I parked next to a waffle house on 1/5/16 in a open lot maximum booting put a boot on my truck while I was in it had to pay $510 for them to take it off you can't even see the no parking signs unless you get out your truck
I was in the vehicle and if they had told me I needed to move I would have. I called Hobby Lobby and they told me they did not request the company to do this but that the management company DDR management was responsible. When I called DDR Property Management they told me they were doing it at the request of Hobby Lobby. This is a total ripoff.
I was parked in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby in Newnan, GA on September 25, 2015. My semi was booted by Maximum Booting Company and I had to pay $500 before I could leave. I was in the vehicle and if they had told me I needed to move I would have. I called Hobby Lobby and the stated they did not request this company to do this that it was DDR Property Management; however, DDR Property Management said they were doing it at the request of Hobby Lobby. This is a huge ripoff.
My truck was booted for parking in a loading dock area behind a Big Box store while I was in the vehicle. My issues are 2 fold. First is the practice of booting vehicles while the vehicle is occupied. Second is the business practice of this company. After researching Georgia law, I have found numerous illegal practices that they employ . First is the signage, no company name is listed and no fine about is listed. The sign aren't in close proximity to the location in which I was booted. Lastly the fine was ridiculous: $510.00 to have the boot removed. I will not name the store but will tell you this took place in Conyers,Ga.
Memorial Day weekend, Union City GA. Husband trying to get unloaded at warehouse, running out of hours after them working on truck for 5 hours. They will not let you stay there when unloaded and can't move due to DOT regs, they said he could drop trailer and come back after his break. It was raining and dark and he went to a Walmart parking lot and went in a corner out of the way. Company called him 6 am to tell him that he had been booted, they got about 10 trucks that night at Walmart. 500 dollars a pop.
Don't know if manager at this store is in on this, but sounds to me like they just are doing this on their own.

instead of being robbed at gunpoint they boot your truck and demand money,signs are not out in open for u to see easyily
