I bought panels from James and extensively went through my plan and design with him. He made the design in terms of layout and material which he charged me a fee for. James suggested that I used his Sunfoam Panels beneath my Vinyl Plank flooring to which I specifically asked if any barrier or additional layers were needed.
Within a few months my whole floor is buckling and denting due to his foam panels which he insisted that nothing else was needed between his panels and the floor. I have installed the same flooring over normal subfloor (since I was not completing my entire house with radiant heat) where no Sunfoam Panels are used and the flooring is perfect.
