I purchased a trial online for novaderm for $4.95. Nowhere on the site did i read there would be additional charges. When i received the product here was no information about calling to cancel prior to avoid additional charge. I called when charge appeared on my account. They were extremely rude. Offered 25% discount which stated was unacceptable. I persisted and they offered 50% discount. I requested to speak with supervisor. Al stated the supervisor would. It be as lenient but i was transferred to bruno. He was very rude but offered 75% refund. I continued to request a full refund. Bruno ended up hanging up on me. I called immediately back. The girl looked at notes and stated i should just take the 75% refund. I explained i was looking online at the site about all the claims. She stated that she didn't have to issue a refund " i was going that route". I told her i wanted the refund but she wants me to state i would not file a complaint., which i would not confirm. She place me on hold and came back stating bruno had left me a voicemail stating i would get a full refund.

I was purchasing a free tril and after I had given my debit card no. it begin adding other items and did not give you an option of refusing them and on last page sayed they would ship more and bill me automatically . there was no info where to call so when I got a confermation email I emediatly phoned the number at bottom of page.

4/2/2016 10 :25 PM minutes after order . I talk to a representative named Christian and cancelled the order.

Next morning there was 29.99 debited from checking account 4/3/2016, This morning there wer 4 different amounts debited from my checking account 4/4/2016 = $494 , $4.99, $4.99 , $4.99 , $4.95 for a total of

$54.85 . I have called customer service 3 times and got variuos excuses such as first rep didn't cancel right.

They are suppose to refund the money in 5-10 business days . I am on Social Security and as a fixed income and can't afford to

loose that money or wait ten days if I get it then. This is computer fraud preying on trusting people .

Their site even said they were a trusted site with your info . Wellll Probably not !

I had looked at the site as it was a POPUP on my screen. Even got to the checkout page and decided not to order because they wanted to send an eye cream as well with additional shipping and handling fees. I did not approve the additional product, so I left the page without submitting, because I could not figure out how to delete the additional product. However, the trial product came in the mail anyway, charging my account for shipping twice, one for each item.

I called the company and told them that I did not order these products but was met with a very rude woman who would not listen to me and constantly said the same thing over and over as if I did not hear her the first time that she said it. She constantly interrupted me and told me that I would have to pay to return the product if I wanted a refund, which did not seem fair since I did not request the product to begin with! She refused to refund my account for $89.94, unless I returned the product.

Nova Derm is a company bent on scamming the public, snatching their account numbers from the website tricking people into believing that they will only be charged $4.95 for shipping, when they are only getting your account # to charge you the full amount of the product anyway. Nothing was FREE! Absolutely, NOTHING was free! And they add an additional product onto any order you might want to place with or without your authorization.

Definitely a scam

Going through what so many others have gone through. I still have not received any credit on my charge card.

I haven't even tried their product. It's still in the box.

Well actually I was ordering from two different companies, even though it does not state "anywhere" that is what is happening. I was not aware until two different charges from two different companies showed up on my bank statement. Now be aware that you must cancel your account with both companies, not just the one you ordered through or you will continue to receive and be charged for what product you did not cancel. On one products "terms and conditions " shows the amount you will be charged, the other does not, well as I was told by customer service, you will be shown AFTER you have ordered and entered payment information. One company states they allow 4 days shipping time, but that is included in the 14 day trial. Since it arrived while I was on vacation, I actually only had 5 days to try the product, all the time thinking I had 30 days (my mistake by assuming that a reputable company usually allows that much time). Magic Face Therapy was very insistent that it my responsibility read the fine (very fine) print. Basically, the terms and conditions cover their a-- I'm guessing because they want to get their money, rather than be concerned about producing a good product. Bottom line is, I was charged over about 188.00 for 1 oz. combined of face cream. When I told both companies that this a scam and they have many customers that are very unhappy and there is even a page on the Internet warning people, after the brief silence, again I got an "I'm sorry". I will give credit where credit is due. Nova Derm did offer a "partial refund". So once again, girls and guys "BEWARE!!! For the young lady I spoke to at Nova Derm, thank you again for your help and I am truly sorry, as you said you deal with these same complaints all day. But a girl has to make a living! Even if she knows it's a RIP OFF!

I ordered a free sample of face cream from Magic Face Therapy. It turns out that you are actually ordering from two different companies, even though they come in the same box. I canceled within the time frame only to find another charge on my bank statement for over 89.00, because I didn't cancel with both companies. I was informed by customer service that when you accept the terms and conditions for one, you are accepting for both. By the way, one company does not tell you what you will be charged until AFTER you put in your billing information. Feeling that I am not a "uninformed or stupid (as they have made me feel) person, this is nothing other than a scam, so buyer beware.
