I found a scammer online getting ready to really crank up a heavy duty multi million dollar mortgage fraud and real estate scheme that was enacted back the early 2000's and got disbanded around 2011 with multiple key players going to jail and one dying .
I've been using LinkedIN for a very long time, pretty sure it's my oldest active social media account. In recent months however, my posts have been getting removed. There's nothing in my content that I can see, which violates TOS.
As of this morning, my account has been completely restricted so I can't even log in. When Reaching to them on Twitter, their support team was fast to respond, but maybe as a security protocol- acted like they didn't know what was going on.
I think they're setting a very bad example as a professional networking site to feed into political biasness. I'm writing this review incase my site is shutdown and they close it out before I have a chance to make a copy of my most recent data with them.

We have been with Linkedin since 2008. We have built a large connection base and have been harrased by continuously be approched for premium services. The account was originally under Michael Godwin and wer decieded to let Acie-Chase "AC" Haze manage it going forward. After a long strectch with our account updated and under different guidance, Acie placed our goodwill mascots photo in place of mine or his.
Then all of a sudden, We get notice that the photo was offensive and the account killed. Make not all of connections have been preserved by the cyberservices team because we kept intouch with everyone of them. Linkedin has tried to intimidate us by saying we have reached or coming close to reaching our limit for the week on connection request. this is after opening a new account. Linkedin stated that they have archived our photos and all information.
they want people to put as much as possible out there to Linkedin can data-store as much as possible for resale. I am dealing with a situation with LinkedIn that I have no idea how to solve. Our company wanted to sponsor a post, which was about a donation we made for homeless kids that don't get gifts for Christmas. We just wanted this promotion for a day only (this isn't the first one we've done, so we're aware of how the end dates work).
Somehow they're saying we didn't put an end date, so since December 24, they have been billing us daily. We now have an expense of almost 7,000 dollars that is going to ruin us. We are a very small business. The premise of "clients need to keep track of their ads, we don't send updates or receipts" seems a bit deceitful to me.

I did ask for My Profile Back On Numerous Occasions and they have Refused To Send It Back To Me!
Today, Being Wednesday, May 11, 2016, I just Had Enough With Them And Their Abuse, Lies, Games, Etc. and so I wrote them a letter today on their website and told them that if they are going to keep on Discriminating and Prejudicing ME like they have been doing so far by Illegally Preventing Me From Creating and/or Using My Previous Profile On LinkedIn and Refusing To Return My Profile That I Wrote About Myself Back To ME, then I will Take Them To Small Claims Court and we can deal with it there.
I also told them that I am Publishing Several Negative Reviews about them on many Social Media Websites with Documentation so that everybody knows what they did to ME and Can Therefore See LinkedIn's True Colors From My Experience And Perspective!
We signed up for the trial premium service. We decided that it was not what would work for us so we emailed and called them several times. We even recieved an email from them that said this situation would be resolved. Low and behold my debit card was charged the $199.95 when the trial was up. We called and each time they told me it was taken care of or that we had to start all over with the support email. I went to my bank and gave them the information and they are trying to fight the charge but LinkedcIn is fighting our reversal of the charges. I finally had to cancel my debit card and get a new one so they can't do it agian (th $119.95 is per month!) Once you sign up you can't easily cancel the charges and they will not work with you to do it. They are a scam operating in a legitimate name. DON'T sign up for it!!
A little less than two years ago, I signed up for a trial of LinkedIn Premium as my partner had just been diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and I needed to let some of his former collegues know. I promptly canceled my subscription and well before the trial ended.
Yet LinkedIn continued to charge me.
Clearly, someone who is a fulltime unpaid caregiver to a cancer patient isn't in the job market, so why would I contiue to need a Premium account. They have proof I never used it yet won't give me anything but a vague, impersonal boiler plate response.
Because of a malfunction on their site, I wasn't aware of this. They have a red alert banner that reads "You must verify your account." I did this when I signed up for the trial, and yet it doesn't work (I have found out lately after several tries.) Therefore I never got the notifications that I was being charged.
This is the tip of the iceberg on the terrible customer service experience on Linkedin:
1. They have no way to reach anyone by phone.
2. If you try and find a contact e-mail on their website you will lose your mind. I finally found one via a google search which I tried. I received an e-mail saying it know longer worked and a link back to their completely worthless run around of a help page.
3. They have a refund space which you can't type in.
4. I finally reached someone via "Live person" who opened my account. I recieved nothing but a vague, insulting, inpersonal response and a 3 month refund. I
5. I tried in vain to attach proof, but their attachment funtion doesn't work
I notified the BBB and get more canned, vague impersonal response from someone who could care less and obviously hasn't read my complaint.
The bank account connected to my LinkedIn account was to our ER fund which we never touched therefore we never had a reason to check it. LinkedIn drained it.
First off I am a premium member for about 5 years for my personal business but just recently opened another account for my other business, working on a missing person case. I launched a page and a separate account under the name of the missing woman, gave accurate information on the profile page, own the images I posted of the missing person with my own watermark. Gave an accurate email address that by the way get's always forwarded to my business email address as well. This is so any tips about the fugitive responsible for her disappearance come in via the Internet I can retreive them timely.Not even a week after launching my new page on the missing woman, they shut me down with no explanation. I had connected with numerous law enforecment agencies in the USA and also abroad to help in our search to get justice. Also private investigators, new journalists, former and current car racing professionals who know the man responsible for the disappearance was a former Formula One race car driver.
Also former and current airline employees as the victim, the missing woman worked as a Senior Flight Attendant.
I can not one, speak to a human about this shut down nor do they give me any explanation why the page was shut down? After making nunerous appeals my permanent restricted status has been changed back to temporary restriction again? I guess I got someone's attention on this finally?
The clincher is the fugitive at large for being wanted for parole violation, tax evasion and a person of interest for this missing woman and another one in the USA is using Linkedin for a means of communications with his relatives in the USA by way of a third party or he himself posing as someone in Asia?
I personally uncovered who all the people working and conspiring and aid and abetting a criminal are through Linkedin. I notified Linkedin about this matter. So how is it that someone using the same name mulitple times and has zero contacts and can communicate freely with no restrictions and be a criminal enterprise but a woman helping get a missing woman's name out there as it is a business too get's shut down?
How come they allow people who build a page on their web site and don't have one connection be okay to be on thier site but someone who aggressively campaigns, trying to build a database of supporters and attempt to connect with people Linkedin puts in front of you to connect be a reaason to shut them down? This is the free world isn't it and our first ammendment right is stil intact isnt it? Also how can they keep the money you invest in the Linkedin page and all the extra fees you paid out to send messages be justifiable when they don't even allow you to retrieve your contact list or messages?

I was a legitimate member of LinkedIn with a profile for several years, however, during the past year, they have Illegally, Purposely and Deliberately Blocked My Account with NO HONEST REASON GIVEN!
I know that I did Nothing Illegal on their website!
The ONLY thing that I did was contact other members which is What You Are Supposed To Do When You Are Legitimately Networking and send out ONLY Legitimate Messages To Other Members Like Myself and it was up to the other members if they wanted to communicate with me and/or be my friend or NOT!
Question: What Is Wrong Or Illegal With That?

It was the SAME as when I would receive their messages asking ME the Same Thing to be their friend and of course, it was My Choice of whether I wanted to Accept them or NOT!
This HONEST WAY OF COMMUNICATING ON LINKEDIN seemed to bother the people who help run their website and they would come back to ME and tell ME to ONLY Add People Who Know ME which is so STUPID and RIDICULOUS because I was getting tons of Friendship and/or Business Requests from people on LinkedIn and I Never Let It Bother Me since LinkedIn Is A Networking Website and their Sole Purpose Of Their Existance Is To Allow Their Members To Network With One Another!
It Is A Personal Choice To Become Someones's Friend Or Not and this is certainly NOT a Legal, nor Legitimate Reason To Block Somebody's Account if somebody Does Not Respond Back To Me and/or Does Not Wish To Be My Friend and/or Networking Connection on LinkedIn.
In Any Case, these Losers Blocked My Account and Refused To Let Me Create Another Account.
Believe Me, I Have Tried!
Please NOTE: Whenever I contact them to ask them to Fix My Account, they respond by giving ME a Form Letter without the TRUE REASON of Why they BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT?
Of Course, They NEVER TELL THE TRUTH!

NOT only that, but they also ILLEGALLY STOLE MY PROFILE THAT I CREATED and NEVER GAVE IT BACK TO ME!
I did ask for My Profile Back On Numerous Occasions and they have Refused To Send It Back To Me!
Today, Being Wednesday, May 11, 2016, I just Had Enough With Them And Their Abuse, Lies, Games, Etc. and so I wrote them a letter today on their website and told them that if they are going to keep on Discriminating and Prejudicing ME like they have been doing so far by Illegally Preventing Me From Creating and/or Using My Previous Profile On LinkedIn and Refusing To Return My Profile That I Wrote About Myself Back To ME, then I will Take Them To Small Claims Court and we can deal with it there.
I also told them that I am Publishing Several Negative Reviews about them on many Social Media Websites with Documentation so that everybody knows what they did to ME and Can Therefore See LinkedIn's True Colors From My Experience And Perspective!
We signed up for the trial premium service. We decided that it was not what would work for us so we emailed and called them several times. We even recieved an email from them that said this situation would be resolved. Low and behold my debit card was charged the $199.95 when the trial was up. We called and each time they told me it was taken care of or that we had to start all over with the support email. I went to my bank and gave them the information and they are trying to fight the charge but LinkedcIn is fighting our reversal of the charges. I finally had to cancel my debit card and get a new one so they can't do it agian (th $119.95 is per month!) Once you sign up you can't easily cancel the charges and they will not work with you to do it. They are a scam operating in a legitimate name. DON'T sign up for it!!
A little less than two years ago, I signed up for a trial of LinkedIn Premium as my partner had just been diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and I needed to let some of his former collegues know. I promptly canceled my subscription and well before the trial ended.
Yet LinkedIn continued to charge me.
Clearly, someone who is a fulltime unpaid caregiver to a cancer patient isn't in the job market, so why would I contiue to need a Premium account. They have proof I never used it yet won't give me anything but a vague, impersonal boiler plate response.
Because of a malfunction on their site, I wasn't aware of this. They have a red alert banner that reads "You must verify your account." I did this when I signed up for the trial, and yet it doesn't work (I have found out lately after several tries.) Therefore I never got the notifications that I was being charged.
This is the tip of the iceberg on the terrible customer service experience on Linkedin:
1. They have no way to reach anyone by phone.
2. If you try and find a contact e-mail on their website you will lose your mind. I finally found one via a google search which I tried. I received an e-mail saying it know longer worked and a link back to their completely worthless run around of a help page.
3. They have a refund space which you can't type in.
4. I finally reached someone via "Live person" who opened my account. I recieved nothing but a vague, insulting, inpersonal response and a 3 month refund. I
5. I tried in vain to attach proof, but their attachment funtion doesn't work
I notified the BBB and get more canned, vague impersonal response from someone who could care less and obviously hasn't read my complaint.
The bank account connected to my LinkedIn account was to our ER fund which we never touched therefore we never had a reason to check it. LinkedIn drained it.
First off I am a premium member for about 5 years for my personal business but just recently opened another account for my other business, working on a missing person case. I launched a page and a separate account under the name of the missing woman, gave accurate information on the profile page, own the images I posted of the missing person with my own watermark. Gave an accurate email address that by the way get's always forwarded to my business email address as well. This is so any tips about the fugitive responsible for her disappearance come in via the Internet I can retreive them timely.Not even a week after launching my new page on the missing woman, they shut me down with no explanation. I had connected with numerous law enforecment agencies in the USA and also abroad to help in our search to get justice. Also private investigators, new journalists, former and current car racing professionals who know the man responsible for the disappearance was a former Formula One race car driver.
Also former and current airline employees as the victim, the missing woman worked as a Senior Flight Attendant.
I can not one, speak to a human about this shut down nor do they give me any explanation why the page was shut down? After making nunerous appeals my permanent restricted status has been changed back to temporary restriction again? I guess I got someone's attention on this finally?
The clincher is the fugitive at large for being wanted for parole violation, tax evasion and a person of interest for this missing woman and another one in the USA is using Linkedin for a means of communications with his relatives in the USA by way of a third party or he himself posing as someone in Asia?
I personally uncovered who all the people working and conspiring and aid and abetting a criminal are through Linkedin. I notified Linkedin about this matter. So how is it that someone using the same name mulitple times and has zero contacts and can communicate freely with no restrictions and be a criminal enterprise but a woman helping get a missing woman's name out there as it is a business too get's shut down?
How come they allow people who build a page on their web site and don't have one connection be okay to be on thier site but someone who aggressively campaigns, trying to build a database of supporters and attempt to connect with people Linkedin puts in front of you to connect be a reaason to shut them down? This is the free world isn't it and our first ammendment right is stil intact isnt it? Also how can they keep the money you invest in the Linkedin page and all the extra fees you paid out to send messages be justifiable when they don't even allow you to retrieve your contact list or messages?
