They're scam artists and the "free" lifeline service they offer is FAKE. They approve you for the free phone and service that they offer , then send you the world's cheapest crappiest phone, and after a week of trying to force you to purchase things from them with no luck on their part, they just shut your service off and send you a message saying they got word you chose another company and good bye out of the blue. I've never had another free life line service nor did I ever even apply for another service so that's just a flat out lie , and to make matters worse it was the phone my 11 year old daughter uses when she has to be home alone while I work !!! Crazy, thinking it was just a misunderstanding I mentioned it on Facebook and had a handful of people claim they had the exact same experience!!! Save yourself the time and headache!! There are actual real lifeline services out there who don't scam or use shady business practices. Just upset I had to go through this bs to find that out!
I am a 73 year old pre-diabetic who has been diagnosed with intermittent atrial fibiilation and have a tumor in my body. I have been defrauded of most of my retirement funds. I can not afford a telephone so I got a free phone from Telrite Life Wireless of Covington, GA.
Three years ago they notified me that I had to recertify my eligibility but I tried over 30 times and found it impossible to recertify. The people who worked there kept refusing to recertify me and told me to use their automated system but it did not work. So they cancelled me.
After I finally got my phone back, I called every now and then to find out if I had to recertify. The first time, a mechanical voice told me that my recertification had been done automatically. the second time I called, a mechanical voice told me that I was not required to recertify at that time. Third time I called, I found out that my phone had been disconnected.
I tired to find out why last Thursday, October 19, 2017. I was told that I had not recertified and then that I was not with their company and then heat assistance did not quality me for a free phone any more and then that their company no longer services my area of the United States.
I was then switched to a third or fourth person who said that their company does service my are of the country and that I would receive an email from them today at the library. but it has not arrived. I feel like I am getting the run around just like I did three years ago.
I was a agent for Life Wireless got fired because voicing my opinion about our pay rate. have no way of tracking money or paperwork everything is done on the internet formal and employees now are complaining about the pay rate here in California. minimum wage is $10 as an agent I was only making $8 because of corporate was taking $2 out of every phone that I was selling. when I quit I had no way of knowing how much they owed me .some guy bring me $276 and told me that's all I was old .I have the text of this guy named Eddie work for Life Wireless a corporate guy .as an agent I will log in to start my day I can see how many phones I sell and that's it .I did not receive any bonuses from the other company I was told I will receive my bonuses never did .I work for 2 months there's no way for a agent to track anything everything is done on the computer. I can't even find their address what city or state that they are in that's my complaint straight robbery

I myself, my son and niece worked for the company. You stand on street corners and hand out phones. You get paid by each phone you hand out. Base is 6.50 but only after you pay off the lease on the tent,banners,table clothes. when you quit your job the manager/controller is suppose to fill out paper work so that you are re-enbursed for the 750.00 that they take out of your pay. when you leave you can't return anything until the manager/handler files these reports. I have been calling and canllng the manager/handler and company for months. As of Today 7 workers have been ripped off by this manager and company
