horrible quality not as advertised...poor customer service

listed on website as cotton/polyester making me think the sweater would be more cotton than polyester...label says 35% cotton 65% poly but feels like 100% poor quality scratchy yucky polyester crap. Wont give me a refund because I purchased it on sale...looks nothing like picture online...wont respond to emails.

Still no refund!

I returned a sweater and they got it back on Oct 5 and its now Oct 29 and still no refund on my credit card! Terrible company!

No return calls, no refund, poor quality clothing, items are way oversized, and I will never recommend them. Such a unprofessional company.

Wrong items shipped

Totally agree with you. Terrible customer service. I ordered 2 jackets - their online form didn't allow me to pick the same items in different colors and sizes so I confirmed twice with their customer service department. They still sent the wrong items and will only refund me if I pay to ship them back to them. This is their mistake, why should I have to pay??? DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!

Scam yes!

I wish I would have read the reviews before! I trusted it because it claims it’s an American company’s de that ships next day and max 2-3 days. I bought two Xmas gifts and they took my money right away but haven’t sent any of my items! It’s been 10 days and haven’t gotten any and they don’t answer the phone, emails, chat, etc etc

Okay, i ordered a sweater on December 1, 2017 and was charged the preceding day for the amount of the sweater. The email confirmation said i should receive the clothing on or around 12/19/2017. The other day i started to wonder why 2 weeks have gone bye with no response from them on the tracking. I finally sent an e-mail to them and they responded that the sweater was out of stock and i would need to order something else to replace the sweater.

i am furious since here it is 6 days before Christmas and i have no sweater. They still had my money so i demanded it back. They then sent me a message via facebook stating that they had checked with the warehouse and they have a small/medium but not the large i bought. Unbelievable way to run a company since they should have checked the stock when i ordered and paid for the item.

The last order was wrong but i kept the jacket since returning online products can get messy.

Just extremely upset and annoyed. In essence they are the worst retailer on line.

Same Situation

I ordered on 12/8 and was charged the same day. The item was in stock so the site said it would ship the next day. Now it’s over two weeks later and nothing! My order says it’s processing. I have sent 4 emails and left 3 messages and in response I have received a generic reply. There was an email to use if I felt it was urgent and guess what? No such email existed. I am so angry with this company! And now I have to go find a replacement gift and I’m probably out my 50.00 dollars because of other reviews I read of people waiting on refunds. Never again!!

Avoid this landmine

Paid for two day ship....received in eight (arriving Christmas to boot). Ordered Grey...received Pink. NO response from company. Will dispute with credit card until they respond.

Very Poor Service and Quality

This was one of the worst online shopping experiences I have had. I have ordered 3 times now and I do like the clothing. The quality is average but the customer service is incredibly poor. My latest order was placed, paid for and I got shipping information but it was never shipped. When I followed up with the owner Karolyn, she did not respond. A few weeks later I sent another email to her and customer service letting me know they didn't ship my order. At that point Karolyn did email back and didn't bother to apologize, I honestly don't think she even read it as she called me "Amy" and my name is "Savannah." She said they were moving. I understand that but you still need to provide service to paying customers. They sent me a 20% off code but unfortunately it is useless as I won't be ordering again. I hope they get it together with their service as this was really unfortunate. I guess the best I can hope for is that eventually my $100+ order makes it. I would highly recommend rethinking if you are wanting to buy from here.

I purchased a sweater from this Military Hippie based on the beautiful image used on their website. I was promised free 2 day shipping. I placed my order on 1/1/17. I did not receive my shipment. On 1/3/17 I noticed on the website that the photo of my item had been changed to a sweater of much poorer quality and one that I would not have ordered.

On 1/9/17 I got an email with an excuse for the delay - they waiting for the sweaters to be delivered to them.

The sweater was delivered on1/21/17. Not remotely the sweater I ordered. I followed the return procedure on the website and learned that my refund on a $49.99 sweater would be $33.00. I have been given the run-a-round since them. I person named Erik, while occasionally resonding to email, after several days, gives cagey non-answers to my questions. He told me I am responsible for the shipping cost and a re-stocking fee!

I have returned the sweater but have not seen any refund.

Frauds! Yet another clothing knock-off scam. Ordered a sweater advertised on their website. The sweater I received was nothing like the one depicted in their photos. Cheap material, thin weave, poorly made. Upon doing some research, I found that Military Hippie had stolen the design and photos from the origional seller on Etsy, RoseUniqueStyle! They have since taken the fraudulently aquired photos down and replaced them with new ones. They sent an email before my sweater was shipped stating that shipment was late because they were now sending out a "new and improved" sweater. They have not returned my request (via the instructions on their site) for a return authorization email with instructions on how to return the sweater for my refund!!! Any and all complaints or negative reviews are immediatly deleted from their site and social media! I assume all of their clothes may be knock-offs!!!! Beware!!!

I wish I could post photos of both the real and knock-off sweaters!

Terrible, do not purchase from this scam of a retailer.

Would give zero if I could, paid for two day shipping they shopped up ten days later. Shoes in picture looked high quality and beautiful, what I got looks like cheap junk. Never again

Worst Company and Clothing ever

Do not waste your money or time on this website. The quality is terrible. The customer service is terrible and the return policy if you can find it on the website is a joke. Store credit only. So if you purchase from this dump of a store and do not like your pieces you are stuck with a store credit. Save your time and money and go to Anthropologie which is who they are coping anyway...

It's a scam!!!

1. The don't adhere to their shipping policies:

I ordered a jacket from this company with same-day shipping. The jacket didn't ship until 2 weeks later.

2. Customer service is non-existent:

During that time, I tried to get in contact with the company multiple times and never heard back. I emailed them 3 times and received no response. I messaged them on facebook and again, no response. However, they did have the nerve to send me deals and discounts through facebook messenger after flat out ignoring my message. I tried reaching out through instagram direct message and got no response. They are clearly active on instagram because they post photos daily. So I left a comment on and instagram post of theirs and sure enough it was deleted. I also called a handful of time and reached their voicemail every time which was full so you can't even leave a voicemail.

3. Quality of items is horrible:

When the item finally arrived way later than it was supposed to, I discovered how absolutely HORRIBLE the quality was. It is nothing like it was pictured on the website.

4. They hide their negative reviews:

I attempted to leave a 1-star review on their website on the item I purchased. Sure enough, the review didn't show up once I published it. It's very obvious that they are only showing the 5-star reviews they receiving and not allowing bad reviews to show.

Avoid this place at all costs. I just submitted a complaint to the BBB and disputed the charge on my credit card.

Please go find this company on Yelp and copy and paste your review there too. This company needs to be held accountable for their wrong-doing.

Scam! Don't Buy From

I placed an order on December 16. The website advertises same day shipping. I called every day following and then finally emailed on December 19 to ask why my order hadn't shipped as it was a Christmas gift. The three-product order was split into two shipments with the first shipment finally being sent on December 19. I requested to cancel the remainder of the order on December 21. I'm unsure when the second package was shipped, but it was received on January 14 as the company never responded to repeated requests to cancel the remainder of the order. They are nearly impossible to get a hold of, they only send canned responses, and their product is awful quality.

Ordered a sweater on 12/18/18. Paid for 3 day shipping. Charged for item and Never received. Now 1/15/19 and they still haven’t responded in anyway or sent item. Got my money back through my credit card. How is this company still in business?

Scam

They promise same day or two day shipping, it’s been 10 days and I haven’t gotten my items, they took the money right away. They don’t answer phones, chat, email, etc. They have done this to many many people. Can any local or higher authority please stop them of doing this??

Why is this company still running?? I don't get it! Why can't they be shut down. They are stealing money from people....This will come back to them 10 fold....its called karma. I am over being taken advantage of. Why can't people just be honest??? Merchandise never received I wish I had read this before placing my order. This company is a sham. Don't order from them. I don't understand why they haven't been shut down for fraudulent practices. Waiting for refund

I purchased a sweater from this shady company, hate that I had & got had. The sweater wasn’t to my liking at all, returned for a full refund and still waiting. Tickets closed on my return which I’m not understanding why b/c I haven’t received an explanation or refund so why would it be closed. Tried calling numerous of times a woman by the name of Jessie was taking over the claim, have been unsuccessful reaching her & it gets better her mailbox is full. I’m sure it is with all the complaints people have against her and her shady ass business. Beware of this scam of a company!!!

I purchased the buy one get one sweater to check out the quality. For the prices they were offering for 1 sweater it comes accross as high quality clothing. NOT EVEN! The sweaters were cheap, thin and ran small (typically of what you would see coming from the Chine sites).

Can't log reviews on their site another flag.

Terrible Customer Service and advertised item isn't the same as what you receive.

I called emailed them 7 times, emailed the manager Karolyn 3 times, called 4 times and have received absolutely no response about a sweater I order over 2 weeks ago. Their website says they ship the same day or within 5 days. This has been 2 weeks. However, they were very quick to take my $45.95 for the sweater. Super disappointed in the customer service. And, the sweater I did receive is ok, but it doesn't look anything like the website. It is much thicker and stiffer than the sweater I saw online. Be very careful ordering from this site.
