Bought a computer from them. Arrived not working, contacted customer support and it was determined the GPU video output was not working. They gave me an option to have it refunded or replaced and I choice to have it replaced and sent that computer back to them. The second computer came in and also did not work for the same reason so I had that sent back and choose the refund this time.

They initially sent my refund but a month and a half later recharged me for the computer without contacting me and have not sent the money back after I contacted them asking for the refund.

After doing research online, it seems this is a very common scam they are running on people and I have reported them with the BBB (which could not get a response from Newegg), the FTC, and my states atorney general. I am also working with my credit card company to get a refund.

On 8/22/2022, I ordered a refurbished Apple iMac system which stated it was a 2020 manufactured system, to the best of my information. I received on 8/30/2022 an Apple iMac system, (mfgrd in 2014).

While setting up my system, I found it to be defective in that it took 2:15 minutes to see the login screen. (An Apple logo should appear in less than 5 seconds). It was meant to replace my Apple iMac, Late 2013 system.

After discovering that this system was not what I ordered and defective as well, I sought to return it for a refund of my purchase price! Later on 09/01/2022, I received a reply from Betty Springfield, Manager of Customer Service for Newegg that I could return the system (at my expense) and they would issue a refund.

I wrote back that since it was a defective system, Newegg should pay for a return shipment and refund my money that I paid for the system. Betty Springfield still insists that I pay shipping back on the defective system!

I stated that I would report the issue to my State Attorney's office in my state if Newegg did not provide instructions for the return at their shipping cost and refund my purchase price before 8/12/2022!

I recently made a purchase directly from NewEgg via their website, for a few items including a SanDisk 256GB USB Memory Stick. In the course of that I learned that one item was out of stock and seemingly listed wrong, that caused me to contact NewEgg using their chat system.

The customer service person helped me with the concern, and since the SanDisk stick was slow to ship I asked about it as well. Their dialog was odd and they finished using a strange statement ending with the use of an emoticon indicating or called "Lying Face".

The statement was "Thank you for cooperation".

So a number of problems evinced themselves:

Checking the order receipts after items shipped has them change, a form of sleight of hand.

Instead of showing the items that did not ship as being billed and then credited back, they just in fact were deleted.

The USB stick had the link to the listing on their website changed, and now pointed to the 128GB stick which was essentially the same price, +/- fifty cents or so, but of course 1/2 the storage.

What I in fact received was the 128GB and not the 256GB item. This gets into some history that either way NewEgg can't associate with me at all.

The dialog is too specific and NewEgg has too much knowledge. It relates to a marital action initiated longer ago involving an abusive spouse and the prosecution of that spouse and an annulment of the marriage.

The keywords were spoken by an attorney in the action and this was their typical way to end letters to their victim. Earlier purchases with NewEgg say in 2013, had them act as vigilantes, conspire in that set of frauds, and in effect prove their acts as being punitive based on them getting involved in the "Legal Process" if you will.

They were verbally abusive, made akin dialog foibles, admitted they are doing this intentionally, and they felt that they have the right to do this. Absurd.

So overall they knew too much, seemingly acted to aggregate the old and new accounts, which is not possible, since all my contact info has changed, and then they act this way with the claim they know me personally.

Odd how they know so much about me and these problems but get it all wrong. It of course is about the divorce laws with : "In the case of egregious harms, the notion of equitable distribution does not apply..." .

Speaking of "Shell Shockers", someone got their little egg hard-boiled. I would NEVER do biz with these bigoted felons.

Rosewill CAPSTONE 850M 850W Modular Power Supply (80 PLUS GOLD Certified)

Item #: N82E16817182386

Standard Return Policy $91.99

I received a 500-watt power supply and when I return it to be replaced they tell me they do not have that part number in their system. I really sorry you sent me the wrong item whatever the reason is. They offer me $25 to settle. No, that is not acceptable. You received it exactly how I received it. From your response the only opportunity for this situation to be corrected is via a Court of Law where I can subpoena witnesses and they can testify. The court can then make a decision. As this build was not only for me to edit my television but a show case build. As a member of New Hampshire Coalition for Community Media we were doing a show updating Public Access television stations throughout the State of NH.by building these systems themselves. Not only was I documenting this build but there were several witnesses here when I dismantled my computer and opened my brand-new Power Supply that I purchased from Newegg only to find out it was not what I ordered. If you follow the timeline of events: delivery date, chat session, date of pictures, submittal for RMA and date of return you can see that all this took place immediately. Now instead of doing a show on building computers with products that you can purchase from Newegg and other vendors and build 8k surround camera footage with Virtual Reality Editing stations. It looks like I'll be doing a show on how not to get ripped off and how to take legal action when you do. I will gladly send you a preview show. My shows are aired throughout the State of NH and then I upload on Facebook and YouTube. On social media I have been expanding my presence within the National Media, Here I thought I had a good retirement project promoting and improving Public Access Television including improving their work flow and editing capabilities by updating hardware

This is company is a joke!! DO NOT BUY!!

I purchased what I believed to be a new computer from NEWEGG.com. With only 11 days left of my warranty, the computer stopped working. Neither the seller "Lone Star Computers" AKA itoyexpress.com, or Newegg did anything to take responsibility for the sale and kept telling me to wait and that there was nothing they can do. When I did finally receive a reply from 'Lone Star Computers' they could not even construct a sentence that was understandable and flip flopped on their statements. Now I am left with a $1,600 computer that does not work!

NEWEGG ALLOW COMPANIES LIKE LONE STAR COMPUTERS TO SELL YOU ANY OLD s**t!

DO NOT BUY FROM LONE STAR COMPUTERS/ITOYEXPRESS.COM OR THEIR FRONT FACE NEWEGG.COM!!!

I sent a 14TB drive for replacement because it was DOA when I got it. Their RMA page states 2-5 days processing after they get it back. They got it on Sept. 2. They have totally stonewalled me on when this will be replaced or refunded! No amount of excuses covers this ineptness when I only live 2 states away. Aside from shipping they've still had it now for 20 days!

I talked to chat on the 17th, after their “processing center” said on Sept. 14th everything was fine and it will send out in 1-3 days, and did NOT ship out on the third day and now it’s 4 days later and still nothing! After asking for a supervisor multiple times and the agent refusing, she finally HUNG UP on our conversation because, well it was time to go they were closing. What HORRIBLE customer service!! I was HUNG UP ON by them because the stupid agent couldn’t sit and deal with the issue because it was 7 pm quitting time, and just pasted some nonsense and LEFT. OMG really?? I hope they review and fire that person.

Completely unacceptable. Newegg USED to be good, until they allowed many many 3rd party sellers on there, AND until their customer service went to $#*!. This and another recent return nightmare a few months ago have turned me completely off to them.

I will not buy from Newegg any more. I have bought it from Amazon and got it 2 days shipping already. I only bought from Newegg it was 20 bucks cheaper... and now I have 50 bucks worth of headaches and unprotected files not backed up. They are just...BAD now. Do NOT buy from Newegg, they are the worst and lie. They told me first 2-5 days after receipt, then they told me 10 more days PLUS 3-5, then the 1-3 days, and still I don’t have any indication they are shipping this back. ATROCIOUS. And now on the 20th day because still no word, I have found it necessary to open a Paypal dispute and a BBB complaint.

A person should NEVER have to deal with this for a simple return of a DOA hard drive.

Ordered a product from a Newegg marketplace seller from through the Newegg website on 5-14-2020, waited a month, no product, made a claim as per the Marketplace guarantee. Seller produces a "pre-shipment" tracking number from USPS, Newegg says oops package enroute, screw our guarantee, wait 2 weeks and file a claim, it is now 7-16-2020, 3rd claim filed. More bogus tracking numbers, no product and NO refund.

Newegg aloows sellers to use a pre-shipment tracking number to keep extending the refund because the "product has been shipped". I am number the latest of 491 other people who have beeve scammed by this seller through the Newegg marketplace.

Stay away from ANY marketplace sellers from this compny because Newegg will NOT stand by thier marketplace guarantee.

I absolutely love this company and will continue to buy all of my electronics from them. So far I have ordered an iPad and a laptop and have no issues or complaints at all.

Their customer service is phenomenal. 5 stars for sure!

I ordered a Dell PC in January 2019 and it stopped working in April 2019. Newegg would not allow me to return it or get a refund and referred me to the company they got it from, Micomp. I contacted Micomp by email, who seemed willing to fix my problem. However, after sending me multiple parts to replace and 2 hard drives, the computer still does not detect a hard drive and is unusable.

Last week Micomp told me they would replace the computer and I agreed. On the subsequent Saturday, I tried emailing them again and my emails were rejected. When I called Micomp, I was hung up on. Please someone start a lawsuit against these companies, they are not doing businesss in good faith. Newegg doesn't even have a physical address and the Micomp website is listed as not existing anymore.

Bought a $250 smartphone from Newegg a month and a half ago. It was delivered to the wrong address. I was told to order a new one while my refund was being processed. Meanwhile, I visited the house where the original phone was delivered and I couldn't get the occupants to answer the door to see if they had my phone. There was a court summons taped to the front door and after ringing the door bell numerous times someone inside turned the lights out. The place was appeared very dilapidated and felt unsafe. I decided to let it go and start the refund process.

A month and a half goes by I hear nothing. So I decide to email Newegg for an update on my refund status. They responded by basically saying that it was my fault it was delivered to the wrong address, even though the second phone I ordered made it to me fine. I called customer service and you are immediatley placed on a wait list that could last anywhere from a half hour to an hour. Which is great when you're at work and you don't have time to go through this as it is. All you want is satisfaction. Peace of mind.

I did not get satisfaction or peace of mind. What I received is cold, canned responses from the customer service department telling me there was nothing they could do. I spoke with three different people. I was so aggravated I kept asking to speak to people higher up the chain where my aggravation swelled until I was yelling at people over the phone. I don't feel good about yelling at people over the phone. But when you have someone in an unfeeling voice telling you "...I understand", it made me angrier and angrier. If they understood, I wouldn't be irate. All I wanted them to do was the right thing. I am, or was, a repeat customer. Never again. I am out $250, plus my time. My time for going to the house, my time for dealing with customer service over the phone and in emails, and my time for typing this. I'm still aggravated.

For $250 this company is willing to end a relationship with a customer who has purshased electronics in the past. Who does business like this?

I've personally never experienced anything like this before. I never have problems like this. I am not the type of person to go on the internet and write a report. I don't even write good reviews let alone bad ones. Think about how bad of an organization you have to be to motivate someone who doesn't do this sort of thing to sign up for an account just to post a miserable experience. I'm sorry but I feel like this is my only recourse. This is the only power I have.

Please save yourself the money and aggravation and stay as far away as you can from Newegg.

Ordered $650 dollars worth of computer equipment from newegg business, says it was delivered, never received anything.

Filed a claim on 6/14, says it will take 7- 10 business days. 11th business day goes by, no response, no update, nothing. Contact customer support and they tell me theyre waiting on a police report because its over $500 dollars before they can do anything. Do they want me to lie to the police? I don't even know if it was stolen or not. The only thing I do know is I ordered something and i didnt get it. If this is how they treat business customers, I would hate to see how they treat regular customers. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Dues pc / newegg.com Newegg let this seller advertise a laptop as 6th CPU when the 6th gen product family was released. This means that if you search for a 6th gen device it shows up. This wouldn't be a problem if the same seller didn't have 430+ laptops advertised based on the product release generation. I returned my laptop unopened and was charged a 250+ restock fee. I have to think this was the intention of misleading the public. When I asked Newegg to refund the restocking fee they denied it. So to me that says they support this type of activity. So I closed my account and I wanted to make sure others were aware. I had been a newegg customer since 2004 but I guess its time to move on to B&H or even Amazon where they care about their customers more. city of industry CA

I bought an hp officejet 4500 with a 4 year warranty through newegg, provided by action packaged, inc. The package arrived, looking like it had already been opened and returned. I wrote newegg about the appearance; crickets. The alignment function didn’t work, i told newegg; crickets.

I contacted action packaged, inc and was told to leave my email address; crickets. I called hewlett-packard about the warranty. Hewlett packard didn’t have the serial number or product number registered. This has cost me $500.00 and i will not let it go.

They got too big to give a d**n about their customers. Not the first time they ignore my request. I really hope they go under . A company with such rotten customer service should be boycotted by every self respecting person.

  • Jan 11, 2018

Newegg.com is a complete fraud. They sell many products with rebates, one of the few lowlifes that still do, and they process them through their own 4myrebate.com. The routinely falsely deny a huge portion of these rebates knowing people will not follow up or do not keep copies. They do this to delay or refuse paying the claims. This is fraud, plain and simple. Their customer service is a joke. Their chat hold times are hours, and they lie and BS through Social Media. The WORST company for customer service on the planet. Recommend you avoid these pathetic disgusting thieves at all costs. Even when you submit ALL the required info, and provide them proof, they still refuse to pay. Just scum

Company is not processing a refund or exchange. They only want to accept a return if I can prove the item is defective. They shipped the wrong item. Contacting customer service has taken days. What makes this worse is that it is the only Christmas gift for my teen son. I foolishly trusted this company with all of my funds for his gift.

Attempted to purchase home stereo receiver after it took amex 4 hours to approve me. No ability to use card on site until the card was sent. Customer services did not want to hear that their site was broken and stated they have "no control" on the functionality of the checkout and amex doesn't place orders for them when it never stated i was being sent to another site. The new egg site just took my information and than it took 1 minute or so to display a message that they will be in contact. No further instruction or warning was given stating that i would have no ability to receive todays prices at all until i had the card in hand.

I explainted to dwight the manager @ new egg that all of their competition that offers credit card financing and monthly statement discounts allow the merchant to provide a smooth checkout procedure and new egg was being very arrogant as well as close minded. I also let them know that this process is most likely creating alot of upset customers and she did not seem to show any concern even when i mentioned Yscam.com had a quite a few complaints about checkout "bait and switch" pricing issues. A huge thumbs down to customer "no service" department at newegg.com

Purchased a monitor for a new build, after getting all the parts set up to find random artifacting, after surmising that it wasn't my GPU found that the company ( ACER ) had put out that these panels were defective due to a production issue with the Panel maker that they purchase from. Wrote into to newegg and got the same "PLEASE wait " response for days, after which they'd respond back asking for the SAME INFORMATION that existed in the same body of the email, they kept this charade up till the return policy was over then told me I should have contacted them sooner. Calling in I get people that do not understand english well and then hang up apologizing because they don't understand or tell me to wait on hold so they can get someone to help me then hang up 100% consistently. HORRIBLE service, horrible support, last email response was over a week ago and still cannot get a rep, the one manager that stated they were helping me mysteriously disappeared and noone in the company knows how to find them?

They 100% refuse to help, even after posting publicly "we'd love to fix your issue" they ignored it after tossing some outdated RMA that UPS wouldn't accept since it was post 2 months expired! T They use the defense of " our customer service doesn't understand english its not their fault" to hide behind half the issues, vs correcting them! Because of this I"m screwed out of 1200$

I was purchasing an MSi GS63VR Stealth Pro 469 laptop on the newegg.com website... it was "sale" priced at $1199. I placed the item in my shopping cart and started the checkout process. Being a new customer, I had to enter all my info from scratch. Entered Shipping info, everything was still fine. After entering the billing and payment info, and was about to submit the order, the screen changed the price to $1299! Adding $100 JUST BEFORE completing the checkout. I called CS and spoke with a supervisor. And they refused to honor their own published price that was in my cart all the way through checkout. I have NEVER had an online merchant change price of an item once the checkout process has been initiated. This bait and switch practice is fraudulent and they should not be allowed to get away with doing that to customers. I was about to be a new customer... and after this experience I WILL NEVER BE A newegg customer. I feel scammed and will be sharing my experience with millions of potential customers.

Newegg.com should honor the pricing they offer and post on their website, AND especially honor the price that someone has DURING the CHECKOUT process! Do NOT BAIT and SWITCH during CHECKOUT.

This is part of a series of public awareness messages regarding this event. The public should know of this practice and beware - so they know what to lookout for from this criminal enterprise.

I purchase a dash cam online from newegg after long research it supposed to be the best and the most expensive on the market i drive for uber so I needed the camera for work before i mount the camera I was testing it to get the most benefit of it to serve my purpose after a few minute I felt the camera was getting very hot I disconnect the camera to make sure everything is connected ok was no problem connect camera again few minute later started to get hot again I left it connected longer to see what going on the camera was getting hotter and hotter disconnect the camera and contacted the seller the told that they going to contact the manufactory and they will get back to me and their respond was that is a normal for it to get hot.

Well I’m not going to spend $400.00 on something that is going to put people in danger and risk my car going on fire especially if I’m going to use the parking mode I requested a refund. They refund me around $277 and the difference is for restocking fee when I complain about it they say because was nothing wrong with the camera they tested and the box was never open. Go figure i order something sand it back they see the box not open they open it and they charge you restocking fee.

Long story short, i bought a "1-year accident protection plan" from newegg.com.

The pc broke on the last day of the contract. Not only did newegg.com And servicenet.com) refuse "coverage" but newegg.com emailed me incorrect information about where to send it for repairs.

First, they said it was covered on the phone conversation i had with them on 5/14/16. The pc obviously broke the night before so i called the following day. I was told it was covered. So they said they'd send me an email and follow the instructions there.

Well, today i got a call from acer saying they're not the right place to send it, despite the email i received. Again, long story short, this was quite obviously a way to "muddy the waters" and take extra time, at my expense, to make sure the computer was "out of coverage."

The best they offered was a $50 "gift card" - and they wanted a copy of the shipping. I told them to go stick it since they're not even covering my expenses that they had me incur due to their incorrect repair information.

I am on ssdi from a gang attack, have a bullet in my back, and bought this b.S. "insurance" because i can't afford to replace it! i could post a couple of links, but want to remain as anonymous as i can but it's all to illustrate how underhanded "extended warranties" are and how they always seem to "find a way" not to make good on their word...I swear, insurance is the one entity i trust even less than the federal government!

I'm emailed the blasphemous email to outscam...Hopefully they can post it but here's the text of it...Note #5 where they tell me to send it to the acer repair center. This is the wrong place for "extended warranty repairs" as it is; newegg.com did not i repeat they did not offer to even cover my shipping costs, but wanted a copy of my shipping receipt? Seriously? Wth would i bother then?

There are plenty of places to buy pcs. My suggestion is to not use newegg.com and most certainly never ever buy "extended warranties" from them. It is really unbelievable that they not only send me incorrect info but they won't even pay for their error? Worst place to do business with! the worst!

Get a new customer service team. They are awful and rude. Marie is the worst and gives you attitude when you are simply trying to resolve your issue. Since this company has been bought out, the services have gone completely downhill. Customer service treats you like garbage and then when you call them out on it, you get a measly 20 bucks as if that's the magic wand to fix the problem. Thinking that you can provide dog crap tier customer service and then buy back the customer is silly and would not be necessary if your team treated people like human beings. I have unsubscribed from all promotions and will not be a return customer. The only reason I will return to newegg is to further tarnish neweggs image for their laughable attempt at getting return business. Amazon happily took my money and will be getting me what newegg couldn't on time. Been a customer with newegg since 2012 (sadly) and have literally watched as my used to be favorite retailer dropped like a pooh in a toilet. I will do everything I can to make sure people know not to shop your newegg anymore.

I just made a purchase of $2,500 from newegg.com. I purchased the components to build a new 4 monitor computer setup.

They had 3 monitors that were marked as open box for $10 less than the brand new ones. I ordered all three and two came in with the HDMI cable missing, I also ordered 1 new unopened and the cable came with it, so I am missing 2 cables and I contacted customer service via chat, I chatted my concern with Harley L. I asked him to please send me the 2 missing HDMI cables and he told me that because they were open box thtey would not send me the cables, that I should have read the terms and conditions and that in them there is a clause that in an open box purchase, if you are missing anything you are on your own.

Really? after a $2,500 purchase they are willing to upset a customer over 2 cables? Shame on them!!! Plewase beware of making purchases freom newegg. com as you will be on your own when you need assistance.

Newegg’s massive fraud is much bigger than one would think. It involves hundreds of items that Newegg advertised on EBay. Not in a paid listing however but in what is caused a sponsored listing.

A sponsored listing is one where a company will place an ad at the bottom of the page of a product you were looking to buy on eBay.

They list a photo, description, and price of the item. All you do is to click on the ad and it will take you to Newegg’s webpage so you can purchase that product.

The problem however almost every link I clicked on the products price was around 40% higher than the advertised price.

I have contacted the FTC and have filed a complaint. I have contacted Newegg’s customer support and have told them as well as called them but they will not honor their advertised price of their sponsored link.

Here is just one of hundreds of examples.

If I search for Kingston DDR4 16 GB memory for a desktop computer on EBay many will come up to buy or bid on. In fact some of the paid listings on this page will be from Newegg.

I purchased a cable from Newegg for $5.99. When I received my credit card invoice the $5.99 charge was included but there was also a charge for $659. The charge for $5.99 was dated 12/29 and the charge for the $659 was dated 12/19. When I talked to the service rep he said they could not give me a credit unless the item was returned. Since I didn't purchase the item I was certainly not able to return it. I told him that someone at their company must have stolen my card number and made the purchase and I thought because of that they should credit my account. He told me that the $659 was purchased before the $5.99 item so it couldn't have been stolen by them.

The $5.99 purchase was the first and only time I have ever bought something from Newegg. It seems an unlikely coincidence that someone would have stolen my card number and used it to purchase an item from Newegg 10 days before mine unless it was someone at Newegg. I'm sure there are ways to change a purchase date if you work for the company, I worked in marketing and can assure you this is the case.

I have no way to prove this happened but I would not do business with this company, just in case.

Bought a refurbished Vizio TV from NewEgg. It came in defective. They agreed to exchange it. Took two weeks to exchange it. The second refurbished TV is defective. Sent them photos of the defects. They said it was no longer in return period, since that starts with shipment of first TV they sent. By the time I received the second defective TV, the return period was over. This is a scam. They also said that it had a 90 day Mfg warranty. I contacted the Mfg and they said it had no warranty. I just want a full refund, and not a store credit, back to my payment method, including the outrageous shipping charge. It has now been 6 weeks and I was trying to finish up a new media room prior to Christmas, which is this weekend..... This has been a nightmare.

Purchased chromebit on 11-11-16 from vendor. Received on 11-15-16.

Returned on 11-16-16 "unopened". USPS tracking to returned vendor shows received 11-18-16.

Vendor did not give full refund but charged a "restock fee" of $12.75.

Website and email from market vendor says, "no restock fee will be charged if item is unopened".

Various emails, phone calls, have proved unsuccessful in my full refund as is advertised on website.

Bad business practices, and dishonest, untrue advertising on website.

I bought a video card during the Anytime Black November Low Price Match Gaurantee, which I thought it meant the whole month.

They were selling the the same video card later that month for a lower price. When I asked about getting the price match they said they don't honor it during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale which ran from 11/21 to 11/30. The ad did not mention that they don't honor the low price match on these days. If they would of shown this on their ad, I would have waited and bought the card on Black Friday and saved myself $60.00.

Ordered 2 printers advertised as refurbished and in "working order" as stated in eBay. In subsequent checkout screen missed the without cartridge (singular), and then was directed to PayPal for payment. Was notified later that there was now was stated "no cartridges" (plural).

I notified eBay within minutes about deception and to cancel order. I was then informed that the item was out of stock and a rebate was to be credited.

Weeks passed and noticed an unwarranted $9.95 service charge on my account tagged on by Newegg.

I spent more than an hour with both eBay and PayPal representatives who both stated that Newegg unilaterally debited my account. PayPal staed that the $9.95 doesn't even show up in their accounting records.

This "service charge" is almost what the item was listed for.

I was informed that Newgg had a 1 star rating and once sold counterfeit computer chips. My subsequent research shows that 79% of Newegg's customers rate it as unfavorable.

Ostensibly, it is apparent that this company puts out deceptive ads and then bypasses online company guidelines to preclude the consumer rectifying the issue with the initiating agent.

I have contacted the BBB and filed another complaint with Consumer Affairs. I will write a letter to the California Attorney General.

I purchased a laptop on New Egg's website in December 2014. The vendor who handled the sale is Think Green PC. At the time I purchased this laptop, I also purchased a 2-year extended replacement warranty. I spent $700 on the laptop and warranty. In January 2016, the laptop refused to boot up. I contacted New Egg, who referred me to the warranty company. I used the mailing label they provided me and shipped the laptop via UPS late January 2016.

UPS tracking shows me the laptop was received by them. It has now been over 3 months and I cannot get New Egg or Think Green PC to contact me to either repair or replace the laptop. They have my laptop and my $700 while I have nothing to show for my $700 than a worthless warranty. Obviously New Egg and Think Green PC have horrible customer service. I would avoid purchasing anything from either of these 2 companies.

I Purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro, from Newegg on March 1, 2015, plus a warrenty. The total came to over 1000.00 dollars. The first macbook did not work. and I sent it back within one month. The next macbook was not running an apple operating system, that was supported by apple. So no apple support, no Safari etc. It crashed completly after three months of unreliabilty. In October 2015 I contacted newegg and asked for a refund or a store credit. They stated Over the Phone, "No". They told me I would have to deal with their warranty service provider, VT Services. I have sent the same computer to VT Servises three times now, from October to March. Not once has the computer functioned correctly. VT Services has just told me, they can no longer take back the computer, because, it is too old to run an apple Operating system that is supported by Apple. This macbook is scratched very dirty, and has dust bunnies by the internal fan, there is old electrical tape on frayed wires internally. I have lost 1000.00 dollars to newegg who sold me a defective computer.

I ordered a motor for a Profrom exercise bike and it was through an Icon Fitness reseller. The first problem is I wanted to cancel the order the next morning and they couldn't get that done. Then they misquoted the return policy, however I double-checked and made sure it was right. Then it took days to get the RMA number from the reseller. After I returned the item, the reseller never responded and didn't credit my account for over 10 days. I called Newegg and they were really lame about handling it, so I disputed the charge with my credit card. My credit card took care of it and then I got an email from Newegg saying I needed to reverse the chargeback so they could credit my account. They never did it. When I called my credit card, it was a lot of dancing to get the credit put back on. Also, during this time, I noticed this reseller had a terrible recent review for the same thing. I'll be adding to that as well.

Purchased software from this company 4 months ago with an advertised rebate. FOUR months later I am STILL waiting for them to pay the rebate. All I get are useless canned responses and excuses from them.

I ordered half a grand worth or products on Black Friday of 2015 and never received my shipment. I logged in to check out why and realized they never even charged my card. It said a product was back stocked even though I was able to purchase it and that one item was holding up my whole order of many items. I never received a phone call or email that there was an order fulfillment problem. I decided to start a live chat session since it was late at night and this is how I was treated. I will paste the converstation below. Remember, I spend at least 10 to 15 grand a year through this company that they can track so you would think I would receive some type of special value treatment.

On 10/14/2015 I bought a refurbished PC online from newegg.com. The computer software was counterfeit and crashed while I was using it. I returned the counterfeit PC to the original shipper at 17560 Rowland St. City of Industry CA, 91748 on 10/30/2015. The UPS tracking number confirmed that they received the crashed PC. # 1Z02319W9090402288.

They refuse to return the $284.99 they took from my Visa Debit card. Everytime I contact customer service, I get the same messages from representatives Rebecca and Robin.

The messages keep telling me to return the PC to the original shipper. I already returned the PC and have proof via the UPS confirmation number.

I sent newegg.com the tracking number and everything. But they still refuse to return my money. They keep responding to my emails with the same email messages. They are intentionally avoiding my emails as an evasive ploy to dodge liability.

This matter has been going on for over a month, and I still have not gotten my money back. At the time I'm out of $284.99 and I have nothing from newegg.com to show for it.
