this guy Mark Allen Whittington, all his life is been doing this . He has done this to many people in California and now moved to Arizona and doing the samething .He does not have a contractor license or capable of doing the work he promises . He has a very good talk when you meet him, but turn nasty when confronted
We hired Mark Allen to be a project manager on a remodel. We gave him money up front and felt we were not getting the service as specified in the contract. We could never get a completion date out of him even after he agreed that he would give us one by a certain date. Always had excuses. We paid for tile flooring and paid him to pick it up and to date has not returned this to us as again promissed by a certain date. He was supposed to come every day to supervise the workers and supply them with material. Many times the workers were unable to get a hold of him and did not have the required supplies to complete there job for the day. He would write very disrespectful letters to us via email or text and informed us well into the job we were not allowed to contact him by phone, he did not show up for scheduled meetings and delayed the project for no reason at all. We tried doing our do diligence prior to hiring him but he was going as MarK Allen. We later found out his full name is Mark Allen Whittington and has scammed many in California. He now lives in Prescott Arizona and the current phone number is 928 910 0424. His email is [email protected]. He uses the following address for mailing which is a PO Box 303 E. Gurley St. #465 Prescott, AZ 86301. He has used the following names for doing business: A.R.C.H.I.E. Custom Woodworking, Archie Refinishing, Art of molding, Cabinet by Design and his latest Designers Remodeling. He tends to market to new home owners who have just moved to the area. The contractors who were working with him stated that he did not seem to know what he was doing.
