McCloud Marketing Reviews

  • Jul 21, 2019

I used McCloud in a very good telemarketing campaign, was very happy with his services and referred him to other contractors. When I moved to another market, I paid him $7,000 to produce leads and things got rough. I'm in the restoration business and have a good deal of competition after storms. With the influx of work, Rudy hired new people to train and put the green telemarketers on my leads while other contractors got the seasoned callers.

Not too big of a deal, but the quality and quantity of my leads went down. When approached about it he complained that the area was tough and he'd lose his callers if they didn't produce because of how he pays. His problem, now mine. I tried to have him market in three different areas in two cities, 28 leads were filled and were sketchy at best, I had 2 viable leads that resulted in sales. The rest were crap, excuses soared until I grew frustrated and requested to "pause" my leads which he readily agreed to do.

Today I reached out to Rudy and was informed there are no refunds and he has a 6 moth use it or lose it policy- which I don't have in writing. He knows I'm in a seasonal business and has used this to his advantage to rip me off. He said it'd been a year but it's not, doesn't matter if it was. He's taken my money and gladly not performed. I wish I could prosecute criminally and will be checking out that option.

People read this before going to work with rudy mccloud with mccloud marketing llc

Mr. Rudolph e ("rudy") mccloud uses craigs list to procure his victims to work for his marketing company under the name of "mccloud marketing llc". He interviews people under the auspices that they will be calling leads, which are actually "white page" listings. He has a script which he wants the caller to say "we are working in your area", when in actuality he is just the telemarketing company who sells any appointments the caller gets to bonafide roofing and solar companies if he can.

I accepted an offer of employment with this person, "rudy" to start on the 13th of june, '17, to work from 2:30 p.M. Until 9:00 p.M. And procured a solar appointment with a mr. C ___ on the 13th, who next day rudy said this person had a credit score of 591 and didn't qualify for a solar system.

I worked another two days until the end of 15th of june, and according to craigs list ad, he was supposed to pay me the next day, friday, the 16th, ("every friday is payday.") the next day i came to work at 2:30 p.M. And neither he nor his other two employees Dennis and ?) never showed up. He had my contact info and also the other two employees. He had evidentally contacted them to let them know not to show up, leaving me in the dark. This was obviously a pre-planned move on his part not to pay me for my three days of work plus the bonus which i had earned of $50.00. He owes me $220.00.

I finally got ahold of him by calling numerous times and texting him threatening to turn him over to the white collar section of dae's office, and also to file on him with the texas eeoc or workforce commission. He did call me back and was very derisive, and said, "i don't care if you file a report." and hung up. I had already read the outscam on him, and realized that he doesn't think he has to ever pay for my services. He also said, "i'll mail you a check by next friday." never received.

This person uses unsuspecting prospective persons to work for him and never pays them. When you call prospects, he will ask you to tell potential customers that he is a member of the bbb when he is not a member and they have him listed as a d- which is very bad. He has moved his company address, according to my investigations, a total of four times Possibly five) in the last three years All around the junior college in area.) he lives on stillmeadow dr. In richardson, tx. 75081-5551 and has a son who probably lives with him and 3 pit bull dogs. The number that he operates his business is a cell phone number, although he does have a number for his callers to use to solicit business. I would like to give you his number but i don't know who you are or what you'll do if you start calling him. Sorry.

He is very engaging and you won't believe it when he rips you off because he seems like a nice guy. He uses god a lot in his conversations, all the while intending to rip you off. This man has no conscience, and is surviving off the backs of his poor employees who are just trying to get a job and make a living. He is obviously just hanging in with his business, hoping to strike it rich.

I did file with the texas workforce commission, labor law section, fax # 1-512-936-3364, and have also reported him to other agencies to alert them so that they can build a file on him. He is a bad guy, and needs to be stopped taking advantage of the services of innocent people who in good faith go to work for him not knowing that they will never be paid.

As of this date, 07-05-2017, i have not been paid.

Please bide my warning and never work for McCloud Marketing LLC (Rudolph McCloud).! He is a liar and fired me for asking about my check that would not clear the bank. To top that off I never recieved my checks for two full weeks of work. I have no problem giving my name as far I am concerned he is the coward. For example he asked all the employees to wait throughout the weekend not to cash our checks, that should have been a red flag for me right there, but he insisted that I "trust him" .

I was fired via text from Rudolph McCloud stating he would mail my paychecks to my current address. Rudolph McCloud would not answer my phone call and in response to my text he stated "never to contact him again!.

Not only is this a warning to possible future employees but his companies who trust his leads should beware of fraudulent leads that it is scripted and made mandatory to state by the tele-marketers they are "working around the corner from them". Which I have read the customers repeatedly ask him not to lie about.

I have learned to always check up on any company that offers me a position to work for them. Rudolph McCloud thinks he does not have to pay his employees for their true effort they putforth, but the state of Texas has laws inplace for employers like this. I have never not been paid by an employer and I pray this will help others who are seeking employment not to associate with McCloud Marketing LLC.
