On Friday May 13 2016 my wife and I (who live on Vancouver Island) went to Mount Pleasent Motors in Langley BC Canada to purchase a 2002 Ford Excurtion with a cashiers check for the amount of $9200.00. Upon arriving there we were greated by a salesman named Alex, he showed us the truck (which we had only seen pics of online).The truck was what we expected other than it had bald tires.The salesman (Alex) said let me go talk to my "manager" to see what we can do about some tires.The "manager" Victor came out and said he had some studded tires in the back we could have if we purchased the truck. So out we went for a test drive,the truck drove okay other than it had a shudder in the front end which I attributed to the bald tires.Time was running out as they close at 6pm and we still had a 4 hour trip home.We made the deal and pirchased the truck with the newer tires in the back which we had to get put on the truck.

Upon arriving back to Vancouver Island and getting off the ferry it was dark by now and I realized the insterment cluster light did not work. we were pulled over in central sannich (15 minutes from the ferry) the officer asked us if we were aware the running lights weren't on. We showed the officer that we had literally just purchased the truck and were told to make it home and get them fixed. Saterday my wife and I pulled the studs out of the tires(as they are illegal on Bc highways) unless it's winter months October-April 30 The tire guy is a friend of mine and installed them on the truck for me. He realized one of the shock mounts (rear drivers side) was floating and not really mounted to anything, free floating so to speak.I then checked the bulbs and fuses.No blown fuses or bulbs.We simply thought we would phone the dealer and get this issue fixed on Monday May 16. Sunday May 15 we went to our local Walmart with our 4 kids in tow. Did our shopping ate at Mc Donald's and left (maybe a 1/2 hour).We got in the truck went to pull out of our parking spot and it stalled (weird) starts up again stalls again finally it starts driving.Now the check engine light is on and not going out.We went to a shop my friend works at hooked it up to a Snap-On Solus Edge computer code reader it had 5 codes coming up on it. P-1000 could not complete checks on all systems, P-0720 Output Speed Sensor circuit fault, P-0722 output speed censor no signal, P-0300 misfire detected, P-0316 misfire detected on start up.Asked our mechanic what he thought about the vehicle in general he said it was a hazard and that we should return it. Monday May 16 2016 we phoned the dealership (Mt. Pleasent motors) to discuss this unsafe vehicle they sold us.We were told Victor the "manager" was not in, and that he would call us back.We started searching this dealership on the Internet and found somebody else that had almost the same story not 3 weeks prior to our experience. Also checking on the dealer license and business registry we found Victor the "manager" is actually the owner.After many phone calls and texts with the salesman (Alex). Victor reluctantly phoned us and offered to have it fixed and to let him know when we were coming over with the truck.After getting off of the phone with him my wife and I talked, figured out babysitting arrangements and that we would come over the following day Tuesday May 17 2016. So 1/2 hour after talking to Victor we phoned to make arrangements but he didn't answer our calls until we mentioned the actions we were going to take i.e.: better business bureau, VSA vehicle sales authority, and a lawsuit.To our surprise he phoned us back and told us he was now not going to fix the truck but to bring the vehicle back and he would refund us in full. Wednesday May 18 Went to the dealership to return the vehicle. I turned my iPhone on to video and recorded the encounter. Immediately my wife and I were getting verbally assaulted and insulted by Victor claiming that he wasn't going to give us our money back until he took it for a test drive.He accused me of tampering with the vehicle and making it do what it was doing.So we went for a test drive and after the first corner he changed his tone as he almost went into the ditch from the brakes pulling on the passenger side.The trucks check engine light was still on but it did not stall while he drove it.When we got back to his dealership Mt.Pleasent Motors he said here's what we will do for you...we will fix the truck, the sensors (which he conveniently had there at the shop) the brakes (that smoking after the test drive) the lights. He even offered us another vehicle we could take home until it was fixed or he would refund us.My wife and I at this time were wondering after having this vehicle and putting less than 500 miles on it what else is going to go wrong. So we both agreed on just taking the refund Victor had offered us.We went into his office, sat down with him and told him we wanted the refund.He said that is fine we have already re listed the truck for $10.995.00 which is $2000.00 more than it was advertised for. After he drew up a agreement for the refund (not even on business letterhead, low budget I guess).My wife signed it as did Victor Arash Ahadi. He then laid the bomb on is that he was going to give us a post dated check for June 05 2016, stating that the funds hadn't cleared from my cashier check and that his bank had a 20 day hold on it. But if the funds cleared before that date he would put the money into my account. The funds cleared from my bank Friday May 20. This would mean he knew the cashier check was good and that the funds were in his control.He denied this and stuck to the story that his bank hadn't cleared the funds to him yet.My wife phoned his banking institution and the bank wouldn't talk about his account specifically but said it was highly unlikely that the funds were still on hold.I spoke with Victor that day he said it was still on hold and to wait after the long weekend, that he would look after us after the holiday. We went camping for the long weekend, on our way home we stopped at a park for the kids to play. Somebody stole a backpack out of our truck which contained the check dated for June 05 2016 Victor had given us. We alerted the police they gave us a file number. We phoned Victor to notify him to put a stop payment on the check after explaining to him what had happened.He said no problem send me the police file number I will take care of you in a day or two. It is now Friday May 27 2016. Four days later and he has been avoiding us and saying he is still responsible for the check if it gets cashed (his financial institution told us a stop payment is effective immediately and that he is not liable) . So now we have to wait, I have a feeling this guy is running a broke business and can't afford to pay us. My wife and I own our own business and would never treat a customer this way. We are furious and now are going to follow through to the better business bureau, VSA, posting the video of him on YouTube and small claims court, as well as rip off report as I love this site and read it all the time. All we want is our refund so my wife can buy another vehicle that works as it should and isn't a safety hazard for her and our four kids.

same issue with this Victor thief

Hello I ma having similar issues with this liar Victor.

I will be posting my own review, have make a complaint with visa, H e threatened me so I have to call the Police, he is quite a piece of work and should not be allowed to dal with the public.
