the company and charging for samples that were advertised ad free plus shipping. Do not do business with this company and if you find yourself in this position file as many complaints and charges as you can so that we can put this company out of business and stop this deceptive practice.

I purchased the trial size online. They charged me a total of $10.90 on October 2, 2017. They did not have a small print stating that you had tyo cancel 7 days before the shipping date in the small print. I read it carefully. But just in case, I sent a letter on October 10, 2017 to the address on the package requesting no more products be sent and no more charges to my account.

On October 16, 2017, they charged my account $89.95 for Inner Allure and $89.95 for Skin Beauty. Now this is not what was advertised- Nuluxe was the trial size that I ordered.

On November 15, 2017, they charged my account $91.90 for Inner beauty and $94.90 for Skin Beauty. On December 15, 2017 they charged me $91.90 for Inner Allure and $94.90 for Skin Beauty.

I called them on 12/27/2017 and spoke with a customer service rep named Jay. I asked him to refund me my money and I told him not to send me anymore products. At that time he told me that I was required to notify them 7 days prior to shipping of the product. How would I know when the product would be shipped out. My letter sent on October 10, 2017 should have taken care of that.

The problem with notifying them is that you can't get a hold of them. Even my bank tried to locate them using the names on my account and she couldn't locate Skin Beauty.

This was a rip off. They got me for $549.80. I plan to do everything I can to get my money back. The product doesn't work.

Upon their ad i wanted a "free" trial that cost me $400!!! working out of town punished me. Trial charged me $90+ and "renewal" membership was in fine print. In box never opened they will not accept returns. You're s o l. These people are scam artists. Con artists. They know you will just click accept terms and conditions without reading. These people are fraudulent. What pisses me off most was the last offer after trial product. There was a button that offers you to look and by clicking you are selecting. This is pure fraud. No unclicking allowed. No consumer # offered. Finally found it in . Product worked at best as good as moisturizer after 3 weeks. I had to try because lord knows i can't sell it for $90 a bottle. They only could sell it to me fraudulently. Stay away from nuluxe skin care!!!!!!!!!

I requested a free "sample" and paid a small shipping charge. I was billed $89.95. When I complained, they said I should have canceled. I could not find such terms on their website which they claimed I should have seen. They refused to credit my account and said they do not accept returns. This certainly appears to be a scam.

xFinity offered an introduction to NuLuxe as a prize - I signed up for introductory offer at 4.95 for facial and under-eye creams. Never saw the very tiny print about auitomatic $97.18 mbnthly charge for the facial cream and $91.90 for the $94.90 for the eye cream. After surprise shipment arrived, called NuLuxe and after arguing with phone tech, got a supervisor - flatly refused to refund stating it was all on the webpage I endorsed and the 14-day period had expired. Did give a 35% refund.

I looked at the webpage and found buried at the bottom of the sign-up page the very fine "gotcha" print. I did overlook the hook. But the charge for the two products is more than outrageous. Others have found the same products on Amazon for $33 andf $34.00. RIPOFF TIMES TWO.

Plus, the cresams are not effective. RIP OFF THIME THREE.

Hidden Policy Loopholes/Unfair Business Practice

As others have indicated, the business practices of this company are not consumer friendly and may, indeed, be fraudulent. I ordered a trial or sample of their skin care cream and an eye care serum (which was promoted as an enhancement to the skin care line) for $9.95, the price quoted for shipping. Nothing in the ad spoke of an auto-fill or cancellation requirement. Subsequently, I noted a charge for $89.95 for the cream and $85.95 for the serum on my credit card.

When I called to ask for a refund or return information, I was told that in their terms and conditions, to which they said I had greed, I was to cancel in 14 days or would be billed full price. The supervisor with whom I spoke insisted this was true and that no refund nor return (for health reasons!) was available. Since I am cautious about this type of sales gimmick, I had looked carefully without seeing any such terms. She said if I didn't remember the terms and conditions, a copy is on their website. I never could find this. Plus I note on Amazon.com the SAME size and packaging for this cream and serum sells for $34.00 and $33.00 respectively. BIG RIP OFF!

Which again was only to be charged for only the one time shipping cost of the free trial product..Its sad to say but this has happened before when they billed me four times for some other cream at 99.00 a jar only refunded me the fourth jar free because they know they are doing this unbeknowing to the customer. They did refund me 47.47 but they'd already screwed me for 2 payments of 89.99..I can't tell you how upset this was to me.. I am a widow of six years and don't have money to give to such a dishonest company.

Paid 4.99 for a sample to be sent. 4.99 was for shipping. My debit card was then charged multiple times for85.00 dollars. I called, they were quite rude and said they would stop charges but could do nothing about current charges. Debit continued to be charged. In all spent 5plus hrs dealing with these thieves.
