My daughter and I went to New Body Spa in Naperville, IL on 6/16/16. The woman that injected us claimed to be a nurse with no credentials to show. Stephanie was her name, and she was there alone with no physician in the office. The price was too good to be true, but I received Botox in the past with a certified doctor with amazing results. This woman Stephanie did injected me very fast, and I never seen what and if she actually used medication. My results are zero, like I never had anything done! I bought 40 units which is a lot of medication. I believe she either injected me with saline or very, very diluted, if any, Botox! In the past when I got Botox the doctor only used 30 units on me, and the muscle was relaxed beyond the 3 months. It's been only a couple of days since I had the Botox at New Spa, and the wrinkle are still there, with no muscle relaxation. My daughter received Botox and Juvederm and she has the same zero results! Only difference with my daughter is that the Juvederm injection caused her severe bruising, and swelling.
She injected her with no numbing cream, and she never gave us any ice packs or aftercare instructions like I received in the past from a doctor. This place needs to get shut down! The stole 200 dollars from me, and 500 from my daughter. They are advertising great prices for Botox and Juvederm injections, but they are not using the medications. It's either saline, heavily diluted, or foreign substance. I want an immediate refund or I will contact a lawyer, in addition to reporting them to Lisa Madigan, BBB, etc. They have numerous complaints, and these crooks are still in business!
Melissa I brought a Groupon for advanced laser spa. They have very unpleasant until the discuss buying their packages for future visits. You create a "bank". So my mom decided to buy buy one and I to lock in our rates. After first visit I didn't really see much of a difference. I called them and they said you may need more. So my mom n I return to use up our credits. We both left with severe headaches that lasted until the next day. Two weeks later we were unsatisfied with the results. They tell us to come in that it may have been a bad batch. They give us more injections and we leave with another headache! So after a week we still didn't see results. Not to mention they gave my mother it without even filling out any paperwork. When she went in her paper with botox distribution was filed under my name. So I decide to look up the company. I find out everyone had same results as I did! I go to call them to get a refund and it said it was closed but their hours said they were open! They closed down! So I go to Groupon one day and notice those cheap botox prices. I look at the companies address and it's the same as advanced lasers address! But now they are called new body care spa! I called them to try for a refund but no luck.
