I hired this guy in February 2015 for a divorce attorney,supposedly had a crack paralegal and they said my case would be easy and under $6k for contested....I have multiple complaints and the Bar Association in Florida is listening.....This guy won't retrun calls or emails,even when your spouse is violating judges orders for child sharing. He just keeps getting hearings set and his buddy ,the other local attorney play "Ground Hog" Day to stretch your case out......
Then you wake up and realize, no communication since the last hearing.He sends an email to make appointment for you to do parenting plan,when that is what you have been doing for the past 8 months! Oh but he is billing the "hell" out of you for every email you are trying to reach him(he returned maybe 4 in 6 mos),but this guys runs through paralegals every other month and I have met 4 in his office,3 that strated "fresh" on my case. Not my problem the guy can't manage an office,but it is my concern that he knows law. He proved in the last hearing just how bad a litigator he is, as he got pummeled by an attorney that jumped in the case after 6 mos? Huh you ask,he had all the cards in the deck stacked in the other direction due to my wife's dumbness going against the judge's orders and he still got his butt whooped by a new attorney to the case....It was because he never prepared for this hearing and is no where near good enough to adlib and to win an argument....
So if you are getting a divorce in Hernando County and don't want to get taken by an attorney,while paying out to your ex-spouse,DON'T CONTACT BRIAN C. MORRIS as he is the absolute worst.....
This guy tried to give me a fictious $7205 bill while he did nothing on my case since March 23rd this year,He was probably taking everyone's retainer just like a Maddof scheme and doing no work.There was a long period of time(one month in a half) when he was either on vacation,in New York practicing law or I was told he was in the hospital so ther should be a big gap in the entries on my bill? No, he billed me whne he was in these places and if he billed me,he is and has done it to others. I guarantee there are people with similar stories with this attorney. He will reply it is because I didn't replenish my retainer,after I paid two and didn't see any results in 6 months,that is time for a wise man to leave the table......
If you have been stung by this crooked/incompetent family law attorney,Brian C. Morris,I would like to know...Please stand with me against Attorney Rip Offs...Trust me,the good ones don't like these squirrels either!
