Meaningful Beauty Reviews

BAIT and SWITCH! The television ad that I responded to offered a one time trial of the product for <$40. Instead I began to see charges of more thant $47 per month on my account. When I called to correct this, I was told that I had misunderstood, that the 1 x 90-day supply of the product would be charged in 3 monthly installments. I cancelled, and they said that they "credited" me for the amount in excess of the first payment, and that there was no need to return the product. I thought - at the time - that I was done with it. Another unwanted package arrived. I thought this was just a time lag error. However, when a third package arrived this week, I checked back to see that there had been a further 4 monthly charges of $48.

Today, I had to cancel again - this time with assurance that I will receive full credit upon return of the unwanted product. I am relatively hopefuly that I will get a refund - but this is a huge pain - and I'm sure some people will let it slide and pay rather than go through the multi-phone calls and time to reach a supervisor and demand a refund.

I ordered a starter kit just to try, didnt know if it would work for me. Now, they shipped me another package and charged my account. It was no notice by email or text, they have never let me know that they do that. I called them and they said that they got agreement to do so. I didn't even sign it, it was automatically coming through when you pay. Legaly speaking, no matter what kind of agreement involved, they HAVE to notify the customer about upcoming shipping and charges on bank account according to Supplement I to Part 1005 by FDIC.

I have attempted to contact Meaningful Beauty on 6 separate occasions cancelling my account and requesting a credit to be issued in the amount of $164.82 that was overcharged to me for one shipment of Meaningful Beauty. I have had no response from Meaningful Beauty at all and they have continued to charge my credit card $54.94, without my authorization, in August, September and October of 2017 even after I spoke to a customer service representative on 8/18/17 to ensure that I would not be charged again because I have been through this with other companies and their unconscionable & unauthorized billing scams & was promised that my account was cancelled until further notice, but Meaningful Beauty has continued to fraudulently charge my Credit Card $54.94 on three separate occasions in August, September and October and as of today's date, November 5, 2017 have only received one shipment from Meaningful Beauty. **DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM & please check your credit card statements if you have placed an order with Meaningful Beauty.

Meaningful Beauty offers a "3 months supply" for triple the 1 month supply. No where do they tell you that you are NOT getting 3x's the actual product. In fact, the main face serum is 0.5 (half) ounce for the one month supply and it is 1.0 (one) ounce for the THREE MONTH supply.

When I called them I needed to ask very specifically to confirm this as no where on their website and no where on the invoice is this information provided.

When I told them it was false advertising they said I would have to pay $15 to ship it back.

Next, told them this was fraud, I am calling the Better Business Bureau, and I am NOT paying for a false advertising, then they said they would email me a return shipping label. If I do not receive that within 24 hours I am calling my credit card to reverse the charges.

Also, I noticed others reporting they had skin reactions. I have not / will not try to use this stuff because they are purposely trying to rip-off consumers, but you may want to invetigate other reports before deciding if you want to try this. I say just don't buy it and use Noxzema! (While growing up, a neighbor's mom did a Noxzema "mask" EVERY DAY - we laughed at her then - now, 40 years later - we're not laughing anymore - she looks as great now as she did then!!!!)

Over priced products. Way over priced! It took awhile for my skin to get use to the porducts. This should never be the case for skin care. My skin never felt any added moisture. I am 49, my tiny lines never disappeared. Products never last the whole 3 months that I paid for. Yet they billed me 40 plus bucks a month, and said the products last loner than 3 months. Used it for 6 months. I am very diappointed in cost for what I recevied. Yes, if it sounds too ood to be true, it is.

Buyer beware. Its not any where near worth the money. You will be charged over and over each month for 4 months for one shipment to be sent to you. These products dont do anythin great, not at all. I gave them six months to help make my skin look just maybe sightly younger, and they did not do crap. They do not live up to their spoke person's hype. They are in this business just to make money by charging high prices for their products.

I called and emailed to cancel my membership on 3/13/17 and again on 3/18/17 and again on 4/25/17. I called and emailed to cancel my membership on 3/13/17 and again on 3/18/17 and again on 4/25/17. Each time i called, i was on hold for over 30 minutes and wasn't able to get through on the phone. I did receive automated email confirmations that all of my emails were received and i've kept those confirmations. And all of my emails stated clearly to cancel my membership now.

I received an email on 4/25/17 that my account has been inactivated as of 4/25/17, when it should have been inactivated on 3/13/17, the first time i requested it. They had since sent me an unauthorized shipment and a past due notice for $164.82 after the 1st two times i tried to cancel it. I refused the shipment and sent it back unopened to them marked clearly as "refused. Did not order. Return to sender." they still claim that i owe them $164.82. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company and a dispute with the bbb and will take further action if needed. I'll have the backing of multiple customer complaint websites Like. that show numerous complaints from people who have also tried to cancel their membership and ship back merchandise multiple times but keep getting billed.

Don't make the same mistake i did...Don't order from this company.

Ordered Meaningful Beauty. Cancelled all future shipments via email on 11/25/2016. Email acknowledged by company. Continued to be billed. Received more shipments. Cancellled again February 17, 2016. Cancellation acknowledged February 18, 2016. Only refunded $39.97 of $54.94 charged for February - for shipping and handling. Charges for December and January NOT refunded.

What a scam. Overpriced product. Poor customer service.

I had originally purchased from the t.v the meaningful beauty products it was 49.99 which wasn't bad for the few bottles you got but then a month later and the month after that I was getting charged that over and over so I called cause I didn't want to continue getting charged money I didn't have and told the lady on the phone I wanted to cancel but she didn't want to cancel me but I told her I couldn't afford it so she tried over and over to get me to order less so I could lower my payments and I said no I just wanted to cancel but now again like 6 months later I got a box in the mail and yet 3 more charges to my debit card. Now the reason I have a problem now is cause they keep charging my card and I never know before hand that they are going to and I keep getting a 36.00 overdraft fee from my bank cause I don't have the money in the bank. And these last couple overdraft fees I haven't even got any product so I'm paying money that I dont have for nothing. I'm getting mad and the people on the phone won't even listen to you say I dint have the money to afford this is just thought it was a one time thing and if I ran out of product and wanted more I could just call and order more not do this in a sneaky way and take my money.

Purchased a 30 day free trial from TV commercial of "meaningful Beauty" Kept and paid in full for first shipment but cancelled prior to the 30 days free trial being over. 2 months later I recieved another shipment and returned it the next day. Now I am getting a bill from collection agency North Shore demanding $137.86. I do not owe this company anything. These 30 free trial offers on TV are a scam to trap you into additional purchases you dont want.
