Luna Skincare Reviews

  • Jan 11, 2018

Luna skin care product does sound like a miracle product, that is going to make you look so much better, buyer beware.

I tried thier product and product broke out my face, but thats not the problem, I understand everyone is different, but when I called to cancel order they had charged my credit card $89.95.

Customer Service did not help they said that they canceled order, but in reality they did not, because Today I recieved a statment from my card company and now they are charging me an addition $174.70.

I called back once again, and was told that they can't help because I had disputed the charge $89.95 with my card company.

I will pay this just to get rid of them, I'm not happy about it, I just wanted people to know how you will be treated, or how I was treated, I will chalk this up as a lesson learned, but I will also keep the dispute open with my company to see what happens.

This is really a company BUYER BEWARE.

LUNA SKIN CARE: End of November this Company said I would be receiving my refunds of $89.92 & $87.63, for charges of skincare products over & above the $5.00 trial fees. Never Happened. Again today (1-4-18) $89.95 was debited out of my bank account... They Have Absolutely No Intention of Reimbursements.! WHO KNOWS HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.???

OMG THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME

HORRIBLE RIPOFF COMPANY. I NEVER RECEIVED THE SERUM ONLY THE CREME. THEY CHARGED ME ALMOST 90$ FOR 6MONTHS UNTIL I CAUGHT IT ON MY CREDIT CARD BILL. THEY IMMEDIATELY OFFERED 75% OFF MY LAST SHIPMENT. I WAITED 45 MINUTES TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND HE OFFERED ME A REFUND ON THE LAST 4 SHIPMENTS PLUS EXTRA PRODUCT IS THIS JUST A COMPANY THAT BANKS ON PEOPLE NOT NOTICING THE CHARGES TO THEIR CREDIT CARD?

  • Dec 27, 2017

I called and cancelled immediately but they still want to bill me. So I am disputing this with my credit card company. I called the service number and they said they would cancel my $89 charge - but I had to be very forceful. We'll see. Just be careful about ordering this product. Tried to charge me $89

I ordered a trial offer of Luna serum and cream off the internet for a total of $10.90 on 10/8/2017. I did not see any thing about auto shipping every month neither did I give them permission to save my credit card.

Same day 10/08/17 I received a thank you reply again no mention of auto ship and anything about try for 30 days or need to cancel after 30 days.

I received my December 2017 statement and noticed Luna skin care had charged my credit card 10/25/17 for $89.95, 10/27/17 another $87.25.

I immediately called 877-671-0074 and talked to an argumental rep arguing that I had 30 days to cancel and at the time I order the trial one, I gave them permission to charge my card for the auto shipment,

I continue to tell them I dd not receive additional creams from them. The person said yes, you receved them. I stated you need to credit my card for the $89.95 and the $87.25 and I do not want your products because the trial did not work for me.

The person said what if we give you 30% discount, I said no I don't want your product, what about 50%, I said no I don't want your product, what about 75%, I said no. I want you to cancel and credit my credit card for the charges for something I never received. The rep said yes you got the products and we will not credit you.

I checked online the next day and another charge for $89.95 dated 11/25/17. I disputed this charge with my credit card company. I made two additional attempts to get Luna skincare to credit my card for products I never received, When I called them same rude respond we not going to give you a credit for nothing. You dispute the charge on 11/25/17 and you lost your case.

I will not allow a company to charge me a total of $267.25 and sent nothing. I never received any of their products except the trial offer which I paid a total of $10.90. I feel stressed and humiliated that a company can charged you for something you did receive.

  • Dec 8, 2017

I had a trial of this product, and then received other products, which I promptly retuned. They billed me 89.95 for these packages all of which were returned unopened.

  • Nov 28, 2017

I was doing some online shopping on Overstock.com and rec'd a message to receive a free sample of Luna Skin Cream, just pay shipping and nothing else. I thought they were associated with Overstock so I didn't question it. I did receive the creams, although I got two small charges for them as expected for shipping. When I rec'd my credit card statement today, there were two charges, one for $87 and another for $89. These were not authorized, so I opened disputes with the credit card company. If they cannot resolve it, I will most likely report them to better business bureau.

I see they have many complaints on here and it appears Luna refuses to fix and mend their ways.

Browsing Facebook and ad popped up for a cream that offered to buy it for the cost of shipping only. I noticed I was charged 98.00 to my credit card twice separately about a week after the initial shipping charge. Both under different names and with no information provided with the cream for how to communicate tact the company. After I searched Luna scam I found their number and called and a man told me I had agreed to be billed since I didn't call and cancel within 17 days of the day I ordered said product for what I was told was only going to be the cost of shipping. They refused to let me send the product back even though it remains unopened. Refused to credit my account. Told me I was out 200 basically. Had to cancel my credit card to prevent further charges but yeah I'm screwed out of the 200 now. There was no fine print warning this was a trial and I would be billed full price if I didn't cancel within the 17 days. I called one week late after I noticed the charges and now I'm Sol.

  • Nov 11, 2017

I got a email popup that said I could get a trial package for just the cost of the shipping or $4.95. Didn't notice until sometime later that my card was billed the $4.95 by one company and then $5.95 by another company I had never heard of.

I received the samples and have used them some. Seems fine.

I ordered the sample on 18 October and on 4 November I was billed $89.95 by MYBEAUTYSERUMS and on 6 November I was billed $87.35 by FROWADR*REJUVFUL. I never heard of this second company and was the one who billed me for the second shipping fee of $5.95.

I called MYBEAUTYSERUMS and was told that I had agreed to the full price if I didn't tell them I was using the product. Told him I didn't remember anything like that. He said he would settle the issue by knocking off 35% of the bill. I said no and we talked some more and then i was offered a 50% reduction. I told him I was going to tell my credit card company (USAA) to not pay the bills and have filed a dispute and a fraud compaint and have done that. Was told I wasn't the first to have this exact problem with this company.

I have never heard of anything like this with trial samples. I was told I only had to pay shipping but that was not the case. Have cancelled my credit card because I was told they would likely bill me again. I was completely caught off guard by this scam and strongly advise everyone to stay away from this offer in the future.

There is another complaint on this website's file about this same company and scam filed in April or about 7 months before mine. It must be working for them otherwise it would not still be active.

Placed order on OCT 17th-2017.. Order # 2BC4EDA68C. for 17 day free trial .

I paid only for shipping cost of $10.90 auto/withdraw on Oct 18th. which was the shipping cost I paid for a FREE TRIAL offer. Then unknowingly to me they with drawed $89.95 on Nov.3rd 2015 , 14 days later.

I called on Nov. 3 rd and ask why they took $89.95 out of my account for a 17 day FREE TRIAL ???

Lady said OH! do you wish to cancel your order ? I said what order ?

I only orderd a FREE TRIAL. she ask me why I wanted to cancel my order.

Well for #1. I hadn't had the product long enough to decide if I liked it.#2 again I only wanted to try the FREE product.

She says do you wish to cancele the order then .. I said please and please refund my money.

She then told me that they would not refund the $89.95 because it was what I agreed on.

OH no...I only agreed to TRY A FREE PRODUCT !What a RIP OFF !!!.. At that time She canceled my so called order..took my money and I have NOT recieved any other products in which I feel I'm intitled too for the $98.95.

I only recieved the two little bottles of the products that I had already paid the shipping charge of $10.90. Please please help me get my money back.

Thank you

Advertise skin care for 3.00 plus shipping and somewhere they say that if you do not cancel iin 14 days they charge you 89.95 on your credit card. I could not find this info and they refused to give my money back . I called and told them to return my money and cancel any other skin care. They refused to give me back my money but canceled any further activity but continued to try to give me other deals so I would use their product. Rip off deluxe and I fell for it but never again.

  • Nov 7, 2017

I ordered on the 20th of October a Trail Offer of their Revitalizing Moisturizer and only used for 2 days when my skin started to break out with my eczema. Also, I had an Rejuvenating Facial Cream which I never opened because of the break out.

The website indicates that the best results shows within 30 days. So, you are lead to believe that the Free trail offer is for that time frame. Thats where they get you!! The offer is for 14 days and when day 16th came I was charge $89.95 for the Free trail products sent.

When I called to cancelled, they would not refund me and did not care of my break out. There is no Free in this site.

  • Nov 7, 2017

I ordered a "free" skin serum and a "free" face cream and was only supposed to pay for shipping. I happened to check my bank statement online two weeks later and saw they had deducted $89.95 from my bank account. I also incurred a $34.00 overdraft charge from my bank for this. I called Luna and was told that because I didn't notify them within 14 days I was billed for the product. I was told that I didn't read the agreement when I ordered and this was a "trial" offer and not a "free" offer but that's not how it was advertised. When I told them I didn't want the product and would mail it back to them they offered to refund me 35% of the price. I wasn't happy with that so they offered 50% off, then 75% off and were supposed to refund me $62.05. They sent me my cancellation emails and emails showing what the refund amount would be. Not only did they not refund my money, they deducted another $87.35 out of my account. This was done either right after I spoke to them on the phone or later the same day. After this deduction I immediately called the fraud dept. of my bank and they are now handling this for me. I also cancelled my debit card and am getting a new one so they can't rip me off again. I'm posting this so others are aware of this scam company. This is disgraceful and they shouldn't be allowed to keep doing this to people.

I was charged on my credit card unknowingly after I received a free sample which I paid shipping for. Triedcalling 5 times & each persontold me they could Not find my account but they already charged my Disability money from my account. Kept getting run around & told there was nobody else I could speak to & then just a have a nice day!

Buyer beware!! I ordered this product (serum and moisturizer) to “try for free, and I only had to pay $6.99 shipping and handling. A month later I received another box so after calling CS to return unopened box, I was informed that I was contractually obligated to pay $200.00 a month. I explained I was not aware and not interested . The rep refused to credit my account for the full amount and said regardless of the box no being opened, it wasn’t returnable. I am outraged! No telling what this is I have been putting on my face! It is a scam to get your credit card and charge you monthly. She did offer me the two products for $ 89.99 but refused to credit the full amount and informed me that I should have read the fine print!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have fallen into this scam, so sorry. I have never had such a crooked business dealing happen like this. If you do like the product, Amazon Prome offers the same product for $38.99 for the serum and $36.99 for the moisturizer instead of this scam business selling at $89.99 each. The saddest part was when I tried to explain my frustrations and feeling scammed, she tried to get me to buy more products!!!!!!!!!!!

This luna skin care is a rip off. They took money from my bank account for two items I never ordered. Now my bank is not refunding me the money. I haven't received anything package that I paid 177.00. Dollars for and I never would. They are a cheat. The only thing I had ordered was a trial and that was 4 months ago. Nothing since. Now I've had to get a new account new card this should not have to happen.

  • Sep 23, 2017

Total fraud from the actors they claim use this, to the trial size being free it is not unless you return it within 14 days and if not each month will take out almost 100 dollars. They try and sell you another trial cream at checkout and even if you say no you will recieve it and that is another 100 dollar range each month. So in 14 days after getting this junk, your card will be charged. Call you credit card and block them ASAP Do not call them they will ask you to, so you can cancel this is also a set up to fabricate a call that you wanted to continue.

All written earlier. What I previously wrote explains it all.

After a person agrees to just pay S&H for these 2 products. The company then charges $89.95. Of course, being a ,now, single mom of 2 girls does NOT have this money = $27.00 insufficient funds fee. I'm the only one to use my bank account. So, NO. I do NOT monitor it closely. I still had no clue any of this was done until today (9/16/17.) I only found about this because I just received another bottle in the mail. I called the company to find out what was up? It turns out I was charged another $89.95 in September. Of course, I have another $27.00 insufficient funds fee. They said, "you were only charged for the one product because your account didn't have sufficient funds for the 2nd product." NO s***! I don't have that kind of money!!! So, if I did I would have been charged about $400.00 + two $27.00 insufficient funds fees. Please report this company! I know I am NOT the only person that can't afford this financially or fit this to happen to them.

I bought the free sample pay shipping only and then I get billed for 87.35 & 89.95 , when I called I was told I had to cancel within 14 days if I did not want, I said I did not sign up for anything and they said I did. I told them I wanted a refund and they refused, they finally said they would give my 35% back I refused then they said they would give me 50%, I refused again finally after they talked to Corporate, yea right they could give me 75%, still not happy this is a big scam.

I thought I was only ordering a trial for the eye and skin cream. I received an exact duplicate of the original product a month later. The prices are $87.35 and $89.95. I immediately called and notified Carol from customer service that I did not order any additional products. I was told, that I didn't cancel, I checked the box for the terms and conditions, and unfortunately the products are mine to keep. I told him I will call my credit card and he was just rude and said, you won't win that. The customer service representative was not customer friendly, in fact I asked for a supervisor and he said he is one .He was arguing with me as if I was a child. I literally told him that I didn't want to speak to him anymore. He was so disrespectful, that I told him I was hanging up. TOTAL SCAM! I called back to speak to a supervisor and spoke to Marcus who had the same attitude. I was offered the products at a discounted price. I eventually did get my subscription and ordered cancelled and am supposed to receive a refund, after much aggrevation. I don't know how they sleep at night.

  • Aug 28, 2017

I ordered Luna Revitalizing Moisturizer Pallet: 125897 and Luna Rejuvenating Facial Serum Pallet: 1255896. $4.95 each for shipping was all I was to pay on July 26, 2017. I look on line and went to the bank and had them to do an investigation. That's when I found out that they went into my account with out my knowledge and took 177.30.

  • Aug 26, 2017

Scam

Very similar stories to the above. You can't even click on the terms that appear in a very small area on the bottom of their webpage on any phone. Try it, nothing comes up! This is your basic bait and switch and they need to be shut down immediately.

  • Aug 23, 2017

I called 855-269-1607 to find out what the charges are on my card. I told them I didn't not order them and I wanted the money back on my card. They told me it was too late. I returned the product the day I received it and their telling me it's too late for a refund. That's crap. I didn't authorize them to charge my card for $84.99 or $89.99. I am going to call them back and send them to the attorney general's office.

I have had the same issues as the other two ladies that posted before me. I just got off the phone with customer service at Luna Skincare for the second day in a row.

My sister had told me that she ordered some new skin care, it was a serum online and had mentioned that all she had to pay was shipping which was 4.95 and they would ship you a trial of the product. Of course, I wanted to try a new skin care product and just have to pay shipping, Awesome! So, I went to the website and read the entire site, it explained about what the serum was proven to do etc. So, I went ahead and placed my order.

Two weeks later, I receive my skincare product, and I tried it several times. Well 2 days ago, my husband calls me and asks if I bought skincare for $89.00, I told him no. So I call our bank to find out about the charge. The lady at the bank asked if I had purchased any skincare online and I told her I didn't think so. She said, have you bought anything where you have had to pay for shipping only and they send you a trail of the product....and of course I started flipping out! The lady at the bank gave me the number that they had for that charge, she also told me to NEVER purchase anything like that again, they are scams.

Like the story of the lady before me, a lady answers the phone and asks for my zip code, then my mailing address and my email. I gave all of that too her and explain that I have a charge on my account of 89.00 and wanted to check why. She said that when I bought the trail that it locked me into a contract, or subscription where they were billing me every month. I told her that I was under the impressuion that if I paid the $4.95 shipping that I could try a trial of the skincare serum. She said that if I read the Terms and Conditions it explains it all there. I started laughing and told her I looked the website over and never saw anything like that or I would have NEVER bought the product. ( I just looked at the website again today and still can't find any Terms or Conditions anywhere) I told her that I wanted my $89.00 back immediately. She said she was sorry that she wasn't able to do that etc. I told her I was staying on the phone until this was resolved. I told her that this company was misleading the consumers and how horrible it was they that do this. I asked to speak to a manager twice and both times she put me on hold but said that the supervisor was unable to come to the phone. She finally said that she could offer me a 35% credit. So they offered me $31.48. I told her that was fine if she wanted to give me that credit but that I would be calling back to speak to a manger and get the rest of it. So we got off the phone.

I called back again today and spoke to another lady who asked me all the same questions, needing my zip code, address, etc. I told her why I was calling, explained what happened the previous day. She told me that she was sorry but that I agreed to the 35% credit yesterday and it was given and case was closed. I told her I wanted the rest of my money refunded and that I called back today to speak to a supervisor. She said they didnt have anyone there...I said Oh, all of you are there working and you have no manager over seeing any of you? She said well we do have a supervisor here but they are unable to come to the phone. The lady then said, well we have your call recorded from yesterday agreeing to take the 35% refund. I then said, well, if you have that recorded you will also hear me telling her she could give the refund to me if she wanted but I was still calling back to speak to a supervisor to get the rest of my money back. We argued and I told her that this company was a joke, a scam and was not upfront with the consumers, and that I would be going to every website I could to tell everyone what an ordeal this was...and even on Amazon because I see the product is sold there too. She put me on hold and came back and said that they could refund me $13.00....I started laughing and told her they were absoultely hilarious. I told her we could sit on the phone all day and she said that she didn't have time to that and I told her that was not my problem. So after some more arguing, she put me on hold and when she came back she offered to refund me 75%. So after that, I said fine and figured I would cut my losses. I ended up getting all my money back except 20.00. Trust me, I have learned my lesson! To be honest, not sure how good the actual product is, but I am complaining about what a scam all of this was and the rude, crazy customer service. Never heard of companies offering 35%, etc...Don't get suckered in.

Luna Skin Care ripped me off in the very same way as those ports I have read. I did not order the product nor do I want the product. I tried on 2 different occasions to talk to someone at the company. I was put on hold for 25 minutes one time and 20 minutes a second time. I never spoke to a company representative. I contact d my credit card company and that representative was very helpful. We were on a 3-way call with credit card rep, Luna rep, and myself. The Luna rep would not even allow us to talk. She kept spouting off lines she was obviously reading. She started by offering me a 35. % discount on only one of the supposed shipments I rceived. When I continued to dispute her, she offered a 50% discount and finally ended with a 75% discount. This is a total scam and I hope that this company is revealed for what it is. Nothing but a rip off!

A pop up came in while looking at a article and I thought for less than 10 dollar I would try this Luna Skin care. I got the 2 item and then 2 weeks later got a charge for $ 89. 95. to my account. I called the company and was told that they would cancell my next order but the charge they could not refund. I demanded to speak to a supervisior and told that they were not avialable but hold a moment, they return and would refund 1/2 my money. Again I ask to speak to some one high them he was with out any luck. I also told them that I would report this company and would not have anything goood to say about them. The box came with nothing but the products and no information about future ording that should have told me someting right then and there. I am so angry and upset that companpies can get away with this, as well as getting taken for a ride.

How many other people feel this way too.

On July 24th Luna skincare charged me 89.95. I had sent for a free-HA! sample the early part of July.

I tried to stop the payment at my credit union on the 24th it had already gone thu there was nothing they could do.

I called the company right away. I was basically told it sucks to be me and I am out almost 90.00 dollars. I am furious

that is a lot of money for a fricken free sample--yes I should have known it was too good to be true-stupid me. I want my money back!!!
