The first red flag was that they use gmail as their "official" email address. They claim to be a mystery shopping company and they will send you an excel sheet with "assignments" on it. The one i received had about 18. Each link takes you to a page where you fill out your name, number, and email address. EVERY SINGLE ONE. You will then be called by someone from a call center asking to speek with you about your interest in their company. These range from health insurance to home loans to school loans to home security systems. The majority of them appear to be fraudulant as any of them i've questioned about location or how long they have

been in business, they hung up on me or became rude and offensive. Most of their pages also have links to other, random, companies advertising their services in the form of ads and pop ups on the confirmation pages. They ask you to take a screen shot of the "confirmation page" after entering your information. They then tell you to"pretend to be interested" in the services, which i guess is how they get paid for the leads they supply. You are the lead, by the way. You are signing up to receive information using a referral code embedded in the links they provide. I'm guessing these "companies" don't know they are paying for false leads.

After completing the first set of assignments, which potentially would have made me $38 (for 18 of these), I received an email stating it would take 2-3 business days to process my job assignments. So, not only had i been suspicious about the whole thing, but I would only stand to make about $40 every 3 days, or so I thought until I received the second job sheet which stated I would make $20 for 11 assignments. I decided to opt out of it after I had received 29 phone calls over the course of those 3 days (and despite this having been 2 1/2 weeks ago i'm still receiving phone calls every morning. Now i'm being told I wont be paid for the "work" done without submitting to them my social, driver's license, and proof of residence among other things. They are citing it as US Citizen Verification "Due to a recent increase in foreign fraudulent activity."

This is a scam. None of the "companies" they "work with" appear to actually exist. They will not leave voicemails and if you try to obtain any of their business information they hang up on you. This is very similar to other scams i've dealt with in the past. The kind that claim you have an outstanding loan or payment and will be taken to court if you dont send them a money order. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I did get paid via Paypal for the work I did. However, this is not truly mystery shopping where you evaluate services and then report back to a mystery shopping company that is hired by businesses to improve the customer experience. Instead, the so-called "mystery shopper" fills out forms requesting contact from a variety of businesses such as loan centers and auto insurance companies. You are being very little to have unending solictors call you, email you and postal junk mail you.

Another oddity that was a clue something was amiss is often the links they gave me to navigate to a business for supposed mystery shopping first navigated briefly to the same, amateur-looking website. This glitch revealed to me how mysteryshoppingonlinejob probably gets its credit for selling off "mystery shopper" information.

Utlimately, this company is selling off people's contact information as sales leads for a profit and no actual mystery shopping is taking place. After two "job sheets" the paid work of giving out my contact information to a variety of businesses ended and I made a total of $46 for about 4 hours work. My phone is ringing off the hook from solictors and even when I block the numbers they just call from another number. I also block the solicitation emails but again, these solictors simply use a different email address and continue sending them.

This was a huge waste of my time and I am at the point of changing my phone number to end the plethora of solicitation calls. It could also compromise people's personal information which will be exploited online.

I submitted my information to MysterShoppingOnlineJobs.com in early October 2017. A couple of days later a woman emailed me named "Jennifer Johnson", "Senior Admission Manager". I am not sure if this woman actually exists if she is based in the US, or actually has a legitimate company. It appears to me that her business model is based on getting thousands of people to do her first and second "Assignment Sheets" before they realize that they are not going to be paid. This would explain the thousands of ad's she posts across internet forums on a constant basis across the United States (and Craiglist of which I found this gig).

The website, which is very poorly made should have been a red flag, but I thought that I would give it a try. Four hours of work to see if it was legitimate was a worthwhile endeavor in my mind. A second red flag was that on their website, they prominently display "I-9 We E-Verify".

The I-9 form is designed to prevent unauthorized workers from working in the United States. I was never required to fill out this information, which is illegal. I have since sent this specific complaint the Michigan Attorneys General Office for them to look into.

A couple days later, after sending in my initial "Assignment", she said that she would review it and let me know if it met requirements. There were a couple of things that needed to be adjusted and I quickly finished it and resubmitted the assignment. A few days later she sent me an email saying:

Hi Joe, I have received and reviewed your screenshots for your 1st Job Sheet and you did a great job! According to your notes, there were a couple of jobs that you couldn't do. The payout has been adjusted accordingly and the details are listed below: Energy Bill Savings - deducted 1 dollar(phone time not applicable due to site error)

Mortgage Refinance - deducted 1 dollar(phone time not applicable due to site error) Your Total Payout for the 1st Job Sheet is: 48 dollars

As we state in the Getting Started Guide, payouts are processed on the 3rd of each month via PayPal for the work that has been completely processed by the last day of the month. We just need to get a little more information from you to make sure that we have everything correct in our database. 1. The email address that you use to receive payments at PayPal. Please make sure the email address that you submit is correct. PayPal will not allow us to reverse any payments made to incorrect email addresses unless the money is unclaimed after 30 days. 2. Tell us how you heard about our company!

Sincerely, Jennifer Sr. Admission Manager I have since, sent a handful asking when payment will be remitted for my work and she has not responded to any of them. The date today is November 9, 2017, and I still have not received payment. This is a textbook scam. She rushes people through her assignment sheets in an attempt to get them to complete as many as possible before they realize that they will not be paid. It is her business model. And she just keeps the paltry amount that these companies pay her for her services.

This company offers fast payment for completing about 25 "assignments" they email to you. They offer $16 to complete the "work sheet" and an additional $1 if you answer the phone on certain "jobs" ... Why would you need to answer the phone? I'll explain! If you do this, they dump your number and info into a collection pool for telemarketers nationwide. Even if you answer the phone, they will continue calling and harrassing you. If you eventually ask them to stop, they won't. Will this company compensate you? No! This company is phishing scam, do not fall for it! They are not legit by any means. I now get to get a new email and phone number, as well as report them as fraud to government agencies. Yes, I stupidly fell for their trap and I hope no one else is suckered into this ploy. The only people defending them are those who are benefiting off of their scam. If you see ANYTHING on the internet about how amazing or legit this company is, DO NOT believe it! They are reported by a lot of people as fraudalent and they will be shut down if I have anything to say about it! Look into LEGAL and LEGIT companies, I should have researched this one more, lesson learned!
