After I recieved y order from ebay Luminess airbrush Cosmetic and make up , I didnt recieve all my make up in my kit so I told the lady she didnt have all the make up in my kit so she send me a whole new kit ...Next thing I knew in a few month I get a bill from Luminess Direst LLC..I called and told them I did not buy from them I bought from a person on ebay that acted confused and acted like well if you have 2 kits you need to pay for the other I was like but I did not buy from you I already paid for it on ebay and it sdidnt hsave make up with it and she sent me abother one I am not paying you anything...So here is it July I get another bill from Luminess LLC Direct I am not responding to their scams and will not call them when I owe them nothing..Its a Scam so folks be very careful and do not respond if you do not owe them anything...
Luminess advertises a free trial- pay for shipping only. They then do many add ons including a night time serum. What they fail to tell you is they are different companies and you can not just cancel one. They charged me $89 and refused a refund because when I called in I had called the "other company" and cancelled my account using their automated service- that equals no refund!!
This company uses deceptive advertising/practices to lure prospective clients. TV advertisement stated for 29.95 you can get luminessair but they it states as a special you can get 1/3 off the price for a cost of 19.95. It states 30 day trial only. What they don't tell yiou that it really costs over $300.00 for the product. On their webset in large numbers they state the 19.95 price. Elsewhere in very mall letters and written alphabetically it states that after the trial period "you will be billed in 5 payments of fifty nine dollars". They never state what the total cost is numerically. they don't want you see the 59.00 payments so it is written only in alphabetical terms. Even their TV add doesnt' verballly state this. Also, the ad leads you to believe you are getting 1/3 off the cost luminair which is not true. it is 1/3 cost of the initiial 29.95 "trial cost". this is where buyer beware of the "fine print" The lady I spoke to said it is noted in the website 3 times......yep but in fine print. that fine print will kill you!
We did not get reinbursed for the fed ex shipping of 14.22 that we were entitled to. when you phone the company, you get put on an extended hold and then they say they'll call you back, but never do.
Ordered makeup brush per television for $19.95 received was not what my mother, who is 84 wanted she called to return they said she could not return because it was on my credit card. I called to return and they said it had already been 30 days could not return without a 25% resocking fee which comes to $84.00 if all items returned and if any of the items were not received we would be responsible for the total of $339.00.
