I ordered $400 worth of flat aluminum bar stock, cut to two different lemgths. I didn't need them right away, so they sat for a while. When I opened the package, I saw that the ends of each bar, which should have been smoothly cut, all had a pronounced jaggedness to them, as if they had been cut too rapidly by a saw. The raised jagged points were about 0.017" - on a surface that should have been flat! When I called to see what could be done, I was told that, because more than 15 days had passed since the order, they would do nothing.
Last week, I ordered and paid for metal from this company, opting to "Will Call" to their Knoxville location.
WHen I arrived, the Manager claimed that I had to pay CASH for an order I had already paid for by CC.
The Shipping Slip he gave me was already marked PAID.
he innocently claimed he 'was not sure how HIS COMPANIES BILLING PROCEDURES went' and that if I paid in cash and it turned out I had already paid by CC, hed refund the money.
He shafted me TWICE with this before I caught it. Convenient, charge twice, collect cash, when it goes undiscovered, STICK IT IN THE VACATION FUND (pocket)
