My movers were supposed to show up at 8 am, which I confirmed with the dispatcher the day before. The morning of the move, I ended up receiving an automated text telling me my movers are showing up at 10 am. Turned out the guy that handled my order, called Eric, completely ignored my 8 am confirmation and scheduled for 10 am.
I had to beg my building manager to give me 30 mins to move everything and had to pay extra to reschedule my train ticket. The dispatcher was great when they took my order but absolutely rude and useless when things went south. Would never use them again ever!
On saturday, march 2nd i was contacted by barry jefferson from main moving llc in florida. I was moving from california to las vegas. They gave me a quote that was at least $1000 less than the competition so i submitted my deposit. After, i dug a little deeper into the company and noticed all of the reviews from google were fake.
The same people reviewed the same businesses all across the country. I became suspicious and reached out to barry who did not respond. I then called their corporate office and was unable to reach anyone to get my deposit back.
I also noticed through scamion that the doj and dot have pursued action against people associated with this company. I have noticed an influx of negative reviews very similar to mine in the last 5 days where people were either robbed of their deposit or their things.
